The Italian ice here is good and has a distinct flavor and consistency to Jeremiah. I often find myself trying the new flavor combinations and profiles they have to offer. This was my first time trying Jeremiah's. You go up to the window and order. There's seating around the corner (about 3 tables and a bench). The guy at the window took my order and it came out probably 30 seconds afterward! Excellent service. I think the concept is interesting -- what I got was Italian ice and ice cream mixed together. The texture kind of took a second for me to get used to. The peanut butter flavor was pretty strong, and the chocolate ice cream was yummy! It was dripping all over the place, so I think it would've been nice to have the small portion in a medium sized cup. When I got to the bottom, it was all just chocolate chips. I went on a Friday night, and there was a pretty long line, but the wait was pretty short. When I got the window, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of flavors. They were really nice in letting me try a few flavors. I settled on mango and passion fruit layered with soft served ice cream. I'm not sure if the batch was a little off for the mango, but the flavor was very light and didn't have that mango punch I was looking for. Hubby placed an order For 3 ices and attempted to pay and was refused because he was paying with a $100. bill. he was told they only take $20s Cash is cash and there's such a thing as pens or lights that detect counterfeit, if that was even their concern. Oldest treated us to ice cream after we looked at houses with her. I really didn't want a slush or and was surprised to know you could get a soft serve cone. Gelati (at least according to store description) is Italian ice layered with your choice of vanilla/chocolate/swirl ice cream (almost custard?) and this combination is absolutely delicious. They have a good variety of Italian ice flavors including both classic fruity varieties and others such as cookie butter/cookies n cream/ peanut butter etc. I'm told that their Italian ice flavors rotate so they may have some new goodies in the future. They have a ton of great flavors that range from fruity, so decadent, coffee, to chocolate, and you can mix and match however you want. Some are more refreshing and icy. Jeremiah's is such a gem! I friend turned me on to them when I first moved to Florida. Now when I am in the area on hot days like Saturday I stop by. I am assuming everyone had the same idea as well as there was a line going toward the street. The menu they offer provides a variety of options and I was unsure if I wanted to go with a refreshing flavor or a sweet treat which is why I love that you can try samplings. Yesterday afternoon it was a balmy 62 degrees so what a better way to cool off and eat ice cream outside. I have to admit the brain freeze isn't as bad in colder weather. Seriously though my 3 year old loved Jeremiahs Gelati; she had the strawberry Italian ice with vanilla ice cream while I enjoyed a chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream cone. This place is seriously the bomb. GO- you won't regret it. Satisfy that sweet tooth! Upon arriving, Staff is very helpful and asks if you have been there before. If you haven't they take the time to explain the menu and how it works. It's just a service window in the wall- no interior and a few seats outside to sit at, with a bathroom accessible from outside. They offer lots of flavors of Italian ice (30 plus ranging from mint to mango to cotton candy to cookies and creme) as well as soft serve ice cream in chocolate and vanilla. You can get them stacked together in what they call a "gelati" like we did. I wasn't sure how that would taste but it is so delicious. Hard to describe so you just have to go and test it out for yourself. The soft serve itself is the most creamy I've ever had. This is our go to spot and we will be back again and again. read more

They also have what they call a "Gelati" which combines Italian ice AND soft serve ice cream into a tasty treat! The soft serve comes in chocolate or vanilla and the Italian ice comes in over 40 flavors. You can pick how you want to combine them or they have a popular menu list up front. The staff here is super nice and will explain the menu if it's you're first time. (Which I love! Everyone now-a-days just assumes you've been there before.) We got cookies & cream and the p-nutty. There's several sizes to choose from but don't underestimate it. The small is definitely enough for one or even two people!
