Only be overwhelmed by FB rants of Jeff's, here we are. Here are the points.. Building? It is very nice, and still nice and clean. They optimized space the best they can, but the lobby can be crowded really fast. The line is kind of odd, one end you have signage for where line starts but some customers get confused when its packed and start a line at the other register. Donuts for the most part are nicely displayed with good signage. Only a couple "specials" did not detail innards of donut. Personal preference review. I like their donuts, of the ones i managed to eat without sugar overdose (as donuts do to me). The innards are soft, moist and more bready variety. My husband says they are good but too "bready" for him. I thought they were good and do prefer it. There are some nice standard choices as well as seasonals! First impressions were not great because the manager/person in charge had an attitude. Making snarky comments when a customer is being polite and courteous is not cool. We ordered a couple cinnamon twists, a glazed raised, an orange bar, and a banana cream filled donut. All of the donuts are made from a yeast dough (raised donuts). So no cake, cruller, buttermilk, or old fashioned donuts here. The first one I tried was the orange bar. It was sickenly sweet and doughy. I couldn't taste any orange in the icing, just sugar. My hubby took a bite and he had the same reaction. It was so awful it got thrown in the trash. The banana cream filled was also sickenly sweet, but I didn't mind the banana pudding (it was like jello instant pudding). It was too sweet to have more than a couple bites though. My hubby said the glazed donut was ok at first, but too sweet. The cinnamon twist was the best of them, as it was covered in cinnamon sugar instead of glaze. There was a quality difference between the two we got though. His was soft and fresh, and mine was dry. It was not a traditional cinnamon twist with cinnamon braided into the dough. The cinnamon was just in the cinnamon sugar. I'd been hearing great things about Jeff's Donuts, so this was all around disappointing. Definitely not worth the trip. read more

Nearby and had heard all the hype. Tried to go at an off time. 10am on a Thursday, still a line, but moving quickly. We got a half dozen, and everything they had looked good. So far I've had a banana cream and the kid had an Oreo longjohn. Both very tasty. Definitely in the Krispy Kreme light and fluffy style, not my favorite; I prefer more dense and cakey. But well-done in that style: fresh, airy, good fillings and toppings. Service was hectic but friendly and fast. Prices are a little high but what isn't nowadays, and the donuts are big and tasty. The place is tiny, which is part of the bottleneck. Once things calm down a little more it will be just fine. 24-hour anything is always a plus, more so for me when I was working nights than now. It's in the mall with Scramblers so both could get nuts at similar times. Lot is big though. read more

I decided to be the cool mom and woke my teenager up at 3 AM to take a trip to Jeff's Donuts! It's nice that they're open 24 hours The service was prompt and the individual who assisted us was friendly and made helpful suggestions. We got the honey bun, traditional glazed, a raspberry filled powdered sugar, and a frosted sprinkle donut. The honey bun and the traditional glazed had just come out the fryer and were warm! What a treat. The honey bun was my favorite, pillowy soft with the right amount of glaze. My daughter said the frosting on the sprinkle donut was overwhelming and extremely sweet. The texture of the donuts were perfect and they are large in size. Each donut is $2.75 which feels fair for as large as they are. I'd go back for a late night treat for sure. read more

I'd been hearing all the buzz about Jeff's Doughnuts opening near New Albany on July 6, so today my wife and I finally made the trip to see what all the excitement was about. When we arrived, they were fairly busy, but the line moved quickly and efficiently. As we got closer to the display case, all I could think was, these doughnuts look incredible! They specialize in oversized Long Johns with all kinds of unique frostings and toppings, and every single one looked tempting. My wife chose the chopped peanut-topped Long John, while I decided to try something I'd never had before--a blueberry-frosted Long John. I'm glad I did! The dough was incredibly fresh, the filling was light and creamy, and the blueberry frosting was refreshing and full of flavor without being overly sweet. It was one of those doughnuts where every bite was just as good as the first. My wife really enjoyed hers too. Since they're newly opened, they had some corporate trainers on site. The friendly woman who helped us was from Tennessee, and her Southern accent made the experience even more enjoyable. She was genuinely welcoming, patient, and provided excellent customer service. If Jeff's Doughnuts were closer to where we live, I'd probably be there way more often than I should be! They make great doughnuts the right way, with fresh ingredients, creative flavors, and friendly service. My friend really wanted to try this place out so we walked here one evening. It was a Thursday evening around 7 and the place was packed! It smelled so good inside. It didn't take too long for us to get to order and the staff was very efficient with getting our order together. Although I've only been to this location before they *officially* opened, I gotta say these donuts are fireeeee. We visited this location on a day prior to their grand opening, so we got 4 free donuts! They didn't have every option available, but I was still impressed with how much they did have. My unpopular opinion is that filled donuts are too much of a good thing, so I was very excited to find out that unfilled Long Johns was an option!! The Blueberry Long John was BUSSIN'. The icing was unlike any donut I've had before. Idk how they did it, but the blueberry flavor was excellent. No fake flavor profile. Every donut we picked was delicious. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Honeymooner just had a scoop of plain peanut butter in the center, which did bum me a bit. I was hoping for a house-made peanut butter cream. I stopped by Jeff's Donuts and was really impressed with the quality of the donuts. They were fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they're made with care, and I'd definitely come back for the taste alone. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that they were out of about half of the donut selection when I visited. Since they're open 24 hours, I was expecting a little better availability. Hopefully it was just an unusually busy day. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great experience. They do have a small seating area inside, but it's pretty limited, so this is definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of place. Unpopular opinion: I don't get the hype. The donuts are trying to be a modern version of traditional donuts and my group agrees they were just okay. Too fluffy, not enough texture to the dough. The whipped icing and cream inside is just not my favorite. The shop is small with one door so gets crowded fast. They were out of chocolate milk and the workers were trying to take our order before we could even see the donuts in the case and maybe trying to be too fast to get people in and out. I prefer traditional donuts or just completely different, like Parlor. We will probably stick to Reschs bakery in the Gahanna area. read more

