I had to take a moment to leave a review because the service I received from Anthony at Jersey Mike's was genuinely exceptional. From the second I walked in, he was welcoming, attentive, and clearly takes pride in what he does. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. He was patient, friendly, and handled everything with a level of professionalism you honestly don't see very often in fast-casual restaurants. You can tell he cares about the customers and about doing his job the right way. The sandwich was made exactly how I asked, everything was fresh, and the experience overall just felt easy and positive because of his attitude. Employees like Anthony are the reason people come back to the same location again and again. If you stop by this Jersey Mike's, I highly recommend asking for Anthony. It's Lent of course, which means that the Queen Bee and I refrain from meat until Easter. So when I found out that the idiot shop near me on Roosevelt no longer sells the Portobello Swiss hot sub, I was annoyed. I discovered that this shop still DOES offer it, so I ordered ahead online. App said it'd be ready at 4:46, which is when I got there from home. It was sitting there behind the counter and still warm when sammich dude gave it to me. I really don't like that I had to go six miles outta my way for this damn thing...however the plus side is that I drooled all the way home as I snorted in the beautiful bouquet of fungal finery. So in addition to the two title ingredients aforementioned, said sammie offers grilled onions and green peppers. I chose the rosemary Parmesan bread, which I heartily recommend with this one in particular; it helps in the overall flavor department. I am slightly disappointed by one very glaring omission, though. While all the flavors were certainly there, the mushrooms themselves were quite bland. I sensed that they weren't seasoned in the LEAST BIT on the grill. No salt, no pepper: NOTHING! That is something they need to address with their hired help. A simple shake or two of salt and pepper while them Shrooms are a-grillin' would turn a good sub into a great one. For sixteen damn dollars, I expect no less. If I could give three and a half stars, I would...but this DOES NOT merit four. Period. read more

Not the normal service lately at this Clearwater, FL store on McMullen Booth Rd. So tonight was the second time in a row my sandwich was made incorrectly via my online order via their App. For at least three years now the only sandwich I order is the #56 but ask for the #99 so the special Chipotle sauce is included. So I called the store just to politely confirm the crew knew what a #99 is. The employee who answered my phone call responds back to me with, "ah well ya, um we know." I explained to him that this was the second time in a row now and it's disappointing when you pay a good price for a sandwich and it's made incorrectly. I hear nothing and I finally say, hello? Are you there? This kid says, ah yup, I'm here. He says, well I guess he forgot. At this point I lost it and told him we will just go to a different location. He says goodbye. This kid didn't even apologize! Zero customer service and SO disappointed! They have great sandwiches at Jersey Mikes but the crew doesn't have a clue!!! read more

I ate here with co-workers on 11/30, which may have been their first day open to the public. One reason I think this is that they seemed to be over-staffed for mid-afternoon (2-3pm). I'm mentioning this because I am not a fan of reviews of sneak-peeks, and while mine was not a special visit, I'm also not sure what normal staffing looks like at a location of this size. In that vague context, service was excellent during my visit. Our sandwiches were also fantastic. As with all Jersey Mike's locations, each sandwich is made to order, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. Most other QSR sandwich chains can't compare. This location is in the same building as Starbucks in the Northwood Plaza, and has two entrances; one faces McMullen Booth Rd and the other entrance faces the Another Broken Egg Cafe. Parking is more plentiful on the McMullen Booth side; and although the plaza has an entrance immediately adjacent, its only accessible to southbound traffic. But however you enter the plaza, drive around to that side to park. Inside, the dining area is large with a lot of tables (no high-tops, as I've seen in another location), and the drink station is conveniently not in a walkway. Lots of windows on both sides of the unit make this a very bright and welcome place for tasty sandwich! read more

Food is good, but service is unimpressive. No one acknowledges you, and service is super slow. No one seems to happy to be there. If you plan to order from here you are better off to call ahead and pick it up - or wait a long time for anything hot. Good cheesesteaks, but easier to get other places. read more

I love Jersey Mike's but this place is a sty. Counter covered in food scraps. Every table dirty. Booth seats dirty. Napkin dispensers empty. And don't get me started on the floor. Staff is friendly enough but I walked in before noon and it's like they couldn't care about cleaning. I'm going back to the Oldsmar store from now on. read more

I'm a huge Jersey Mike's fan. When my sandwich is made correctly, it is so tasty & fulfilling. The meats are sliced fresh in front of you, & the bread is usually fresh & satisfying. The problems start at the next station where the sandwich is dressed with the toppings you choose. There are like a dozen bins with toppings, & as the customer rattles them off, the employee has to pay close attention. Sometimes that doesn't happen. Today when I ordered my sandwich I asked for everything out of the bins except mayo & jalapeños. The worker however threw jalapeños on. I had to ask him then to remove them. Then there are bottles of oil, vinegar, & seasonings. I said all I want is vinegar. He poured vinegar on, & then poured oil on until I stopped him. This type of thing happens often at Jersey Mike's. Anyway it's an above average tasting sandwich, but only if they get it correct, LOL. I find I appreciate places that have ordering kiosks. When you order through a kiosk, mistakes seem to be much more rare. read more
