I used to go to this place all the time when I was younger and wanted to return now. I will start this review off by saying that the pizza was still as good as i remember it, unfortunately the other parts of my experience are what brings it down. We ordered garlic knots and a few of them were burned and didn't taste good. In terms of service there wasn't anything bad but nothing anything to write home about. We were one of two tables there and they no longer do it by a waiter, you just order at the front and eventually it is brought to you. They also didn't have any menus on hand outside of the one taped to the front counter. There was a lot of employees on shift but not many of them were doing anything. The ambiance of this place is one that stood out to me as a kid and still has the potential to get back to that spot. This was um....fine? I mean...it wasn't bad, but it wasn't really...good, either. My first impression about the Squisito pizza was that it smelled a little weird. I couldn't put my finger on it, but there was some kind of herb or....licorice-y something that I knew I didn't really like but I couldn't name it. After a slice or two, I started to realize it was the sausage and that I just didn't like sausage. No fault of the restaurant here, but it did affect how I ate the pizza. Once I knew what the smell and taste were that I didn't like, I started to realize that some of the pizza was soggy and cold? I have no idea how this happened since I'm sure the entire pie was in the oven for the same amount of time. My drive home was 5 minutes, maybe--I live super close. So I don't see why the drive home would have made some of it soggy like that. That part was gross to me. Ordering online was fine except that I didn't get a confirmation email or text after I'd ordered, so I had to call the restaurant to make sure they had everything. The restaurant itself was quiet, clean, not too many people in there. The service was good--they handed me my pizza and I left. Pleasant enough experience, but I was in there for less than 2 minutes. The crestini gets smaller every time I get this dish. Today there were three little 1inch squares. Too small by far. Especially for an appetizer with 4 large meatballs. When I first got the appetizer, when they opened, it had three large crestini toast points for sharing and dipping into the sauce. They offered to bring me more today but this is an ongoing issue I want to bring to the owner' attention. Thus the 3 stars. I Just want them to conform to other locations and bring back the toast points. As always the meatballs are excellent. The sauce great. And they do a great side salad. I wish I could recall my tip. This place was not great, food was just ok. I placed an order to go, sat with my son. A person came to me and asked if I had ordered chicken fingers and fries, I said wrong table. He took the order to the correct table. He turned to the people in the kitchen and was smiling and a huge yell out and laughing . Not sure if there was a joke or prank they pulled on him but I didn't need to hear all that. They I hear someone yelling out my name to pick up my order. I get ready to head out, but realize I didn't get my zucchini fries so I asked the person about them and the cook or person behind the counter pointed to them on the other side of the counter (thanks for pointing it out to me, why didn't I get it with my order if you knew they were there. I was walking out and the same loud voice yelled out bye. Then yelled it out a second time, then a female yelled it out. I didn't feel they were worth my good bye. I was just thankful I was not eating there, I can't imagine how bad it would be there, I am sure like some preteen daycare. read more

