They have a stage area which has seen better days. And the bathrooms are set up in a way which can be uncomfortable. I didn't even bother using it here. With the food, it was okay. I can tell the food wasn't homemade, especially the shrimp, but it was plenty to where I took some home for leftovers. Now here's where we run into issues. First off, the service was very slow. Keep in mind, it wasn't packed inside so it was no excuse for the waitresses to keep us waiting, especially for delivering drinks. Second, I ordered a Hoss's Hawaiian drink which was underwhelming. There wasn't even garnish on the glass. A drink with no pineapple, cherry or an orange slice....come on. Finally, their music selection was suspect. The first couple of songs included Judas Priest, Linkin Park and Nickelback, typical rock songs at a bar. Then, came acts like....Lisa Loeb and Dave Matthews Band??? I thought I was in a dive bar where bikers hung out, not a supermarket shopping for groceries. Me and some of the people were even laughing about it. Overall, not a good experience. They offered chips which I agreed to but the chips didnt make it to my table. Still the chicken salad was delicious. Just regular good chicken salad with mayo and nothing fancy. I loved it. My daughter in law got the Greek Salad. She ate every bite. Granddaughter got chicken nuggets and fries and she actually ate some. Being a picky toddler it's hit or miss. It comes with milk or soda but they had no milk. Instead they brought her a full size adult sweet tea and she burst into very disruptive tears until the super kind hostess brought her a smaller cup with a lid. They offer deli pickles on the house and my son said they were like a dill pickle and very good. The wood bench booths were nice and kept toddler happy to be up close to the table. They do have high chairs but not for use at the booths. They offer free lunch time delivery within 9 miles and their take out business seemed brisk. It seems that they are only open until 3 unless I am wrong about that, because they are a perfect place for supper. So the lack of menu items like soup, milk, and the forgotten chips with my sandwich would normally result in about 4 stars all things considered, but given how accommodating they were, even bringing out food to the cranky toddler first, the very reasonable price and the good food, I'm sticking with 5 stars.
