The menu was diverse, and the food was served promptly--with daily specials and different soups. Competitive prices. Clean restrooms. Excellent service. Breakfast and lunch hours only. My wife happened to go there last week on our way to Home Depot for breakfast. First thing, it is very clean, busy and friendly. My better half ordered the pancakes and she said they were so good all she put on them was a little butter. I had the corned beef hash with two eggs and toast. It was just the right amount of food and we didn't leave needing a wheel barrow. When we were there i just had a feeling that we had been there before, or there were going to be people there we knew. Well low and behold we did see 3 people that we knew. They were friends from church that are regular customers. We will definitely be going back, and probably today. A Waterford gem. read more

Sorry for the low review but have had lunch twice in the last few weeks both times wonder why I came back. Frist time the toast was over cooked. THE second time L asked for chillie cheese fries I'VE never had them with shredded cheese with cold chilly to bad it didn't melt .Oh yeah the coney didn't have ample chilli only covered one side of the bun. And too the waitress you seen 2 halfs of bun and half a plate of chilli cheese fries with no chilli or unmelted cheese you know were not HAppy when we pay for the crap you dished out don't ask if we enjoyed our meal remember you wouldn't clear a spot on the table to put the kids chicken tenders and fries . My experience was, simply put amazing. So good I've been dreaming of coney dogs since. Not the run of the mill type of dream...no.no.no. I'm talking bright colors of red and yellow for ketchup and mustard. Smells of goodness ringing all around. Dogs and cats getting along and even having a meal together. Hate to do this, but I don't get it. I've only been once, so maybe it's not fair. But it's a coney island, so I got a coney and coney fries. Those are the things that really need to be right. The chili was good. The dog itself was good. The bun tasted and felt like it had been frozen, or at least refrigerated for awhile. Weird texture. The fries were the worst I've ever had. Anywhere. It's a Coney island. A pretty good one but the same menu and food as much the world over. This one gets the extra star for the fast thoughtful courteous staff and for being mom's favorite. One of the first things I noticed coming toi Michigan was the preponderance of Coney restaurants. It seems you can't turn around without bumping into one, and there's usually one right next door, and another across the street! I'm not a hot dog eater, or a big diner fan, but when we were new in town and desperate for breakfast one morning, we tried Jerry's on the recommendation of a local. I'm very glad we did. The menu is very much standard fare- eggs, pancakes, burgers and hotdogs- but the quality shines. We had egg/toast/bacon breakfasts cooked perfectly, and the bread was so like home made that we took the name of the bakery home with us! The pancakes are also excellent, home made quality. The staff was friendly and courteous to a one, and the guests all appeared to be cheerful and well fed. The premises were also spotlessly clean and pleasant. I would definitely recommend. read more

I stopped in between arriving flights to grab a bite with a couple colleagues...at 130 on a Sunday it was pretty full but the busboy shuffled some chairs to get our threesome a table. I always order a hotdog from a Coney joint that I'm new to...I feel like it's the one thing they should do pretty well besides chili, eggs and fries. I got a couple plain dogs and a cheese fry. Sadly the dogs looked like they were pulled from a hot water bath rather than griddled. They didn't have a snap to them and the buns were a little dried out. It made me a little sad since I love a good dog. They use actual cheese on their cheese fries too, which could be because of the Velveeta shortage. That said, cheese sauce, at least in my humble opinion, makes the best cheese fries. These were OK but coagulated and turned into one big plate sized cheese fry seconds after they hit the table. I'd order differently if I came back but our server was really sweet and she took good care of us so I can see why it's a favorite for locals. read more

Stopped in for breakfast. Standard fare. The food was mostly pretty good. Did get an order of chili cheese fries which were not quite right. The fries were fine but they just threw some shredded cheese on top with not good chili and it just didn't taste very good. Service was very friendly. The place was busy. The biggest issue I have is that they miscalculated my bill. There were at least three items on the bill that we're not ours or were repeated. So I think that they overcharged us about nine dollars. I brought it to the waitresses attention in after quite a while she brought it back saying that she had overcharged us by $1.25. I recalculated the bill again and was sure that they overcharged us for about eight dollars, I really think they repeated some items. Anyways I didn't argue any further just tipped less. In the end they got me for a few extra bucks. So just look at your bill. I absolute don't take it lightly that I report this. It may have been a simple mistake but I gave them a chance to correct it and they didn't. If not for that issue I would've given four or five stars read more

This Coney has the best prices in Waterford, Mi. The breakfast is very good and cooked to order. The service is excellent and has a family feeling. Before some contractors go to work they have to have a solid breakfast and this is where they go. The food is good and the price is right. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. In fact, I'm heading there right now for a breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast for $ 3 .17. Note: I don't drink coffee but water does just fine so add the price of coffee. Chuck read more

The only place in a 20 mile radius with really good breakfast gravy! The sausage patties have me driving past a dozen other places to get to them. They are addictive. The waitstaff is excellent.
