Full catback exaust 2 1/4" piping (provided and customized at Jerls) installed/welded with magnaflow muffler for $125.00. Took only 30 minutes, I brought my own magnaflow muffler though. Took my vehicle here, it was my first time coming here but I needed an alignment on my truck witch has 35inch tires. Iv taken it to another alignment shop an was not happy with it drove like crap. These guys are great. I came in to get my brakes checked because I haven't gotten them checked out in awhile. The inspection was free and after they were done the guy said I needed my rear brake drums cleaned and adjusted. He said they would be able to take care of it right on the spot. The epitome of the honest, helpful, friendly mechanic shop. I had just left Brake Masters across the street who quoted me $1800 for a van I was pretty sure just needed a fluid flush. I took it across the street to Jerl's, and they told me I was correct about the fluid, and that fluid caused the need for a new master cylinder, total $300. I have taken my 2011 Chevy Silverado to get the check engine light looked into. The owner hooked up a Scanner. and mentioned to me that I needed a new converter and by the way it was not cheap. After re-placing the catalytic converter the check engine light was still on so he checked it again and told me both Oxygen sensors were bad so of course the job is getting more expensive at this time. Before I left to get not even 50 miles the check engine light came on again I've taking it back now it's going to be the other side catalytic converter that is no good and then I replace both O2 sensors by this time I'm already $800.00 into this vehicle. Drove it again not even 50 miles and the light came back on. They replace one of the oxygen sensors but now the light comes on immediately before it took a while. They got to a point where they're just blow me off and set me down the road to a different mechanic to check things out. I'm not over with this and I will add what the outcome will be but now I need to take it to a different mechanic to see if he could fix this guys problem. read more

I went in because I needed brakes done and did not want to go to Brake Master's across the street. I had an Infiniti G35 coupe at the time and had them do my brakes. I had to return the next day becuase my car would rattle hard when I would brake. It was a bit pricy as well. I spoke with Brian and asked for a price on front brakes. He gave me a good price. I called Brake Masters for the same quote and I got quoted more for the same job. I went with Jerl's and not only did they replace my front brakes but they checked and serviced my rear brakes also. I paid exactly what Brian said and there were no upsell attempts. They explained what they were going to do and even showed me my old brake pads. After a not so good experience at Advance the day before. I went to Jerl's, everyone was awake and greeted me in the parking lot with a smile. They had the Flowmaster made specifically for a Tahoe and had it installed in minutes. They explained that I didn't need 3" exhaust or tail pipe since my vehicle came with it and it was in good condition. Unlike Advance's recommendation to replace the pipe. Total cost, $175. I had small talk with the Mom...she's really nice. The son Brian, I believe, was super awesome and a very honest man. I was so impressed after leaving Jerl's. My car is pretty new and was making noise when I put on the brakes. They told me this would be more than likely covered under my warranty with the dealer which i didn't even think about. When I told them I just didn't have time to get to the dealer, it had taken me forever to get in HERE, he took my car and checked it out for me. He found nothing wrong, explained if it got worse to take it to the dealer and if they hassled me to bring it back to him and he'd help me out. He handed over my keys and didn't charge me a dime.
