Again, born and raised in Philadelphia so I am a Cheesesteak snob and can be very critical when it comes to Cheesesteaks and Pizza. I stopped at Jerry's last minute, I was in a hurry and hungry. At first glance I found the establishment very clean, the staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. At this time let me staye, I am not a Wiz guy, I'm a provolone person however, today I tried The Regular Philly Wiz Cheese steak with fried onions and I was very pleasantly surprised. The roll was good, the sandwich came hot with a good amount of meat and I liked the wiz. I reccomend this Jerry's location and The Philly Wiz.

Called Jeffery's now but basically taste the same if not even better then Jerrys. Came on a late friday night and although they were slow, service was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I used to come here a lot as a kid and I'm still happy it taste the same years later! Will definitely make the drive to eat here more often!

Ok, first: it is renamed to Jeffrey's Subs & Pizza now, fysa Second: no sandwich has a right to be this good. Other than being REALLY fresh, I cannot put my finger on what is so good about it. But I will be back. Sandwich comes w a $1 off coupon for the next; oh, you had me at "sandwich." Hidden gem.

Big Philly (wiz wit), plus fries. Very filling!

It's hard to review a chain, but when you work near one and experience it enough times, I feel more comfortable doing so. I also have to admit the regional bias to a local establishment, but I'm happy to say this is tempered with an infrequency in patronizing said locale. In short: chains are chains, and I don't eat hear often, but home-town hero, so take it for what it is. It's Jerry's. Cheap pizzas on Monday, regional cheesesteaks, and colorful advertisement. That's what we all know and love from Jerry's (Ooh, ooh, Jerry's!). Those ads have been on since I was a kid. But, is the food worth it? What about the rest of the dining experience? Well, starting off, this location is pretty big for a sub/pizza shop. There are tables for at least 30, I would estimate, probably more. Also, it's colorful and busy, which to me is the essence of the 80s pizza shop. There are two pinball machines, a lotto machine, and a horse racing TV, not to mention neon and lit menu boards. Definitely a feast for the eyes, and I absolutely love it! The decor, beyond the above-mentioned awesomeness, is a bit outdated. I'm sure the tables, chairs, floor, and ceiling would love a makeover. I can't say this detracts too much for me, but it still wouldn't hurt to update the place a bit. (Just don't lose the pinball machines)! The food... ah, the food. I have a love/hate relationship with Jerry's. I love their menu, but I hate the food by the time I get it. Why? Two words: temperature control. Here's what I mean. On my last visit, I dined in. I ordered a cheesesteak combo (side of fries, drink). To their credit, the fries were rocket-hot, and were perfectly cooked/seasoned. Well done! The sub, however, was already getting cool. I think the reason was, the cheese sauce (I got the whiz special) was sitting cold on the bun, and the bun was not heated, so the hot meat landed on room temperature and cold ingredients. This wasn't enough to heat up the sauce, given that all the heat was escaping up, away from the open-faced sandwich and cheese/bread below. So, it ended up lukewarm, though if I'm being honest, still pretty darn tasty. It's not high quality food, either, at least that's my impression. The pizza has always been a little tough, the toppings somewhat sparse (depends on the day), and the accoutrements like bacon and cheese are often lacking in flavor. Some of the best ideas (like the W or the Bubba) sound so good on paper, but you just don't taste the idea of what you ordered on execution. Is it worth it? Sure, definitely, the prices and quality are in line with most expectations I would say. And their specials are totally worth it. Will it win any awards for food? Probably not without some major changes. Will I be going back? Yeah, I can't say no to the craving, or the decor (love it...). And I'm okay with that; sometimes, you just want a cheesesteak and this assuredly fits the bill.

Very good costumer service and friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent. Jeff the Maneger is Awesome. He is been here almost 30 years. Thank for your service I have been coming here since 1997. Food keeps getting better and better.

Service was kind of rude. Pizza is subpar when eaten fresh. When carried out, it's not food anymore.

For my late lunch, I went with a grilled fish sandwich combo, which came with fries and a soda. Overall, I thought my meal was good and decently priced. I think my combo was about $13-15. While it was not the best fish sandwich that I had, I thought it was fine for fast-food type of environment. If I were to do it again, I probably would have gone with fried instead of grill fish. The sandwich was pretty large and came with a generous amount of french fries. Since they make the food to order, there was a little wait of about 15 minutes. However, that was not a problem because the food came out fresh and hot. The two guys at the front counter were pretty friendly, so I have no complaints about service. Although this appears to be more of a take-out establishment, America's Best Wings has a 3-4 small tables. But, most folks (at least during my visit) use those tables to wait for their food. Fortunately for me, there were not too many people waiting for their food, so I could grab a table to eat inside of the restaurant. While I probably would not venture to far to grab something to eat from this America's Best Wings, it is a great option if you are in the area.

It felt a little loud, and also off when there was a whole portion of the restaurant that was empty where they weren't doing trivia! We asked to move and were reseated promptly. I ordered the mussels in a garlic-wine sauce. I knew this could be risky because I wasn't sure that's what they were known for, but took the chance anyway, They came out quickly. The server also brought another bowl for the shells with a small fork and spoon. I tried one that had a broken shell and it tasted...off. Like the mussels weren't fresh off. I tried a bite of bread in the sauce and the sauce tasted like nothing. It was very bad. I flagged over the server, explained what was wrong. She promptly took it away and took it off the bill. She asked what I wanted instead, so I went basic and got the 198 burger. It came out a couple minutes later. The burger itself was really tasty, well cooked and well seasoned. It could have used some additional sauce that wasn't mayo but that's personal preference. It came with fries. They were blah, very soggy and greasy, so they were basically untouched. My advice - go simple, and it'll be fine. I'd go back again for another burger, wings, etc but wouldn't go out on a limb again with something more adventurous.

This is only my 23rd 1-star review and crazy the 2nd business in this shopping center! See my 1-star review of Tropical Smoothie Cafe written last week (updated from my 2023 2-star review) of them. Maybe 1-2 years ago I ordered my food, and then asked for a cup of water. The guy said we have bottled water for sale, and I said no, just a free cup of water with my meal. He said we don't do that here, and told him I'm not giving any money and to cancel my order. I suggested to him that they should start giving courtesy cups of water with meal. A few months ago I was over there, and I wanted to test if Naz's changed a year later. They still didn't. The cashier said that all the Naz's don't offer the courtesy cup except for Columbia location as they had taken over the Halal Guys, which the set up of the restaurant was different for the coke machine. I've considered to try the Columbia location once, but I'm skeptical because it's still Naz's company policy to not offer courtesy cup of water to a paying food customer. It's not just that the Burtonsville only location are being jerks; it's Naz's as a whole. On Sunday, July 13, as a hail mary after the 1-star Burtonsville Tropical Smoothie Cafe right next door (see my recent review) was going to charge me $1.35 per cup of water even though we would've been paying customers. I said to my girlfriend, I'm sure Naz's will deny the water too, but let's test them, and I asked do you give a free cup of water with meal, which cashier once again said no. So, we ended up at ISAAC's across the street. I'll get around to a 5-star review of them in the future. My girlfriend said this shopping center sucks! Only Tropical Smoothie to not give courtesy cup + Naz's right next door. Also, it's the worst Roy Rogers location even though in March 2019, I see I wrote a 4-star review; various more recent experiences warrant 2-star for them if I ever get around to it. And the worst Greene Turtle I've been to; see my 3-star of the Burtonsville location. For good restaurants, go across the street to ISAAC's, Playa Bowl, or even freakin' Chipotle!
