The staff was great, but management needs to get ahold of the cleanliness. I saw multiple dirty towels sitting on the line, the cashier was making sandwiches and using the POS without changing gloves and unfortunately it smelled like a dog had peed inside. Not sure if it was dirty mop water or what. It was hard for me to eat my food because I couldn't stop thinking about the state of the place. read more

This particular Jersey Mike's is a scam. I ordered the number 3 giant sub. The meat is sliced so thin and if any of you know the giant is a lot of bread and that's all I am tasting. For the price of the sub at over $17 with tax, I should have more than just the taste of bread and barely any meat. Ridiculous is putting it too nicely. I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's for a long time and I've never had a complaint about the food . I usually get the famous Philly on rosemary parm bread and it has always taste fantastic . Relaxed atmosphere , quick service , area is always super clean . Just an overall great experience and a must have when looking for a sub. read more

I live 2 blocks away from this store. I worked in foodservice my whole life, so I also TIP GENEROUSLY. I USED to eat there 2-3 times a month. No more. . Today they got rid of me. You cannot treat good customers like this. I ordered a chicken Philly & paid, then I went back to tell the woman on the grill (long colorful braids) to add salt & pepper; I had forgotten to say so, and if you don't they don't season it. I asked her for that & saw that she was making a STEAK Philly. When I said "Is that steak for me?" she snapped back "You gonna STAND there the whole time I'm MAKIN' it?" What the HELL, lady?? That's your work attitude?? I blinked in shock that she would even say such a thing & said "No, but I ordered chicken." She pointed at my ticket & said "Your ticket says number 17, that's STEAK!" I said "I never said a number, I said chicken Philly, SHE (gesture at manager) wrote 17... but don't start over, I'll eat that one." The manager (petite woman) on the slicer interrupted me & snapped "MAKE HIM HIS CHICKEN!" I repeated (THIRD time) that I would eat the steak, that I didn't want to wait for the chicken. I had offered from the beginning to write my order down. l reminded the manager I had offered to write my order down & she said "No, you don't need to do that." I said "But... you got it wrong!" So she sighed & puffed and snapped at the grill person again, "MAKE HIM HIS CHICKEN!" I said "No, please don't! Like I said, I'll eat the steak" So she said (under her breath, but plenty loud, she wanted me to hear it) "Stop talkin' to me, then." Completely and unacceptably RUDE. This newer location is just what the areas needed. It has great parking, clean tables and floors, and wonderful staff who care about the process. I order on the mobile app quite frequently and once I got a call from the manager to say they were all out of what I wanted so they made a backup sub for me at no charge. That is the best customer service ever!! I will certainly be back because of how I am continually treated. I also love the fact that they carry cucumbers because not all JMIKES have them. As a vegetarian, having choices is amazing!! I love their rosemary parmasean bread, and it is always very fresh at this location. I really highly recommend this location if you find yourself looking for a fast but skillfully made meal. Check them out, and I'm sure you too will be impressed. read more

Great sandwiches but deducted a star because parking is so terrible. You'll be circling the small parking lot at the shopping center for at least 10 minutes. The property owners really should create more parking. There are several good places to visit in this shopping center, but there is not enough parking. read more

This location is brand spanking new. So yes, it is very clean and space is simple, no busy wall decor or clutter. I stopped in twice last week to pick up subs and wraps for tailgates. The staff was patient and kind with the orders and different condiments. The oil and vinegar are available on the side in a plastic ramekin to keep the bread fresh. No soggy rolls! If you download the app, you get points and specials texted to your phone. Since this location is across from my neighborhood I foresee a lot, a lot of orders this fall for tailgating. Three more pluses about this location: 1) it's easy to get in and out of the Oakhurst Commons; 2) you can stop in at Monroe Convenience Store across the street for drinks, beer, and wine; 3) right next door to the convenience store is the cheapest gas you will find in southeast Charlotte. While I eat here frequently, they never seem to be able to get a simple request of cutting my sandwich in 1/3s and not 1/2 quite right. Even when i used the app this time and out it in the request section. Also, I always forget to go here on Tuesdays, when they have a $7.99 special. And today (Tuesday) I finally did go there by chance, but I used the app, they didn't give me the special price. When I asked about it when I got there, they told me that it's only for dine in. Well, what's really the difference here? Especially with COVID-19 this should really not be a requirement. Quality food, they need to work just a little bit more on their customer service. read more

I ordered Pick-Up from DoorDash here, and not only did i get the WRONG order with the WRONG ingredients, but this location won't even pick up the phone to talk to me. I tried to contact them through the DoorDash app, and then i called 5 times and there was NO answer. I'm trying to stay in as much as possible during this crazy time, so the fact that i go out to grab food and it's incorrect? Infuriating. Absolutely infuriating. I cannot even eat this food because I'm allergic to onions and don't eat beef, and what's on here? Lots of roast beef and extra onions. read more

Very excited to have a JM near my house. I was running errands so I physically went to the location to place my to to order. Because it was a philly I had to wait for it. I told the person who wrote up my ticket what I wanted on it. I watched the person write down my request. Next I paid before it was made. Because they wanted me to wait to the side (since I paid), I was not involved in the sandwich process like everyone else. When I got home the sandwich was made wrong. It was still good just disappointing. The cold subs looked awesome. I'll go back, but next time tell them what happened so the get it correct. read more

Sooo I ordered a giant tuna with double meat and a bottled Pure Leaf Tea via Postmates. I wouldn't think you would have to tell anyone that tuna is made with mayonnaise. Not a drop of mayonnaise touched this tuna. They sent a fountain drink... who pays $3+ for a fountain drink? Honestly, I don't know if the drink of on the side of the restaurant or Postmates. I was VERY disappointed with this meal, as I had to pour out the drink and couldn't eat the sandwich. The only good thing was the chips. I want to thank Sadie and Feliciti for the incredible service they provided my daughter and I a couple weeks back. I was hustling to get my daughter Jersey Mike's at the Oakhurst location but was scared I wouldn't get there in time. So with 10 min til closing, I stopped at the JM on 7th Street only to be told that they were locking up and wouldn't serve me. I showed male worker that it was only 8:50p and he said, "Sorry, we go by what's on the register." Knowing it was complete BS and spoke more to his laziness, I jetted up to the Oakhurst location but called before arrival to let them know I may get there right at 9p. Sadie was gracious enough to assure me that they would wait for me, she took my order, they pulled out the supplies needed to make our subs (which they had just put away) and were awesome in the process.
