This Jiffy Lube is an absolute nightmare. Last year they put the wrong oil thickness in my car, which forced me to go back FOUR times plus drive all the way to my dealer in Irvine. Only after all that hassle did they promise me a free oil change to make up for their mistake. Jose and Adrian both told me it was noted on my profile. Fast forward to now I show up to redeem that free oil change, show them photos proving I was there, and they still claim they "don't see it in the system" and refuse to honor it. I even left work early twice (which cost me money) to try to get this resolved. One of those times, they told me they close at 6 p.m., but when I arrive at 5:50 p.m. they said "oh no, we actually cut off at 5:45." Another wasted trip. This place lies to customers, does sloppy work, and then refuses to take responsibility. They wasted my time, my money, and my patience. I got here real early in the morning And right away I was greeted and helped with my vehicle. I intended on only getting an oil change this morning and while they were checking my car I was told multiple things that needed work. My air filters were long overdue and I was also informed my brakes needed changing. Even though I was on a budget they have great customer service here i made sure I got my air filters changed since it was brought up to my attention. Oil change & filter change, cabin air filter change It all went great, drove up before 4pm on a Friday, no line, drove right in, I had brought my own synthetic oil (7ish quarts) , oil filter and cabin air filter also from the dealership. They gave me a big discount for bringing my own items. They charged $15 additional to install the extra cabin air filter that I requested. Took my car a few months back because my car was in need of an emergency oil change because my oil life and quality was at -310 so i took it in to this location. They did the job well but now I'm trying to change my oil and they went way past the factory torque spec (which is 29.5) on my oil drain plug and now it's seized. My gut is telling me they used a 1/2 inch torque driver instead of a torque wrench to torque it to spec. read more

First, I'm always pleased to see women in career spaces that have been traditionally dominated by men. There was something empowering about the thought of a woman performing my oil change and it would have been a first but... I periodically visit this shop over the past 5 years when I don't have time or cant get an appointment at my dealership. Right now my oil changes are covered by the dealer warranty but that ends soon. Had it not been for this unpleasant interaction I would have been coming here regularly in the future for my oil changes due to the convience of location. After getting my info mileage etc, she walked away then came back and said, "Just so you know the prices for this type of oil change have gone up to $120." I was a bit surprised because I had gotten a mail ad about a special they were running on synthetic oil that was going to be around $80. I usually pay around $90 here. When I mentioned the ad, she glared at me annoyed then said, "I don't make the prices." Then glared at me again. Mind you, I hadn't even mentioned the $20 off coupon for checking in on YELP. I politely looked her in her glaring eyes and said, " I know you don't make the prices, I just said I got an advertisement in the mail about a special," she continued to glare so I said "No thanks, .have a nice day." If you don't feel like doing another oil change today, just say that. I left right then because I instantly remembered a Pop and daughter spot I'd gone to for tires in Culver City that not only had reasonable prices, but kind and courteous service. The customer service was actually awesome when I brought my car in for a Water Pump replacement. After under a year my water pump failed, I took my car to a mechanic and he said the pump had no brand, and it shouldn't have failed I. Less than a year. I tried calling jiffy line warranty and they said this store was not registered under them. Odd I have been calling for a week now trying to get a manager on the phone to talk about the part and warranty to no avail. Fantastic, over-the-top great customer service from the team at this Jiffy Lube today! My car was towed/impounded from a parking lot after the battery went so dead it couldn't be jumped, and ended up at the tow yard across the street. The towing company people were no help at all- after I paid to get it out of impound, they dumped it in the red zone out front- wouldn't even take it across the street to where I could get a battery. The team that was there today- I can't remember all three of their names- helped me get the car over to them and replaced the battery in minutes. I am so grateful that they went above and beyond to help me out. They made my day! read more

This place tried to scam me out of $800. They showed me what was "wrong" with my brake system on my rear wheel and quoted me $800 to replace the parts for not only the side it was messed up on, but the opposite-end because it's better to have a suit of newer parts compared to only one side. I was also told that I should not drive my car because it was extremely dangerous to do so or otherwise my brakes wouldn't be able to work if I tried to brake when needed. So, I took my car two two other places to make sure if my car needed any replacements in that area, and both mechanics said they didn't see anything that needed replacements. Make sure to always get quoted elsewhere before deciding to simply say "yes" and outright pay for a service regarding your vehicle. These people gave me anxiety driving my car for almost a week.
