I will NEVER give this place anymore business. The owner is very disrespectful and does not know how to communicate with customers in an appropriate manner. This was my first time having a sandwich here in a few years and I totally regret ever walking through those doors. I honestly should've just kept driving. I walked into the business at 11:00am (which was the hour that they opened), as per their posted signage. I greeted the owner and he replied "I'm not even opened yet, I'm only doing cold sandwiches. No cheesesteaks." I then replied "I'm assuming your fryers are also down?" He replied "Yeah, fryers are down". While he was making my two sandwiches, I attempted to make a friendly conversation with him about his new business location. I had informed him that on google, the address for his new location reflects the address of his old location. I told him that I had assumed they were no longer around, up until I saw the new location on the WHP, Berlin. He sarcastically replied back "Yeah, we moved locations in December of 2022, and I made it very clear to the public of our new address. You must've missed it". End of conversation.. Additionally, to have a successful business, you should always put your customers first and treat them with respect. I never heard of a business EVER closing their doors on customers when they run out of bread. Sadly, I don't see this business lasting very much longer.. **NOTE** -You can only order food here and cannot eat inside. -It's cash only. -Once they run out of bread, they close their doors.

If I wasn't with my mom I would still be at Jersey Joe's!! This is definitely the next time you are near Berlin NJ stop and eat at Jersey Freaking Joe's Included the 'freaking' only because I am trying to show emotion. I got excited seeing the Liscio boxes BUT Liscio Sesame seed rolls, shut the flocking door!!! The meat is a little thicker slice, less chopped and they leave it on the grill a little longer to get a little char; GENIUS!! the cheese was separating the roll and the meat; slap my face I thought I liked the cheese melted into the meat. Mushrooms were awesome. prices are more than fair but cash only.

First time here. Very close to my apartment and shocked I never knew about it in the 5+ years living in the area. I think I may have heard about it in passing - but I likely ruled it out because it's cash only (nothing personal I just simply almost never carry cash). That said - they do have an ATM inside if you're in a pinch, but I'm sure it charges and I've read other reviews that said $2). Anyway, plenty of parking outside off of a quiet street and seating for about 8-10, although this is definitely a grab and go joint. Service was friendly and I got my sandwich quickly. Ordered the diablo chicken cutlet sandwich, which is spicy chicken cutlet, sharp provolone and some type of veggie or pepper. It was solid. The roll had a good chew, Liscio's I believe with a seeded role. Good length, good amount of chicken. Nice spice on the chicken cutlet but I'd prefer a bit hotter but then again I admittedly tend to OD on the heat. The sandwich felt like it was missing something, so I added some condiments to jazz it up. Good sandwich overall but unlikely I'd get it again. Next time I would definitely order an Italian hoagie or a cheesesteak, both of which I bet are amazing here. Hopefully I get to come here again soon and update this review. But the long and short of it is that I recommend you give this place a shot.

This is definitely a DIVE bar for the locals in the area. Service was cool, just not as attentive as one would expect. Friend ordered a beer special that was a 1.00 between 10am - 2pm as posted on the wall. Instead of honoring it, they cleaned the board wiping off the special. I ordered the short rib grill cheese. It was a short rib that was short the rib and just had tons of cheese on marble bread. It has no flavor or real taste. If you go here, do NOT order this, it was not good at all. All in all, i give it a 1 star, because there was nothing good and it needs a lot of work.

Their fries are really good with the seasoning on them. Their beer is always cold and crisp. Their panzaroti bites are super good, and never overcooked . They actually know how to pour a beer unlike places like chickie and Pete's, who allows it to continuously pour until the foam is gone serving flat beer. The sad thing is is people don't realize the difference between a terrible beer like that and having a beer from a bar that actually knows how to pour beer. I have ordered beer many times and I have never had. It spilled all over the place like a lot of bars do serve you a dirty alcohol covered cup. It's the same girls all the time when I go there and they're all really nice. It's really hard to find a nice bar. There are a lot of places with bars, but they're overpriced and their drinks are crap but not here. I go for basically the same thing each week and each week it is consistent in quality taste. The service is consistent. They don't charge you for to go food like the jug handle does in Maple Shade. They don't charge you to use credit like several bars in the area do. I just really enjoy going here. And I do recommend people all the time to go here. They also have a big parking lot, but no matter where you park. You're not too far from the front door.

The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.

They were incredibly welcoming over the phone and assured us they were still happy to serve us, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed, even though it was later in the evening, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious, and after a long day, it was exactly what we were hoping for. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that still values hospitality at the end of the night. The Jug Handle Inn turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

At this point I'm starting to wonder if the chickens are real or if I've been the victim of an elaborate prank. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my poultry disappointment. We ordered a couple different wing flavors, including the Honey Mustard and a blueberry-based sauce, and both were excellent. The wings themselves were massive, meaty, and cooked really well. The Honey Mustard had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess with just enough mustard bite to keep it from feeling overly sweet. The blueberry flavor was surprisingly good too. It had a sweet-tart fruitiness that sounds unusual on paper but worked really well with the smoky, savory wings. Both sauces had plenty of flavor without completely overpowering the chicken. The atmosphere is classic neighborhood pub. Cozy, casual, and the kind of place where people seem comfortable settling in for the whole evening. Downstairs there's a bar and shuffleboard area that definitely attracts a younger crowd. It gets pretty lively and noisy, which adds to the fun if you're there with friends. My only real complaint is that parts of the place felt a little messy. The stairs leading downstairs were sticky, and parts of the basement floor were too. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it was noticeable. The staff, however, were fantastic. Fast, friendly, and personable. Even when things were busy, they kept everything moving and made us feel welcome. Overall, it's a fun spot with great wings, good energy, and a laid-back crowd. Still giving it four stars because I left without seeing a single chicken, and I feel mildly betrayed. But if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and eat some seriously good wings, it's definitely worth the visit.

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.
