Worst Service Experience Imaginable - Beware the Service Department!…read more​I purchased a used 2016 Silverado from Heidenbreicht Chevrolet and had a great experience with the sales team. However, the service department has been a complete nightmare, and I urge anyone considering buying a vehicle here, especially a used one, to proceed with extreme caution. ​Within one month of purchase, while the truck was under full warranty, I brought it in for issues with hard shifting and transmission hesitation. ​Initial Refusal: Over the course of three separate visits, the service department insisted there was "nothing wrong" with the truck, despite my clear and repeated concerns. The staff was rude, dismissive, and demeaning, making me feel like my concerns were invalid. ​Management Intervention: I had to escalate the issue to management before they finally agreed to investigate. They eventually replaced the transmission wiring harness, assuring me the problem was solved. I immediately informed them that the issue was not fixed, but they swore it was fine and sent me on my way. ​Now, shortly after the warranty has expired, my truck has major transmission failure. I am left with a large repair bill and several years of payments remaining on a defective vehicle. ​Had the Heidebreicht Chevrolet service department simply done their job and properly diagnosed and fixed the transmission when I first brought it in--repeatedly--the repair would have been 100% covered under warranty. ​Instead, the only "solution" offered by Marissa was a measly $1,000 off a repair that is now going to cost thousands out of my own pocket. This offer is insulting and shows a complete lack of accountability for their negligence. ​In summary: The sales process was fine, but the service department is dishonest, incompetent, and unprofessional. They actively ignored a major problem while the truck was under warranty, resulting in significant financial damage to me. Do not trust their service department.

There it was- Lost Communication With Engine Coolant Pump Control Module and my emission status now says yellow, whereas before this accident, it was green. Of course they said it was my fault. No emission light came while they were running the codes. I find that extremely hard to believe. Take it or leave it as far the service center goes, I am just stating my own experience.

Everything went smooth as silk. Gary made sure all our questions were answered and did so happily as if we were family. He got us expensive hand picked seat covers that my wife adores. He brought us back in 3 days later, because our jeep was used with a couple paint chips, and had the chips repainted like new. One of the door lock mechanisms came loose and he fixed and replaced the part immediately. The 2023 QX60 they had for sale was still undergoing detailing when I was sent to the buying center for my trade-in appraisal. Prior to visiting the center, I stopped by INFINITI of Troy and had a "perfect" inspection of my old QX70, with no issues identified. I also uploaded detailed information, along with photos, to the City of Cars website for appraisal and received an official email with estimates ranging from $8,307 (needs work) to $9,208 (average) and $10,110 (excellent). A week before, I had received a written offer for my QX70 from another INFINITI dealership for $8,460. However, when City of Cars took my car for a test drive and confirmed its excellent condition, I was shocked and disappointed by their lowball offer of only $6,000. They attempted to play the "today only" offer of $6,500, but I quickly realized I was dealing with crooks. I then drove 30 miles northeast and not only purchased a gorgeous 2023 QX60 for a very competitive price--about $2,000 less than what was advertised by City of Cars--but also received $9,400 for my trade-in. My strong advice is to stay away from this dealership and do some shopping around with more honest and competitive options.
