I placed an order online today using points that I'd earned through the app. I ordered the #56 for curbside pick up. I arrived, parked, clicked "I'm here" in the app, and a very friendly member of the staff came outside with my order right away! Once I got home, I enjoyed my superbly prepared sub on the sofa. I really appreciate the curbside pick up option on this very frigid day.

Updating my review to mention that I have always experienced excellent customer service here. These employees really take customer satisfaction seriously. My sandwiches are always perfectly made to order. The bread is fresh and delicious, and vegetables are always fresh. The best fresh red ripe tomatoes of any sandwich shop! Mike's Way is the best way!

This location looks fairly new inside with some really nice looking floors which add greatly to its appearance as aesthetically clean. I ordered a #17 Mike's Famous Philly regular. The sandwich tasted excellent just like the last time I had one 17 days ago at the 5025 E 82nd St, Ste 1700, Indianapolis, IN 46250 location. The perfect combination of ingredients cooked thoroughly with melted cheese. Super delicious! I tried one their sugar cookies today. They are marketed as baked fresh daily. I would have to agree. I'm telling you that cookie tasted like it just came out of the oven after it cooled off. Service here was super fast and my order was correct. The cashier helped me get started with the rewards program by scanning the QR code on the brown bag your sandwich comes in. Restroom was clean and stocked. No issues with parking as plenty of spaces were available.

The staff is so friendly and professional. The sandwiches are great. And it's a cute little seating area. They even have gluten-free bread available! Great experience...plan to keep coming back!

These are both supposed to be a regular-sized sandwich?

I highly recommend avoiding this location. The biggest issue appears to be a lack of attention to detail from the staff. Main issues with our order on Friday night November 17: 1. We ordered 3 regular sized sandwiches; however, one was noticeably smaller than the others (see photo). 2. Staff ignored modifications (bread type and toppings) 3. Minimal amounts veggies added to the sandwich--they mostly fill it with lettuce and add very few of the others.

In desperate need of a sandwich spot and unsure of where to go, I stopped in Jersey Mike's on a whim (we'd seen them advertise at a Fuel game). Man, my expectations were SURPASSED. The guy working the counter was maybe the most joyful worker I've ever seen. He was THRILLED we were there and his joy was contagious. He explained the sauces well and wrapped our sandwich in the quickest, coolest way I've ever seen. It was like sandwich bag folding origami. We left with a smile on our faces (and two sandwiches that were super good... like this might be my new sandwich go-to).

Best sandwiches. After trying all the other sandwiches in the area this is by far the best. Their turkey sub 'mikes way' is the best.

T'other day was a flight of a mushroom/swiss burger, a Western burger, and a straightforward crispy-chicken sandwich. Both burgers were delicious. Lunch companion had a basic cheeseburger which was great, all elements. Food came out fast and hot. We split a pint of a cold, tasty, dark amber beer that was a bargain at $6. The employee who waited on us was kind, helpful, polite, and just nice to be around. We didn't order sides, as we believed the burgers (% chicken san) would be enough, and ... yup, we were right. A very filling and tasty lunch, and while it costs more than drive-through chains, the quality is going to make us return.

When we arrived, the place was empty. We weren't even sure that they were open until we saw the kitchen staff behind the line. Upon entering, I saw a kiosk where you can place your order, but a woman emerged from the back to take our orders. Being that we weren't familiar with the menu, I told her that the kiosk might be easier. She insisted that it wasn't, and as I went on, I realized the same. The kiosk states that there is a $1.25 charge for the sauce on the side, but she explained that it comes with one sauce free of charge and additional sauces cost extra. We placed our order with her: A small Italian salad to share, the Fatty B calzone with the spicy marinara sauce and the Hot Mother Clucker calzone with the chipotle garlic ranch. We ordered them with the suggested sauces but also order the regular marinara and the garlic sauces on the side. We were given glasses for water (self-serve from the soda fountain) and also ordered a bottled beer and canned cider. By the time we were done ordering, a line had formed. The store was understaffed, which was explained to us later, so we had to exercise patience. We didn't receive our beverages until after the calzones were delivered. Before that, we received our rather large, small salad. It was more than enough for two people. The woman had explained to us that it comes with 4 cups of lettuce plus the toppings. That information helped us make our decision to share. The space is large and we noticed cornhole boards to be used on the patio. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went, otherwise we would have played. The calzones were good and filling. Neither of us finished ours and had food to enjoy at home later that evening. The Hot Mother Clucker isn't very pizza-esque, but dipping it into marinara sort of brought it back into the fold. The suggested chipotle garlic ranch was a better pairing indeed. The salad bowl/plate is oddly shaped, which caused toppings to being spilling off the sides. When it was brought to our table, the woman tried saving the toppings by wedging them between the order slip and her fingers and dumping them back onto our plate. I stopped her. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I don't want to eat food that a stranger's hands have touched. I explained this to her. She tried to assure us that she washes her hands constantly throughout the day, but she'd just come over from the register without a handwashing break. Just let the toppings fall where they may! Let's keep it hygienic.

I was craving a sub, but in my rush to order before a work meeting, I mistakenly ordered a half sandwich. When I say sandwich, I mean meat and cheese between two slices of multi-grain bread...AND cut in half! I was so upset with myself. Not only did it not satisfy my craving, but the bread was slightly soggy. It was quite literally falling apart - maybe from the oil and vinegar if that was still included. So, I wound up taking the meat, cheese and banana peppers (it was a Grilled Italian) off of the bread and eating it with my fingers. Sans bread. The Sweet Tea and Fresh Cut Fries saved me that day. I love Penn Station subs, and it wasn't their fault that I ordered the incorrect sandwich, but it did leave me wondering why they even sell those types of sandwiches to begin with. I would like them removed from the menu! LBVS

The Cake Bake Shop is an exception and rightfully so. We have been to the Indianapolis location three times and this is our first visit to the Carmel shop. The atmosphere and glittering decor is whimsical. The service is exceptional. The food, especially the dessert, is exquisite. We celebrated our anniversary with crab beignets, Gwendolyn's signature chicken and andouille gumbo, and New Orleans shrimp po' boy with pommes frites. Our young daughters dined in with us so we asked for the Crystal hot sauce to be placed on the side. For dessert, we shared a slice of the celebration cake which had three different cake layers: vanilla cake with chocolate chips, chocolate cake, and vanilla almond confetti cake. The flavors are distinctive and came together with two buttercreams, vanilla almond and strawberry. It was delightful and delicate. However, I am still extremely loyal to my favorite, Gwendolyn's Famous Earl's Court Chocolate Cake. For take-out, we had the chocolate chip cookie with fleur de sel, walnut brownie, birthday macaron, and chocolate caramel macaron. I love dessert but cookies and brownies are generally at the bottom of my list. I generally prefer cake, donuts, ice cream, tarts, and various pastries. But once again, I make the exception for the Cake Bake Shop. My favorite is the walnut brownie because it has a nice, crispy crust and a soft center. It is perfection! It is also worth mentioning that the server sprinkled glitter on my girls' hands and hair so that they could make a wish with the celebration cake. If your young children is into anything sparkly and glittery, this definitely ups the notch to a wonderful and magical lunch experience! Safe to say - The next time we have a road trip in the general area, I am going to include The Cake Bake Shop in the itinerary.
