My Bride got the Frigga sandwich - a beef patty with bacon, caramelized onion, Gouda cheese and grilled pineapple tidbits. At $11.50, it's reasonably priced, and must have been good- she wolfed it down like it was Tyr's hand. We opted for combos so we both got tater tots crispy enough to do ASMR videos with and drinks- they have both fountain and bottled drinks available. We had one of each. With Newport News' exorbitant meals tax, lunch came to $46 before tip. I'm not even mad about it- it was worth every penny. An excellent meal with some great customer service. When we brought this to the employee's attention, he became argumentative and refused to provide the pita chips, despite my email confirmation clearly showing they had been paid for. He repeatedly interrupted me and suggested I was talking over him instead of simply addressing the issue. He eventually added the missing sauces to the bag, but did so with visible frustration. Mistakes happen, but the way this concern was handled was disappointing and not the level of customer service I expected from CAVA.