Visited the restaurant after over a year (past visits at 2 other locations - the first at this location) and encountered a few UNFORTUNATE surprises. The staff (a kind young lady, working alone at the front counter) was attentive, modifying my order (I requested Alfredo vs rose cream sauce) without hesitation, and as I hadn't visited the restaurant in so long, I was pleasantly surprised of a $10 discount (rewards program). However, the joy faded when I noticed a strong crabmeat scent during the drive home. The odor was so strong that I had to ride with the windows down. Arriving home (nearly :30 miles away), opening the bag revealed an unexpected presentation - crab leg meat instead of the usual lump crab. In all my years of eating crab Alfredo, this was indeed a first!! I was so disappointed and flabbergasted that I stirred the contents hoping my eyes were deceiving me and somehow there was limp underneath the perceived legs; not to mention, I was hopeful the smell would dissipate. Neither occurred. I closed the container and threw it out as there was no way I could eat it. This post isn't to criticize but to suggest transparency for patrons. Crab leg meat does not complement Alfredo or vodka base sauces, and clarity on the menu could avoid such surprises. I'm still trying to decide if I will contact the restaurant as I'm not often in the area and getting a replacement order is unlikely because of this. UPDATE: I decided to call and let the management know and the manager, Missy (sp) graciously apologized and refunded my pasta. She acknowledged the crabmeat was canned. I'll leave it there. When you order a pepperoni slice, they add fresh pepperoni to a cheese pizza that has been sitting for a while. If you want fresh slices this is not the place to go. Those were the worst slices that I have ever had there. I also notice that the ladies were watching me look in my box. So they knew that they were giving me jacked up slices. My family has been eating here since they opened. I always used to get the rolled eggplant and was disappointed that it no longer seems to be on the menu. Instead, I decided to get a chicken, mushroom, whole wheat pasta dish I saw on their online menu. When I arrived, I noticed that it wasn't on their printed menu. Luckily, the girl taking my order said they could still make it. It was under "healthy" options but I have to wonder how healthy it really is given the portion size and amount of oil used. I'm by no means complaining about the portion, as it fed me for two meals. It just wasn't what I was expecting. The pasta sauce was tasty with chunks of mushroom. The chicken was dry. I then got the gnocchi and tortellini soup to go. The soup is tasty but tastes just like their marinara with some cream added. I had to chuckle. The gnocchi was pretty good too. I'm disappointed by the bread served on the side. I think it's trying to be garlic bread but it's more a slice of bread with melted butter. A little more seasoning/parmesan would do wonders. My parents enjoyed their massive veggie calzone and chicken cheesesteak. I will say that the food came out fast and hot, just like it always has. read more

I have had some trouble finding good pizza near me. The one place I did like was taken over by another franchise. But I think I have finally found the one! I ordered a 16 in pepperoni pizza. It was so good! It was the perfect amount of sauce and very cheesy. I do wish they were a little more generous with the pepperoni, though. The crust was soft, but still had a bit of a bite to it. We used Squisito catering for a local high school staff appreciation event. We worked with Chris who was fantastic! We needed the food early in the day and Chris was able to accommodate the early pick up time and very large order. The food was ready on time and stayed hot for the duration of the event! The food was delicious and appreciated by everyone. Squisito's was also able to provide separate gluten free pasta dishes for those with dietary restrictions. I met my friend for lunch and we enjoyed veal parmigiana. You order at the counter and then take a seat and a server will bring your food to your table. I was happy to see that they offer veggies instead of pasta. I think the mixed veggies were amazing! The veal was a little tough but the cheese and sauce were good. I would come again. read more

For our latest carryout visit, we bought a grande Chicken Parmesan for $13.99 and a grande Penne Carbonara for $4.99 (regular price $12.99). Both came with 2 slices of garlic bread, but more should be provided. The entrees were large and delicious that they could feed up to 4 people. Our order was ready for pickup in 30 minutes. Came here on a Friday evening. The concept i got from this place was a "fast food version of An Italian restaurant. The service was nice and courteous. The decor tries to give that authentic Italian experience but is thrown off by the "creedence and classic rock" soundtrack. The host was like "heres a menu find a seat and then let the cashier know what you want" . Place your order, your given a number and food arrives shortly. The price was reasonable. The food was well presented but was not well seasoned well give it a lack of flavor. Dont expect a server to come with crushed pepper shaker. I will come back to give another review. read more

We shared a medium plate of their spaghetti with meat sauce, because we knew it might be a large portion- It was delicious and satisfying. I love their sauce. We also got the house salad, which was excellent. They are set up for carry out as well as dining in. I like pizza that's not to think and pizza where the makers of my pie aren't stingy with the sauce (LOL)...here my pizzas been perfect. The Greek salad was also fresh and delicious. With a more recent visit I opted for the pasta ala vodka with added shrimp and spinach minus the ham and I think that's become my favorite because all I can think about is when my next visit is going to be! The chicken is seasoned and grilled okay which is why I'm giving it two stars. Otherwise the Alfredo sauce isn't that good. The noodles are mush.
