I also found out that if you pump up the break pedal and it holds, it probably not the master cylinder, which makes sense. I told the guy at the counter I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it because it's an old car with a lot of miles on it, but I still use it as a backup. It's worth maybe $3,000. So I left the car and got an estimate a couple of hours later with $7,500 worth or recommended repairs, including a new master cylinder, brakes shoes, new hoses and tires, system flushes, etc. etc. I literally told them that that I didn't want to spend a lot of money and really only wanted the brakes looked at. It's an old car and I get that it has a lot of stuff that is wearing out. But maybe next time do what the customer asked and quote the job at hand first before you try to upsell a bunch of extra stuff.

Call them back. They said that they need to put a tune on the transmission. I asked them what tune they put in my truck. They would not tell me what tune was in there. All they said was they've installed thousands of these tunes in these trucks. So I took my boat twenty four foot pontoon, back and forth to bartlett, lake, a few times ship points were all messed up on the transmission. Had to manually shift it down, going uphills, called them back to find out again. Why they did not tune my transmission to the tune that they put in my truck would not give me an answer, all they said, is they have to tune the transmission to the tune? That's in the truck now. I have been calling this company for the past week. And a 1 left them, messages left them my name. And number the truck with no return phone call. Beware of what you have this company do for you? That's all? I'm gonna say but again. I have called them several times asked them questions about if I bring my truck in. Can you tune the transmission to the tune? That's in my truck right now. When I asked if I could wait for my vehicle, Carmine informed me that he only had 8 service racks, so he would get to it as rack freed up. Made sense. I was wrong I received no updates through out the entire day. I called around 4 and spoke to Carmine and he informed me that he drove it and that he was going to have someone else drive it and if I could leave over night because he closed at 5:00pm. No rack diagnosis, No explanation, Just indifference I live quite a distance and found it farcical since he did not reach out to me at all. Waste of my time!
