Everyone and anyone living in La Crescenta or Montrose knows this spot. Classic breakfast diner. Great food and service. Gets pretty busy in the early mornings.

Huevos Rancheros and scrambled eggs, pancakes, and sausage. This place rocks!

If you like a classic comfy diner, then this is the spot for you! Super kind staff, perfect diner food, and walls lined with license plates! I'd get a divorce, just so my wife and I could get re-married in Jeremy's.

Full stack pancakes + biscuits & gravy plate split into two! They're amazing!

Jeremy's Coffee Shop is a hidden gem! It's a super cute, old-school diner that instantly feels warm and welcoming. From the refillable coffee that kept coming to the incredible food, it was everything we hoped for and more. We ordered the full stack of pancakes--easily one of the best I've ever had. We also tried the biscuits and gravy plate, which came with eggs and bacon. Every bite was a treat! The service was fantastic, too. The staff went above and beyond by splitting our plates without us even asking. I was honestly hesitant to write this review because I selfishly want to keep this spot to myself, but it would be a disservice not to share. If you're looking for great food, great service, and an authentic diner experience, Jeremy's is a must-visit! Can't wait to come back soon!

Let me tell you about this place. First off when you walk in and they have license plates on the wall you know it's about to go down. I went specifically for the Pancakes and they did not disappoint. I asked about before I ordered and Kelly told me that they were the best. She told no lies at all. Pancakes were big fluffy and amazing. Food came out quick and I ate them quick. I told Kelly that I would tell my mom about them and that I will be back soon. This place has the old school diner vibe and the food lived up to the pictures that I saw.

    Our charming waitress Kelly!

Very cute place away from the hustle and bustle! Charming old school atmosphere and very generous portions!

Love breakfast in neighborhood places and Jeremy's is no exception. Pretty popular in the area. Funky interior and warm, neighborly service. I could say this place is used to travelers eating here. My first time here was in 2014, with my stepfather. I've returned 4 times since; with my stepdad now long gone, everytime my travel takes me to the area. I am a little confused with the internet listing because it shows a Glendale, CA address but it actually is in La Crescenta, CA--a charming sort of upscale neighborhood. On my recent visit, I ordered pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, and an Avocado Omelet. Not outstanding but good enough not to be horrible or a disappointment. I think what makes this place click is the overall experience. If I wanted great food to my liking, I would make my own breakfast (lol). I like the homey, old town, welcoming vibe of this place and being a traveler, it felt familiar. I always have a good experience here.

But I couldn't help but notice a recent review describing an interaction that I personally witnessed while I was there, and I wanted to add what I saw as an outside observer so there's a little more context to what happened. A couple asked the host for an extra chair, which she brought over, I assume thinking it was for a bag or personal belongings. They ended up putting their dog on the chair. A manager later came over and asked them to put the dog on the floor, and that's when the couple became upset and began arguing with the manager, basically yelling. What stood out to me was that as they were leaving, the woman stopped at the host stand, asked the host her name, started yelling the name out loud and then walked out. I'm not involved with either side and can only speak to what I personally saw, but I felt the interaction deserved a little more context rather than being presented entirely one-sided. My own experience at Black Cow was very positive. However the shrieking customers I can do without.

Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café…read more Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café reminded me that we live for the wonderful experiences that remain to be discovered. After a wonderful lunch date with my wife at Raffi's Place (please read my review and thank me later) in Glendale, I decided to look for the perfect dessert. After scouting several nearby locations, I decided I was in the mood for a great cinnamon roll. Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café looked like the place that would deliver the experience I was seeking. SDLBC is listed as being in Glendale, but it's located in the historic Old Town of Montrose. That's beside the point; I only mention it because there are additional places to explore just up the street. We arrived around 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and there wasn't much of a selection left, including the highly sought-after cinnamon roll. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us warmly, and I immediately asked if that was all the pastries they had. He said yes. I contemplated leaving because of the nonexistent cinnamon roll, but I didn't want to be rude, so I decided to give the bakery a try since we were already there. So, we basically took half of what remained behind the glass display case: a Peach Almond Croissant, a Raspberry Pistachio Croissant, an Almond Croissant, and then my curiosity focused on a few lonely-looking pastries that were unfamiliar to my discerning eyes. I asked the gentleman what they were, and he replied with something that sounded completely foreign to me: Kouign-Amann. Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen ah-MAHN) is a traditional pastry from the region of Brittany, France. It is often considered one of the richest pastries in the world because it is made with just a few simple ingredients in generous proportions: bread dough, butter, and sugar. Figuring we needed a few more sweets for the road, we took all the remaining Kouign-Amanns. Two were the traditional version, and the other two were filled with crème and blueberry jam. We also ordered a Café Americano and a Café Mocha. While we waited for our drinks, I simply couldn't wait any longer. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I eagerly opened my gift and dug right into the Kouign-Amann. Hesitantly, I tore off a tiny piece with my fingers, expecting nothing extraordinary, and instantly gave birth to a brand-new experience that exploded in my mouth. The crisp exterior gave way to the soft, flaky center, followed by waves of what tasted like delicate honey. I tore off another piece and shared it with my wife. One look at her eyes told me she wanted more. By the time our drinks were ready, we had devoured one of the Kouign-Amanns and confessed to the gentleman behind the counter that we had just experienced pure ecstasy in the form of a pastry. Kouign-Amann is, in fact, one of the richest pastries in the world, so don't let the unfamiliar name keep you from trying one. The Café Americano and the Café Mocha were also exceptionally well prepared. With everything that's happening in the world these days, a simple yet profound experience like this reminded me how wonderful life can still be. Like Arnold said... "I'll be back." Enjoy!

The croissant selection is incredible. I love the indoor seating, but they also have outdoor seating. I washed it down with a short Americano, two shots and I threw in some extra cream. I have to tell you this chocolate mousse cake is the right portion otherwise I would eat the whole thing in this case the powers that be more wise and gave me a slice and Man was it delicious.
