If you have never been to Jersey Mike's than shame on you. If you want fresh, sliced immediately upon ordering meats and cheeses this is the place. I've been to a few JM's across the country. First time at this one and I have to say the staff here today was fabulous! So nice and polite and incredibly efficient. I didn't see any name tags so can't call anyone out for stupendous service but I want you to know I am a very happy customer. Ordered the Club Sub. Got a giant size for half for dinner. I went into Jersey Mike's 10/10/2020 and upon arrival I was promptly greeted! I've been coming to this location for 5 years now, its my favorite Jersey Mikes location because of the staff's friendliness. Well today I got some big news from a familiar face who I've seen countless times over the years her name is Katie she's always been so kind and helping every time we come in with our kids. Awesome, awesome, awesome! It amazes me how jerk-ish people can be to a restaurant and its staff when they are eating for free. I went each of the first couple of days and found myself embarrassed to be an Elmhurstian. This staff and its managers were kicking butt, a bit weeded but still smiling and working, and I saw at least 8 people over the two days, with free coupons in hand, that made silly complaints (such as raising a big stink because they wouldn't include double meat for their free coupon) or was just downright rude to both the staff and fellow customers. One lady had 7, yes 7 free coupons, each of her sandwiches had significant "instructions" to them, and while it was taking a little longer than the average McDonald's, she had the gull to loudly complain to the customers around her how she didn't expect this place to survive because they were slow. I told her she was high maintenance and to keep her negative attitude to herself. That went over like a fart in church but how can you try to take business away from a family giving you free food? Overall, after the first few kinks are worked out, I will be eating here often. Best sub shop around!!! I highly recommend this gem of a sandwicheria. read more

I can't think of a better way to describe my experience here than one big clusterf**k. I went for lunch and it was crowded. There were probably 30 people in the place. I saw signs that said "order here," phone orders." etc.. or something like that but it was complete chaos. There are a bunch of people behind the counter and then people standing on the other side pushing their way to the front to place their order. Just like the deli at Jewel or something. I heard a guy say "next" so I went up to the counter and placed my order. He then gave me a slip of paper. Um, okay, what am I supposed to do with this? He said to take it to the register. So do I get my sandwich first or go pay or what? I take it to the register and he says, "what did you have?" Why are you asking me that, you have it written down on the paper. Anyway, I paid for it and they said they will call you when it's ready. So where do I go, I guess, I'll just stand with the rest of the people at the counter. The guy behind the counter looks and me and says, "can I take your order?" Ugh, just give me my sandwich!!! So I finally get my sandwich and get the heck out of there. The actual sandwich was okay, nothing special. Bread was okay, very Subway like but the meat is better. I'd rather have Jimmy Johns. If I'm in the area and starving I may go back again. I'll cut them some slack for being a newly opened business and hopefully they are still working out the kinks. Don't go out of your way to stop here though, there's an Arby's across the street that I'm sure will leave you less frazzled. read more

What a great place! I stopped here after a trip to Walmart for a small lunch snack. I have had their subs before, but nothing really outstanding and wonderful. For 1pm, the store was surprisingly empty. The one man greeted me instantly, and proceeded to joke around with me which made me smile! That's a big thing for me, if you can make me smile you have my business for life! I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The rest of my journey down the food line was wonderful, both the guys working were cracking jokes and being silly. It really made the experience all that much more relaxed for me! They were even sad that I was taking it "to go"! A wonderful bunch of boys, I can't rave enough about them. Back to the food! My wrap was outstanding! The right amount of everything wrapped up in a warm tortilla shell. Extremely filling too. The soup was great as well, a very good thing to eat on a cold day. I highly recommend this place, and try a wrap! They are 100x better than the subs! read more

This is the best sandwich chain shop in the area. Their bread is high quality. The deli meats are sliced in front of you when your sandwich is made. They also have hot sub options which are also made in front of you on the grill. They have 3 high definition televisions so there is a reason to dine in and enjoy your meal unlike most other chain sandwich shops which want you out of there as fast as possible. read more

Three most important words ever, kids eat free (on Sunday). We go there every week. Now they know what we want to order and how to make our order. Since it's in Dupage county, I tell kids we are "taking a trip out of town." North Ave is a nice drive though! Very kid friendly, always clean and great staff. read more

