Yelpers came through, yet again! The food we ordered and service were excellent! The better half ordered their Twisted Cuban sandwich and although I had a sandwich already picked out (from their online menu) in my mind, they had a daily special on the board that caught my interest - a prime rib double patty burger w/ cheeses. The chef explained how she prepares the patties and cooks them up - SOLD! I went for it, and so happy I did! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had - BURP! Whatever the seasonings were (I have no doubt she told me, but forgot) were great and the meat was so tender and juicy (not greasy). I've had pleasant dreams about this burger ever since. It came with homemade chips too, which were good. The Twisted Cuban was also enjoyed by the wife. Although we will return when we visit Mount Dora and my goal will be to have one of their delicious looking sandwiches I may have to have that darn burger again if they happen to have it on their specials board! They sell a few prime cuts of meat from a small display case, which is something I would consider if I lived locally. Or, maybe I'll just have to bring a cooler the next time.

Meat is fresh and Service is great. I wasn't sure what I wanted on one of the meats and sliced it for me and let me taste it just to see if it was something I wanted to invest in. I cannot imagine going to another meat market for my cold cuts now that I've experienced their customer service. Their hours are verified online, but it's easy to park and run into them at the corner. While I was there, I noticed several people came in to get sandwiches and their Service was friends and multiple people were saying how much they liked it. They have a few tables indoors as well as outdoors where you can sit different sandwich and have something to sip on as well. Nothing fancy here, but definitely delectable.

The Southern burger was great, but I tossed off the raw onions as I absolutely hate them, and added the lovely pickled onions from my wife's salad, which gave the perfect amount of flavor and color. Don't you agree? Give me a LIKE if you do !!! The crepe was next level. Delicate crepe, very soft ripe bananas, sauce was not disgustingly sugary, and the vanilla ice cream was smooth and soft, not icy and sweet. Dunno what brand they use, or if they churn the cream fresh in-house, but it made my day.

There are lots of delightful restaurants there (according to yelpers) but many were located downtown and parking was hard to find so we decided to go to Fifth Avenue Streatery since we had driven by and there was lots of parking. All of which the tables are outside on a charming patio with lots of interesting decor. It was 11:30 so the day was pleasant and sitting outside was fine. Not sure how I would feel about that in August. Our waitress was Haley (guessing at the spelling) and she was bubbly and very attentive. The menu wasn't overwhelming and I always think that's a good sign that most of the food is being prepared fresh and not pulled from a freezer. My mom ordered the fish sandwich with tomato and cucumber salad. After ordering the Italian Haley said they were out of beef until the owner arrived so I went for the day's special which was a seafood basket: two pieces of fried fish, four huge shrimp and clam strips. Clam strips are not my favorite but these were very crisp and tasty. It was served with fries and cold slaw. We both agreed the food was very good. I asked for some cocktail sauce and after a few minutes she came back with saying she had to make some. It was fantastic, very horseradish forward which I loved. I am glad we couldn't locate our first two choices since we got to eat at this funky little place and have the best server in all of Mt. Dora.

My only hesitation on going back is it's kinda high priced. But it's very popular among people in the area and offers a huge variety of selection. Comes with side of tomato soup (in a sauce cup) which was refreshing and bright and this spicy mayo (I assumed) which was soo good and a bit smoky. The only thing about that sandwich is that I was expecting to have kimchi in it and I only found it to have this purple cabbage which isn't kimchi so kind of misleading. My boss had mac grilled cheese (the one with ribeye) and said the macaroni made it a bit blend so for more flavor you should probably go with classic grilled cheese sandwiches. He also complained about ground beef in his sandwich so if you expect cut pieces of ribeye I guess that's not what you would get. I had a good experience with my sandwich though except kimchi! The location is really cool and hipsterish. Outside seating is the best part! Service was fairly quick (within 15 minutes).

Jessica is awesome...friendly, attentive, and always has a smile on her face. God Bless her. Last weekend was a different story...I won't mention her name but the waitress we had last week was extremely rude. When I asked for 1/2 Peach 1/2 Unsweetened Tea the waitress went on to berate me and argue on how the tea is already made that way...my mom asked for water no ice and her response was "we don't have a button for that." Needless to say, I got an extremely sweet tea that my husband had to go up to the counter to change. I'd like to think the woman was having a bad day...but I truly doubt that's the case. For some strange reason it just seems to me that the woman is racist or just needs to go find Jesus. With all that said, I truly doubt that we are the first or will the be the last to bring this up and if management takes a look...I am sure they will know who I'm referring to. We love Peach Tree and will definitely be coming back...because we won't let one bad peach ruin it for the rest of us.

Used to be a favorite spot for breakfast…read more This morning we went for breakfast and I brought my latte from home as usual. I was told to take it out to the car or leave. New no outside beverage policy. They don't offer lattes and we were all ordering breakfast, not just sitting around drinking coffee from home. Was told they make most of their money off coffee? Isn't it like $3 with refills? Not like I bought my own eggs. Cool. Left and went to waffle house. Prob wont be back. So, they lost $30-$40 in sales because of a $3 coffee? Sound business decision.

The restaurant was not too busy when we got there. Our friends were already seated and waiting for us. There had ordered water for the table and had their coffees. Joshua appeared shortly after we exchanged pleasantries with our group. He checked in and we ordered coffee as well. He returned with the coffee and took all our orders. Two of our friends frequent the cafe weekly so he already knew what they wanted. The rest of us were able to order. We received our food in a reasonable time. Joshua and Kim checked in periodically to make sure we didn't need anything and kept the coffee flowing. I had the Pot Roast Omelette with Home Fries and a Biscuit. It was ok. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I would recommend the cafe adding fresh fruits to the menu. By the time we got ready to leave, there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We had to sidled out the door. The cafe is quaint and popular with the locals of Mount Dora. I am open to returning and trying something else on the menu.

A quaint little town northwest of Orlando…read more There's shopping, some nice little restaurants, and a big ol' lake that you can rent a catboat on and drive it around. That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Cons: Not a single con. A great little visit. Tips: The menu has completely changed since we went, which is good, so I can't recommend any specific dishes.
