I was curious if there were any pizza places with Papa in the name other than Papa John's in the Greater Philadelphia area, and this place popped up. They had two kinds of plain pizza - regular and "Grandma" style. Both slices had excellent crust - well done and crunchy. The cheese/sauce ratio on both were pretty good - high quality ingredients on both! I could taste a lot of good flavor from both cheeses - Grandma one had pretty great tasting sauce as well. I rate the plain slice as 4.1 out of 5, and the grandma as 4.3 out of 5. On my scale, 4 is excellent (means I would drive out of my way to have the slice), so that translates to 5 stars on this site. Would love to get a whole grandma pie when I'm in this area again. read more

We had gotten two extra toppings on a meat lover pie, onions and mushrooms, and when we looked at the pie when we got home, it looked like someone had forgotten to put the onions on and so it looked like someone just threw them on after it baked, and so they looked raw. Me and my girlfriend tried eating it, but the pizza was also very soggy, it looked like it was just not cooked enough as it was not crispy at all, the dough was very doughy, and like I said, it was honestly just one of the most depressing pizzas I have ever eaten. I also had no idea that an extra topping alone is $2.50 which is utterly ridiculous for how little of that topping they put on, on top of them forgetting, I can not recommend this place to anyone, as I feel the pizza pie is the ONE thing you should get right and if a PIZZA place can't do that, than I just wouldn't recommend... I don't want to make any assumptions, but a big reason me and my girlfriend went here was because the reviews were pretty good, but after coming here, I have a strong feeling that a lot of these reviews are fake. read more

The food here is what you would expect for a pizza shop but they are consistently above average in everything they make. It's not "artisan" like some other shops in the area but everything has been very good. The wings are nice and crispy and their hot and honey sauce is *chefs kiss*. Stopped in yesterday on way back home. I was hungry for pizza and passed Papa Mario's on the way. Located within a strip of stores along the highway, this is a small parlor but there are plenty of seats to enjoy your food. The two employees working were extremely friendly and promptly took my order. I gave the Old Fashioned pie a try - it was delicious. Excellent mix of flavors. I've never had anything quite like it and I would definitely get it again if I were in the area. I noticed that Papa Mario's also prides itself on its chicken wings. Unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to try those - but it the Old Fashioned was any example of the tastes offered here, I imagine they should be good. read more

I'm not exaggerating when I say the Chicken Rosella is my favorite hot sandwich of all time. It's just the right amount of garlicky and I don't know what you do to the roll but oooooooooh that sh!t is good. I was going to take a pic, but the camera does not eat first with this sandwich. You're going to just have to trust me and go find out for yourself. If you live close by, I suggest you get it as a lunch special, which is the perfect size with a side of fries. And THE FRIES!!!!! You know the extra crispy fries that remind you of a school cafeteria (but in the best kind of way)??? They unlocked a key memory and all other fries are now far inferior. They weren't kidding when they say "the best on earth" on their menu. Also love the bruschetta and they have the good kind of chicken tendies. I've only had pizza from here once, due to the fact that the sandwich always calls to me, but it was above average for this area. Only thing I haven't liked here is the popcorn chicken - it just wasn't anything special. Overall, this place has secured its place in our rotation of fave places and they do great work. Look I'm not going to lie last night at like 12:30am I was starving so I have this place a try... I ordered online and wanted a root beer with my meal. unfortunately they didn't have it but they called me right away to let me know. customer service was amazing. I asked for them to drop the food at my door and they did just that but also called to let me know. once I ate my food cheesesteak fries and popcorn chicken. 10/10 i was beyond satisfied. will be a regular customer now. Customers beware!!!! The owner is crazy! My fiancee left a bad Google review after we ordered a disgusting buffalo chicken pizza. The owner called me repeatedly at 11pm that night and left a few very nasty voicemails!!!! He was so rude and condescending. Very unprofessional and if you write a bad review he will harass you. After reading the Google reviews I'm not the 1st customer that this owner harrassed over a negative review. He is a bully and this is not ok. Not Sure what the crappy reviews are all about our experience was great!!!. We don't live far from Papa Mario's. We were looking for a good pizza and we tried Papa's for the first time. The women's that took our order was very friendly. The old fashioned pizza was excellent. Crust was crispy and it was really good. The wings were very large and we enjoyed them. In addition they have a special where you get a mini cheesesteak for $4 and it was very good. Liked it so much we ordered a second time a few days later and when I went in I met the owner Mario. The only thing wrong with this place is we don't have one near our house! We stopped in quite by accident traveling back from CT home to the DC area. We have ordered from this establishment on multiple occasions, continued to make mistake after mistake and always gave them another chance. After countless messed up deliveries and always at-least an hour late on delivery we will not be ordering from them anymore. Sad to say their food is good, if it's correct. Two weeks ago we ordered and were quoted a 35 minute wait time, which we know from experience is closer to 45/50, and ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food. Moved to the area a couple months ago and was so happy to live near this spot. I fell in love with the pizza at first bite LOL. The old fashioned pizza is definitely worth trying ! Their cheese steak is hands down the best one I've ever had! Lastly, their jumbo wings are just perfect. Yes they may have some kinks to figure out as far as delivery and customer service but you can tell that their food is made from fresh ingredients so if you can overlook some of their kinks you definitely won't be disappointed! read more
