If a good, old fashioned greasy spoon diner is something you admire and love, as I do. Jeremy's is well worth a visit. This place does comfort food right. Chicken fried steak is a meal I order when I am at a new place and I want to see if they know what they are doing. Jeremy's nailed it. Never in my life has this happened to me but I have to share this experience because it did. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE! I arrived at the diner to sit at the booth and the waitress who very kindly got me coffee and took my ordered. I was trying to find item posted on their Yelp menu be the good items were not on their menu when I look. So I ordered this item called Everything Italian or something like that. When it got to me it just looked like a sloppy mess but I was extremely hungry and I ordered half order of biscuit and gravy. Now the biscuits and gravy was okay but that wasn't the problem. It was the short Mexican bus boy who kept pouring me coffee and water after the waitress already filled both cups. He did it once with the water but took my cup away to bring to the beverage machine which I thought was odd because the waitress used the pitcher. Then what was really weird he took a 1/2 cup measuring cup and just poured whatever was in the measuring cup into My water glass; which didn't even fill my cup. ???? I thought it was weird so I asked him , " What was that Water?" he said "Yes water!" I didn't trust him at this point so I left my coffee and water alone; Then asked the waitress to change my water with lemon. She brought it. Then I told her what he did and we both agreed that was really weird. She even made a weird face but didn't ask me why? I looked at the rest of my food and just got nausea from the whole experience so I kindly asked for a to go cause I paid for it and didn't finish. Left a two dollar tip and got the hell out there, thank the older lady server outside waiting tables. Once I got home to a Zoom meeting after getting my keys to my new property I started to feel very drowsy and slow talking. In fact I ever fell asleep for few seconds before I notice something wasn't right with me. So I took Pepto and my vitamins to over come the drugged out feeling, but I knew something was very strange with my sudden off-set behavior. I ended the meeting in a half hour because I wanted to take a nap so bad. Then I called out of work for a later shift but I had to write this review to warning customers. I know I'm not crazy but I couldn't believe this happened to me. I don't care why others rated this place so high, but does not deserve a 4.0 I remember throwing out the food before going inside my home due to thinking, it wouldn't be a good idea to eat that and it wasn't very appealing to begin with. I don't know what type of situation they allow there but having that bus boy pour water and coffee while he's covered in dirty dishes on his hands and fingers is not smart idea. I'm really thinking of going back to the place tomorrow to place a police report. read more

I've always been wanting to try Jeremy's and I finally came to try. I was a lil taken aback with the prices but then I got my breakfast burrito and it was GIGANTIC! From the refillable coffee that kept coming to the incredible food, it was everything we hoped for and more. We ordered the full stack of pancakes--easily one of the best I've ever had. We also tried the biscuits and gravy plate, which came with eggs and bacon. Every bite was a treat! The service was fantastic, too. The staff went above and beyond by splitting our plates without us even asking. Uggg I hate giving bad reviews. I've been coming to Jeremy's for years and this is the first time I had a waitress forget a customer (me) while waiting outside. I went to Jeremy's Coffee Shop around 11:30am today with my pup. They weren't that busy. No body outside except me. I waited outside for the waitress to come take my order. After waiting for about 10 mins, I had to let the waitress know I was waiting outside. She finally comes and takes my order and offers to bring me a cup of coffee while I wait, and to bring my pup some water. After waiting 30-35 minutes I decide to see what's taking so long. The Bus Boy comes outside to say hello to my pup. He asked me if I was waiting on an order and I said "yes". He says "I'm so sorry, your order has been ready and waiting". He goes inside and brings my order and the check. I told him I also ordered 2 coffees and OJ. The waitress finally comes out and brings my coffee and OJ (HALF FULL). I give the Bus Boy money for my food and gave him the tip. Not to mention the waitress never brought my pup water to drink. I found out that the waitress Elle (who was THE BEST) no longer works there. This new waitress isn't cutting it. If it wasn't for the Bus Boy Alex (I think that's his name), and his love for dogs, I'd still be waiting for my order. read more

Love breakfast in neighborhood places and Jeremy's is no exception. Pretty popular in the area. Funky interior and warm, neighborly service. I could say this place is used to travelers eating here. My first time here was in 2014, with my stepfather. I've returned 4 times since; with my stepdad now long gone, everytime my travel takes me to the area. I am a little confused with the internet listing because it shows a Glendale, CA address but it actually is in La Crescenta, CA--a charming sort of upscale neighborhood. On my recent visit, I ordered pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, and an Avocado Omelet. Not outstanding but good enough not to be horrible or a disappointment. I think what makes this place click is the overall experience. If I wanted great food to my liking, I would make my own breakfast (lol). I like the homey, old town, welcoming vibe of this place and being a traveler, it felt familiar. I always have a good experience here. read more

Great cozy local spot for breakfast that I've been meaning to check out. Thankfully had a day off and actually woke up early enough to give it a try. There is a small parking lot adjacent, but street parking isn't too difficult. I grabbed a seat at the counter and was offered some fresh coffee, which helped me perk up as I perused the menu. I opted for the avocado omelette with English muffin and added a side of sausages. After my order was put it, I didn't have to wait too long and got my food. I was surprised at how generous the portions were from the omelette to the hash browns. It definitely was a ton of food that I could have probably split into two meals. Service was on point and refills were taken care of without me saying a word! Love that. Definitely gonna have to make this one of my regular spots for breakfast! read more

From the moment she greeted us, she had the kind of energy that instantly makes you feel welcome and cared for. Whats more is Elle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! She checked in at all the right times, kept our coffee full, and made great recommendations from the menu (the kielbasa omelet and sourdough toast have always been a favorite of mine!). But the best part? She hands out stickers! Such a fun, thoughtful touch that completely made my day. It's little details like that which make the experience memorable and personal. Food is put together sloppy. Eggshells in the food. Burnt and undercooked potatoes at the same time. Super runny eggs. They forgot the hashbrowns to one meal. They have lots of terrific traditional breakfast options including huge fluffy pancakes, biscuits and gravy, plus your basic bacon and eggs with hash browns options and more. But for me the reason I keep coming back here is their Eggs Benedict, for my money this is one of the very best I've had anywhere. It's not some super fancy version you find at your trendy places with crab cakes or all that jazz, but as a straight up traditional Benny it's hard to beat. Service is always good here, they have had mostly the same staff for many years. They do a nice job. My dad loves to eat here when he's in town too so that's a positive point from me. read more

Our main brunch spot. The food is always great, and there is a lot of variety on the menu. I'm stuck on their 2 x 2 x 2 (2 eggs, two slices of bacon and 2 pancakes)‼. Always morning satisfaction, & the omelets are a nice change of pace and then you have plain and or, wild waffles- if you want some real variety. Stick to the basics and this place is not bad for breakfast. Don't expect creative twist on pancakes or waffles, no fancy omellets or benedicts either, no homemade jams or fresh squeeze juices. Nothing fancy is what am trying to say. I like this little mom n pop breakfast place, it's simple. If anything they make great corn beef hash (fresh) and country fried steak.
