With wings being one of my favorite foods; I knew I had to try this place after seeing a local philly food bloggers review. Although the comments of his video had mixed reviews and swayed me not to try any sides, I still wanted to at least try the wings. All of the comments about the wait time are absolutely TRUE. We ordered three 24 piece party wing trays. It took over 2 hours for the food to be ready (we ordered shortly after they opened). BUT I can say they were well worth the wait!! When I say THESE were the Pretty Wings Maxwell was singing about, I mean it lol. We ordered Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parm, and Fat Boy. All 3 flavors were so darn good. They were fried to perfection and very flavorful. I will definately be returning. I highly recommend you try this place for the wings. Accidentally took the wrong turn one day and decided to keep going. Ended up in this town and saw a sign for Ms. Heavens Wings. It was a sign from the heavens telling me I needed to break my diet and come here. Before I even ordered, they warned me that the wings were cooked fresh to order and I'd have at least a 15-20 minute wait. No prob. Plenty of seating inside to hang out, and soon enough they plopped down my wings in a to-go bag. It felt like forever until I finally got home, but when I opened up the container, I was happy to see that the wings were still hot and crispy. These are huge! I have yet to order here for my family but we've done two large catering orders for my place of work now. Everyone raves about it when we order from here. I place my order at 4:07 pm today with the cashier Shanita for a dine in with my wife which we order 3 whole jumbo wings, 2 pc whiting platter w sides of Mac & cheese, collard greens and a side order of potato salad 2 can soda the total cost and tax of $32.25. I, asked Shanita how long the wait she replied can't give any time frame now 50 minutes passes by no updates etc. So, me and my wife walked up to the cashier Shanita asked how long she replied I told you there will be an extended wait which I wasn't advised I request a refund on the order I placed. WOW!! MMMmmmmmm.... Have you ever heard Mark Weins say these two words and then lean so far to the right that you think he's gonna hit the floor?!! Well that's how I felt after tasting these wings for the first time. Not only are these wings ginormous. But they're seasoned lightly and cooked just right. Very moist and not over fried. I tried Ms Heavens Wings for the first time recently. The flavor and cook of the wings was excellent. I live about 20 minutes away. I called in my order and was given a 35 minute wait time for my order. I left my home 30 minutes into the wait time and traveled for another 20 minutes. Upon arrival I waited another 20 minutes. I say that to say this. Be prepared to wait and give them extra time. It appeared to be minimal staffing so give extra time when you order. read more

So I'm going to go ahead and give a 5 because the "Fat Boys" were so good. I definitely had a wing as a late night snack! It was weird having to be called back for pickup (which I showed up for anyway because I had phone on DND and thought I missed) but I get it now. Plus it's cool to know your food was made to order and The wings need to set. I'm not mad at this. I tried the fat boys flavor and boom, so good. It not very spicy as it is sweet but it's a good blend of both. Since it was just me, I opted for a platter with Mac m cheese and yams. I could not eat it all in one setting. I chose the whole wings, but since they are the same price, next time I'll just go with party wings. They are a nice size so a 3/6 piece really is enough or too much if you add some sides for just one person. I'm going again in hopes to try a different flavor and you should too. Side note. Kind of a strange set up if you ask me. Beware they might be open, but you might not be able to place an order. Apparently on days they are busy will just flat out stop taking walk in orders all together. Strange business strategy to not sell costumers the product when they walk in the door willing to spend their money. Didn't get to try the wings.... Or anything actually. I wanted to love this. The good: our wings sat from whenever they were prepared until they were cold and were still crispy. So the fry on them is superb. The fat boy sauce and garlic Parmesan sauces were delicious. We ordered three orders of wings. We were told the wait was an hour to an hour and a half. We left and returned after an hour and ten minutes. At that time, we were told our wings were being sauced. 40 minutes later we were given a bag of ice cold food. One of our orders was a platter that included two sides: macaroni and cheese that is oddly spiced with clove or cinnamon?? And a pre-packaged not made at Ms. Heavens container of macaroni and tuna salad. Both a hard pass. I'm an employee of Ms Heavens wings and we do get tips and she doesn't keep them for herself AT ALL !!! Don't get on here saying don't tip that's taking money out of my pocket! Individual employees aren't allowed to take every tip for themselves because they are all put together and divided amongst the whole staff this is because the work is evenly distributed so the tips are. No one man is greater than the other at Ms.Heavens she feeds her staff and buys us food on weekends as appreciation whenever she can. Came by my sisters house new to the area, and in the mood for some wings. I open my phone and search the area and after a few google reviews I selected Ms. Heavens Wings. I placed a phone order at 6:00pm. I did not receive my food till 7:50. So I'm furious because I was starving and the young lady at the counter kept telling me a few more minutes every time I asked what's up with my order. So when I get home with the food (Fatboy wings and shrimp, green beans and fries). I was pleasantly surprised the wings were fried to perfection and the sauce was amazing. The shrimp were actually jumbo (not the reg size) and also fried and sauced to perfection. The fries were the Crinkle fries (avg) and the green beans tasted like they came straight from the can. I gave them a 4/5 because how long I had to wait for my food but I would give the wings a 5/5. I am definitely going back to try more stuff just order way way way in advance and stay away from the string beans.