First night open (7/6/26). Went at 10:30pm. I am not a doughnut person at all but wanted to know what the attention was all about. They were only out of 2 or 3 kinds. Nicely stocked. Most of them are stuffed with that white cream filling which I'm not a fan of but the lady informed me that if I wanted a certain filling on a different donut, that they could do that! Aside from that, the others seemed to be stuffed with yellow custard, jelly or none at all like the buns & apple fritters. The donut holes were amazing. Seriously some of the best I've ever had. Makes me hopeful for a regular glazed in the future. I had forgotten to order some before paying & when I inquired about them & how sorry I was to have to scan my card again she so kindly threw a handful in my bag. Not only did this show excellent customer service but it also showed me what my new favorite kind is. They even tasted amazing 3 days later right out of the fridge! I also got a jelly stuffed one w/ powdered sugar in the outside-amazing!!! And a banana pudding one which I didn't care much for. I am so happy to report that they are STUFFED!! The donut dough is sooo fluffy & somehow moist, which I've never described a donut as such. The place is clean & well-stocked. And the service is great. The shop is small and clean. The donut display was attractive with all of the different varieties. Donuts are large but for a dozen is over $30. Which made me think on how did we get to the point where a dozen donuts cost $30! I understand the economy and inflation . My daughter didn't like her vanilla long John. I tried both maple and vanilla and they were good. I had a glazed donut which didn't taste that fresh. The cinnamon sugar twist was excellent. Will I return? The parking lot can get full if on the weekend since they share a lot with the breakfast spot, Scramblers. Upon walking in, the staff greeted me with excitement. The shop smelled delightful. They had plenty of donuts in all varieties. Limited editions to classic glazed. I picked up a dozen for the office and it came in a large sturdy box. I picked up a few extra to take home to share with the family too. They have smaller boxes and bags of you just want one or two. The donuts are huge and definitely priced that way too. Be ready to pay over $2 a donut. It doesn't seem like a lot but these donuts are a treat rather than a regular occurrence. Baked with quality and made with love. Beautiful donuts too perfect you don't want to eat. I had a few bites of the cherry topped donut and got a sugar rush. Jeff's donuts met expectations. They were fully stocked, so no issues with not getting the one I wanted. I was getting a dozen. I chose 8 then was uncertain, so I asked them to finish for me. Took them to a ladies group where we cut them so we could try several different kinds. I thought, based on reviews, the blueberry would be my favorite but there were others i preferred. There were only two people ahead of me, and it went quickly. Everything was clean, the employee was pleasant and helpful, balancing moving people through with caring for the customer. Service is fantastic, however the donuts are not. The dough on the yeast raised did not have any flavor and did not have a little bit of crispness as it should. The apple fritter was soggy and had maybe one piece of apple. The cake donut was also soggy and lacked flavor aside from sugar. The frosting on the long John belongs on a cake however the filing was unique and tasty aside from being way too sweet. If you're looking for the best cake donuts in Ohio try Mama C's in Maumee. There's a great place in Akron as well and an excellent bakery in Cincinnati too. This one will be a big skip. read more

With that said, I understand that this is a new location and perhaps it will take sime time to work out the kinks... they had a steady flow of customers, nice new shop. We made do with what was available, so far we have had an apple fritter and a glazed donut. They were both fresh and the husband said it was a top notch glazed donut but he was disappointed they didn't have most of the donuts he prefers.
