I'm a regular at Jersey Mike's but not a this particular location. Having been out of town, we were on our way home from the airport knowing the frig was empty. So, when I spotted Jersye Mike's - I heard dinner calling. Much as my regular Jersey Mike's location, the staff at this store were friendly and efficent - and - of course the subs were excellent. We were there around 6:30-7:00 and they were actually quite busy - there were 6 or 7 subs ahead of mine, but I was still served promptly and with a smile. Jersey Mike's is my favorite of the huge chains. They've been advertising a "hot Italian" sub, and I was over this way, so I tried it out. Busy at 1:15 on a weekday, end of the lunch rush, apparently. Multiple people behind the counter, working hard. Slicing the meat seems to be what takes the most time. They were professional, but not wordy. Took my order, got it going since it has to be grilled, and kept working on the rest of the orders. Counter, phone, pick up, etc. The sub came out in about 10 minutes. Fresh and hot. Loads of meats (ham, salami, pepp,) grilled onions, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes. All on good bread. Oh, and provolone cheese, nicely melted. All the flavors and textures work together really well. It's a little spicy, really not much, but enough to add some flavor. The 8 inch was enough for a light lunch for me. I would definitely get another one. I hope it sticks around and is not just limited time. Prices are decent for the quality and quality. The place was a little dirty, again after the lunch rush, they just hadn't had a chance to wipe the tables. Parking is street only and somewhat scarce, I'm sure especially at peak times. read more

I love Jersey Mike's but this location... don't order delivery. I gave it one more shot because I am home sick today and, of course, my order was screwed up. How do you forget the relish on a sub in which that is your main thing? The appropriate box is checked on my order, I've checked my receipt and it does ask for the relish. I got the giant sub too. So I'd have a couple meals. All with no relish or extra pickles per my request. (Last time they didn't give me the extra pepperoni I paid for.) read more

I have eaten at many different Jersey Mike's locations if you cannot already tell. The staff all get to know me as a regular at each. My order varies based on the day. What brought me to this location today was it was close to my previous meeting I had and I needed something quick before the next meeting. Therefore I went for a sub because I needed something to sustain me for that hour meeting. The #7 turkey sub is great at doing just that. #7 Turkey sub comes with turkey, provolone cheese and any toppings you choose. I usually go with lettuce, tomato, and Mike's Way which is just oil and vinegar. Along with some sprinkled oregano. The staff here put everything I like on that sub and were nice and friendly at the same time. I ate my sub in half an hour and proceeded to my next destination and yes I ran into the bat mobile like my check in said. The staff is always so friendly and they make great subs! I love how Jersey Mike's slices the meat for my sub in front of me. And I especially love getting my sub "Mike's way, no onion." The vinegar, oil and spices add great flavors to the cold subs. My only complaint is that it is often slow, especially if you get a sub that requires the grill. I don't get to have a Jersey Mike's sub very often and when I do, I tend to get a Club Supreme. I just like the way good roast beef and turkey blend. I do like one other sub place, but for differnet reason's and besides, today I was in the mood for Mike's When I discovered Jersey Mike's a few years back, I tried it "Mike's Way" and have never looked back. Jersey Mike's makes their sub's the way they advertise them. The picture on the advertisement and the way it looks when they serve it are the same. I don't know of any other sub shop where this is also true. The food today was excellent. The same way it is every time I go to this location in Bexley. I highly recommend Jersey Mike's. I happened upon this Jersey Mike's while at an event on Capital University's campus. I was in need of a quick bite to eat and was about to get a burrito at first but then I saw Jersey Mike's and was like shoot let me go here instead. I was not disappointed. The customer service was pretty good. They had a huge call ahead order that they needed to fulfill and while they were doing that, they worked 2 other customers and myself in and expedited our orders very quickly. They greeted us and with a smile and helped us make a decision in terms of what to get. I got a simple sandwich. A mini turkey, bacon, lettuce sandwich with oil oregano, salt and pepper on it. Let me tell you that when I say that this sandwich was freaking delicious, I am not pulling your leg. The freshness of the bread and the cold cut itself was majestic. This is the thing that I have come to love about Jersey Mike's. It reminds me of going to the bodegas back home in New York and grabbing a hero. read more

If they get your order wrong you will have to go way back over there and see if they will correct it. I dont live close so this was a big disappointment. Paid $10 for 1/2 of a sub. It wasn't anything special. The sub I chose came with bacon and cheese on it, but I had to tell them to put both on the sub. They did not include cheese. I work in Bexley and have no idea why I haven't eaten here before. I used to visit other locations years ago because they'll make any of their subs in a tub (basically a salad), so my bread-fearing self can eat a full meal here. Only downside is that parking is basically on the street unless you park illegally in another merchant's lot. I either go early or late during lunchtime when visiting to guarantee I can find parking. Nice people, quick service, clean interior, food is sliced/carved to order and they have a rewards program. I'm a sucker for a loyalty program! Only downside - make sure you tell them if you want a little or a lot of something. I asked for some of their cherry pepper relish on my sub in a tub and they PILED it on. I unfortunately was paying when they were putting in on there or I could've asked them to maybe take some off. My mouth was on fire the entire lunch. read more

They forgot to deliver us an expensive sub and refused to even acknowledge us; even corporate ignored our pleas for recompense. Worst experience ever with a restaurant. Advised staff vegetarian order which usually means the staff will clean the slicer. The woman was dumbfounded and said "ok". I said you need to clean the slicer(which had a lump of turkey sitting out and in it). She was annoyed and said she didn't understand, then the manager swooped in and said I'll do it! He said let me get a towel and proceeded to clean the slicer with just a dry towel. Bits of turkey was still on parts the cheese. Look I get it, the meat eaters have their cheese so the cheese still gets dem meaty chunks but at least try to fool my "I got to get food in my belly that doesn't have meat" brain. Soooo I ate my sandwich, it was late (15 minutes before they closed) but if you don't eat meat, avoid this location! Now I'm bummed because since it opened (2 years ago) I have either gotten an attitude when I've been in store, have had missing drinks on ALL Uber orders and missing or wrong items on all take out orders. I love jersey mikes... usually. Ordered a chx parm sandwich like i get at other locations. I was dumbfounded to watch the manager put the chicken ina microwave (store was empty so they weren't busy) throws the microwaved chicken on cold bread sprinkled some cheese and wrapped it. As he handed the sandwich to me, i asked if the grill was broken, he replied "no, that will be $12.24" totally oblivious to the idea that he should have cooked it on the grill and melted the provolone, and maybe asked me what toppings i might want. It seems like there are always new people in there that have never made a sandwich in their lives. The sweet/unsweet tea canisters are never full past like 4pm and the selection of chips is awful.
