If you want to get the full Jamaican experience then this is a place you should visit. Food is ok, minus the fact that we asked for white rice and they confirmed the order but still gave us red beans and rice. The ambiance is basic and the server/cashier was perfectly rude. Oh and if you saw on their website that you get a "free soda" when you order a large plate, let me save you the trouble of asking, the exact words of the server/cashier were "no, that's not right". But you can still get a canned soda for $2. And as expensive as the plate were you'd think it'll come with a free drink or water at least sheesh! I did a timeshare tour and was given a restaurant.com card for food which is really something that is not free you have to pay to receive a discount. That's a story for another day. Best Jamaican Food in Las Vegas. Found this place after looking at Yelp's List of Black Owned Businesses. I have been looking for a good Jamaican Resturant and I finally found JERK DAT. The staff is friendly, the have nice decor and the food is delicious. We ordered the oxtail with rice and peas, Curry Goat with white rice and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas. The prices are reasonable we paid $41 for 3 meals and the portions were big. We ordered takeout but they do have tables set up to dine in. Parking is available right in the front of the Resturant. They sell beef patty which are one of my personal favorites but I will try those next time. They had Reggae music playing which was the perfect touch and it gave you a nice island touch.
