I went to Jerl's for a catalytic converter for my Eclipse Spyder GS; their price was $70 cheaper than some other shop price, had them replace it and was on my way out in about 30 minutes, car passed smog test with flying colors. At first the place looks like they are going to be expensive but once inside you find that they have the best prices around and their service is just great; they do repairs other than just exhaust but for me when I need mufflers and converters this is the place to go, do recommend Jerl's for price and service. read more

Went and had a cat-back system installed. Offered a good price for installation for a magnaflow system about 200 dollars less than purchasing and installing one myself. It does sound rather nice and the performance is improved. However they did do press-bends rather than mandrel bends on my exhaust which is a little upsetting, so keep that in mind! read more

I bought an Xterra with multiple exhaust leaks giving me codes that would prevent smogging. The welder at Jerl's found all the leaks and fixed them. He did what another shop was not able to do. Awesome repair shop. I came here thinking my front brakes were totally warped and I was expecting to pay a couple hundred bucks + for new rotors and pads. Wrong. This place took the time to inspect my brakes, and they found that it was simply just a bad brake job before I ever bought my car. They resurfaced the rotors and re-did the brake job. Best part? As of now 5 star got the brakes done and it was easy process looks very clean and fast service and great people I can tell May God continue to bless them...by the way they charged way less than out dealer the dealer wanted 250 for the front and another 250 for the back supposibly I warranty expired at 48,000 miles and here they said only need the front back brakes will last another 6 months....here only 175.... 181 with taxes...I don't know about you but I got kids and a mortgage so saving money great people great fast service can't beat that! read more

I have been a loyal customer of Jerls for 15 years. I went in this week to get brakes done and the guy told me I needed new struts too. He claimed the struts were leaking and all 4 needed replaced. The guy also claimed my engine was about to "fall out" and I needed 4 new engine mounts costing over $2000. My car is only 3 years old so I questioned why I needed all this work done? I took it to another shop who inspected it for FREE. They claimed the struts were fine! NONE of them needed replaced. The mechanic also inspected the engine mounts and claimed only 1 was loose but DID NOT NEED REPLACED! I will NEVER take my car to Jerls again! I think this is a family owned business, and they were very friendly. I came here to get rid of a wobbly feeling through my steering wheel, and they did a free consultation and told me it was with my brake rotors. The staff was very helpful and their prices were competitive. I'm a dog person, so I even enjoyed seeing the shop's dog just roam around everywhere. The waiting room is very nice, and to get my rotors changed only took about 45 minutes, which wasn't a hassle for me at all. read more

This place was amazing! My hubby needed brakes and our old mechanic is no longer in business so I told him we should Yelp it. While doing a search, Jerl's came up. We recognized it from when it used to close to our home before they relocated. We like to use local, family run businesses, add that to the great reviews and it was a no brainer! We got there, they had it up on the rack within minutes and gave their assessment and estimate in under 15 minutes. And they told us to be back in an hour. All I gotta say is that their customer service is superb. I had to get my front brakes changed, which I already knew prior to coming because I had another auto shop tell me that when I got a brake inspection. I called in yesterday calling for a quote on how much it would cost. The price was extremely affordable considering all the other places I have contacted costed way more than what Jerl (or his son?) offered me. The best part was that he was nice enough to inform me that it would be best that I head there before opening (which is normally 8am) because that's when he starts working on cars. I arrived there around 7:45 and was greeted the moment I stepped out of my car. He took care of me and informed me about how my rear brakes needed a bit of resurfacing, I believe. But never did I, in any way, feel pressured to add on any service that he was suggesting for me. He also gave me tips in order for me to prevent this from happening in the future. I was in and out of the auto shop in about an hour, which isn't bad at all. I'm more than happy with the service. Definitely will be coming back if I ever have any other future problems with my brakes! read more

I had a slight altercation with a high curb and the muffler and left tail pipe was moved out of alignment. Hubby knew right away where to take the car thank goodness. We were greeted warmly, and within an hour we were out of there, all fixed, for just under $90. I was so relieved and the car sounds so much better! This is a great shop. I used to use De Anza muffler but even they couldn't beat Jerls muffler prices. Full catback exaust 2 1/4" piping (provided and customized at Jerls) installed/welded with magnaflow muffler for $125.00. Took only 30 minutes, I brought my own magnaflow muffler though. My vehicle was handling poorly due to suspension issues. The car was thoroughly inspected and I was advised of the repairs required.