This is DIRECTED at Jersey Mike's in Elmhurst, IL. but eventually applies to every Jersey Mike's in the country. I used to eat at Jersey Mike's in Elmhurst regularly , amongst several others, until a little over a year ago. I stopped in for lunch to go, ordering two sandwiches. I hit the road and dove into their take on the Philly Cheese steak . I was heading to the Schaumburg area, on i355 and about halfway done with the sandwich, when I felt a sharp excruciating pain in my jaw. Somewhere between their meat vendor, and THAT store, a piece of alloy type metal made its way into my sandwich. Now, I don't like to complain, EVER, as you may have noticed from earlier reading that this post has taken over a year. I went a couple days before saying anything to the store manager. My first thought, was that the pain would subside in a couple days. but after 2 weeks of EXTREME sensitivity, not being able to chew on my left side, and about 2 bottles of Aspirin, I decided to go to the dentist. Dentist says what I have is basically just a bone bruise and that the sensitivity should go away in a few days. Again, another two weeks go by and I go to see the dentist AGAIN. They tell me the same thing and to follow up in two weeks if the pain persists. It's been well over a month of me dealing with this pain, Jersey Mike's corporate says this is an individually owned store, so somehow, THEIR HANDS ARE CLEAN OF THIS MESS, and the insurance company I am told to deal with, THEY DON'T EVER RETURN MY CALLS. My mother suggested I try going to her dentist at this point. Not even a week after going to my last appt. with that dentist, EVER, I am seen by her dentist. Within the first five minutes, they're telling me something is wrong, that it's not just a "bone bruise" and the pain will not go away. An examination and an X-Ray later, the tooth is fractured down to the root and I will need a root canal. That brings me to where I am today. Several visits to the dentist and a crown later, I have spent over $1400 on TWO SANDWICHES at Jersey Mike's! The insurance still refuses to call me back. I didn't ask for anything but the reimbursement of my dental bills. Maybe I should see an attorney, I don't know. What I do know is that a piece of metal and their lack to take responsibility, has turned a once loyal customer, into someone who will NEVER, EVER, STEP FOOT IN A JERSEY MIKE'S LOCATION AGAIN. NOR WILL I EVER HAVE ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THEM. THE TIMES WHERE I BRING PEOPLE THERE FOR LUNCH, AND SUGGEST TO FIRST TIMERS THEY TRY THEIR SUBS, THOSE TIMES ARE OVER. To those who haven't tried them, don't bother. it's not worth the risk of having to pay over a grand. If you're thinking of eating at Jersey Mike's, keep driving. I assure you, there's a PANERA nearby. read more

You've got to love J-Mikes! I don't eat here super often because the sandwiches are kind of spendy, but definitely worth it on occasion. Make sure to sign up for their shore points rewards (which never expire) and eventually you get a free sandwich! If you don't get your sandwich "mikes way", your a complete fool and you don't deserve this place. Mikes way changed my freaking life. They also have killer cheesesteaks. read more

This is my first experience with Jersey Mike's subs . So I might try then again, I did like my sub , but I didn't enjoy it much because the person making the sandwiches seem to have his glove on for every customer that order their sub. I wouldn't mine every two or three order but when he went to the side to open food doors and wipe down counter with the same terry towel and knife handle he also wipe the counter with his hands and still the same glove on. I was about to ask him change gloves but he was moving fast, because it was so busy, If the employee had NAME TAG on i would had call out is Name ask to change them. i like fact they hire a person to keep the tables clean. read more

We really enjoyed our sandwiches, but even more so the employees. I like great customer service (who doesn't) and I wasn't disappointed my first time here. I arrived 10 minutes to close and felt awful. However, Griffin, Tony and Matt were super friendly and told me to take my time. This is the first bad review i ever gave and probably will give. If you are a vegetarian stay away. Only options they have for vegetarians is the grilled veggie wrap and the cold veggie sandwich and i wouldn't recommend cold it because the only veggie they will put on there is basically green peppers, tomato and lettuce. The grilled veggie is the only one I get. Any other Jersey mikes in St Charles and Geneva will do it in any sandwich size. They told me they would make it in regular size. What I ended up paying $7 and and some change just for small 4 inch size sandwich. Will never go there and would rather spend my money else where. They will not listen and will not cater to you. read more

Terrible customer service. Wanted me to bring back a honey mustard bomb they call a turkey wrap as it literally was oozing on the counter at 8:45pm at night. Instead I ask to just take my name and trust me as I come in 3 days a week and Charlie once again like a robot repeats that this is not only the return policy but the way they make their wraps. Sick! twice my husband has picked up subs from jersey mike's. Both times I say, "Turkey with brown mustard and all the vegetables they have except hot peppers. Both times I get 4-5 slices turkey, 7 slices of pickles, 2 slices of tomato, a few pieces of onion and LETTUCE. No olives, no green peppers, etc.... I will stick with subway read more

After a long days work, I stopped in today to order a sandwich with a free coupon I had been holding onto for some time. I had the Original Italian in mind but switched over to the Chipotle Cheese Steak. What a huge mistake this was, the Chipotle Cheese Steak had no kick to the sauce, and with all the sauce that was put on it felt like I was eating sweet and sour flavored yogurt.
