My most recent visit to Jersey Mike's in Blue Bell was disappointing. The food was not prepared as ordered. Condiment was not applied and lettuce and tomato was minimal. The side order was not what I ordered. Tipping ahead of time thru the app for the awful lunch experience has made me aware not to tip going forward. We've eaten sandwiches from here a handful of times over the years, but always takeout. The app is pretty handy and allows for curbside pickup, which is very convenient. It's great that they have a gluten-free option for their sandwiches, in which they use an Udi's bun instead of their regular bread. My go-to order is #9, a sandwich with roast beef, turkey, and bacon! Lots of customization available, always tasty, and a regular sub is enough to stretch into two meals, another nice bonus. I used to have Jersey Mike's Subs often when I lived in So Cal. I really enjoy the taste and texture of Jersey Mike's! I was happy to be able to enjoy a sub again while visiting family. And thanks to Yelp, I discovered their was a location not far from our hotel! I ordered a medium Italian sub with rosemary oregano bread. I didn't have it "the mike's way" (lettuce, tomato, mayo). I had lettuce, tomato, pickles, banana peppers, oil, vinegar, oregano and for some reason I asked for parmesan cheese. Still can't figure that out. The sub was just as yummy as I remember. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie which was the bomb dot com and so soft! I ate it the next morning and it didn't need to be warmed up, it was still soft! I gave 4 stars because it's a bit pricey. I ordered a medium sub and cookie and it was $12 and something cents plus tip. read more

Like others, I was shocked to see the negative reviews here. I've had only good experiences at this location (about 5/6 visits probably). I'm a Jersey Mike's lifer, growing up about 30 minutes away from their home in Point Pleasant, NJ. Over the years I've had one or two disappointing experiences, but it's been 99% good. Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh and they are quality. Veggies are all extremely fresh as well. You don't see that very often anymore. I also prefer subs to hoagies because the ingredients are more even distributed in a sub. You get every ingredient in every bite, and the ingredients are great at Jersey Mikes. Service has also been good, despite what others have shared. I've had nice conversations with the employees here and never any attitude or poor service. Also a fan of their promotions and rewards program. Reward don't move super fast, but basically if you buy 12 subs of a certain size, you'll get a free one of the same size. They have a double points day to help this happen even faster. They also e-mail deals on a regular basis. Some are better than other, but buy one get one deals come every so often. For my birthday, I just got a coupon for a free regular size sub and drink that's good for an entire year. Can't beat that. If you've only done hoagies your whole life and want a change of pace, a Jersey Mike's sub is a refreshing change. May not change your life, but it could change your taste in sandwiches. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Another messed up order - we have been through this several times now and we are DONE. We had a whole sandwich missing this time and the manager at the store tried to blame it on DoorDash and told us to get a refund from DoorDash even though we did not use the DoorDash app. And the bag was handed to us by the driver SEALED. We wrote to headquarters and the response: we must go back to the individually owned location and go get a refund in person. So now I have to waste my time and gas going back to get a refund for the missing sandwich. Jersey Mike's is fast, affordable, clean, and makes a pretty good sandwich. The meats are of a decent quality (not quite at the Primo's level, but heads and shoulders above Subway), and the rolls are great. The roll is also wider than the rolls at the hoagie shops in the area, which makes the sandwiches easier and cleaner to eat. They have a number of good sandwich options on the menu, though I usually stick with my standby, the Italian. Been there many times but the last time was probably going to be my final visit. I walked in and was the only customer at the time. The tables were dirty with trash and debris which was a big turn off. I proceeded to order a cheese steak and watch the most unsanitary cooking take place. The young man pulled two frozen steaks out of the freezer placed them on the grill. While my steaks are cooking is when he decides he wants to clean the rest of the grill and spatula. He begins to scrape the grill while my steaks are cooking as I watch debris flying everywhere. He then uses the scraper on the spatula and works on my steak. Disgusting. I proceed to check out, which is the part I truly hate because Jersey Mikes insists on hammering their customers even more by putting a tip screen on the card charge machine. HEY JERSEY MIKES, THEY ARE MAKING SANDWICHES...NOT WAITING TABLES, STOP MAKING IT SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCT OR I WILL GO ELSEWHERE. The staff was amazingly friendly and courteous. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. The only reason I have four instead of five stars is because I am gluten free and the prepared didn't label my sandwich; I only knew it was mine because of the toppings and the fact that the roll looked like the gluten free picture in the window. Kind of risky especially for people like myself who are gluten free due to an intolerance and not just for personal preference. This has to be the worst service I've received or attempted to receive from Jersey Mike's Sub. My friend and I went in there today around 1 pm for sandwiches. When we walked in there was no one behind the counter. There was a gentleman ahead of us waiting as well. We waited for about 5 minutes and no one came out. When we yelled in the back eventually 2 people surfaced then about 3 more came from the back. A girl came out and said they were in a meeting. I said that no one has been out here and anyone could have come in and taken stuff. She said 'that's okay we have cameras.' I then said we'll you lost a couple of customers bc they walked out. She said "yeah that's okay we don't care." She was very rude and assume she must have been the shift manager. I told her she is losing 2 more customers and we left and went to Zoup. Funny bc the people who left Jersey Mike's were in Zoup complaining how bad the service is which of course they love to hear. More business for them!
