Total incompetence and bait and switch at this shop. I know it's dog eat dog world but squeezing the little guy out is really why this country is going to hell in a hand basket. The shop advertised that kids eat free on Sunday. No small print saying only basic turkey or ham sandwich. When I order the kid sandwich, the lady making it doesn't say anything even though I told her I am only ordering a kid sandwich because of the Sunday promotion. I already ordered a giant sandwich of the same kind that I could have split with my kid. When we get to the cash register, a heavyset gal explains to me that I got the wrong sandwich unbeknownst to me. The other gal who made the sandwich says there was too much going on and she was overwhelmed. There was only one person ahead of me. The heavyset gal proceeds to charge me for a mini sandwich instead of giving it free as the promotion advertised. When I ask her about it she said only the plain turkey or ham sandwich qualifies as a kid sandwich. None of it is on the signage anywhere. To add insult to injury, I ask her about using my shore points. She proceeds to charge me for a regular sandwich depleting my shore points, even though I ended up with a mini sandwich I wouldn't have ordered had I known about this bait and switch scheme. I like Jersey Mike's and go there 3-6 days a week, but I was shocked when I stopped at this location tonight. It was gross! I ordered a veggie sandwich and the slicer was very gross, with remnants of meat and cheese on the blade and all over the machine. It is not like they were busy at the time, no one else was there but me. They had time to keep the machine clean, just didn't do it. As they started cutting the cheese to put on my sandwich, I mentioned how I was grossed out and didn't want to contaminate my veggie sandwich with remnants of meat. Thankfully the worker stopped, recognized the problem and cleaned the machine. But she used on barely damp rag for the entire machine, never once rising the rag to clear away what it already picked up. As a result, the remnants moved from one part of the machine to another until she wiped them from the machine to the floor. Nope, not eating here at this location. I value my wellness. read more

Having eaten at both this location and also the Jersey Mike's in Lacey, I can truthfully say Jersey Mike's is just average. They could be better quite easily though. We did an online order for lunch time. We had an hour window to eat our food, and ordered before our window started. About 30 minutes later, we headed over to pick up our sandwiches. My coworker waited for about an hour for our PRE-ORDERED sandwiches! So in total, to make three sandwiches, it took over an hour and a half. He had to ask about the sandwiches multiple times.... and still nothing. Finally he asked if he could just cancel the order and go through the line to order. They said no and that they were making them now. Mind you, we pre-paid for them... and was never offered anything or any reimbursement for the sandwiches that had taken so long to make. While, I understand busy lunch rushes... this was absolutely unacceptable. Really disgraceful, and that's just the service side of things... It was THE. WORST. SANDWICH. I have ever attempted to consume. The bacon was HARD. And, I do not mean crispy... I mean HARD. I couldn't even bite through it and ended spitting it out. The sandwich was terrible. The absolute worst sandwich I've ever had. I ordered via DoorDash on a late Tuesday afternoon. My food arrived fast via DoorDash from the Fife location. My order that I placed. Regular Original Italian Vicki's Jalapeño Chips Fudge Brownie What I received: Original Italian Baked Lays 2 small chocolate chip cookies I was dismayed to receive nasty baked chips and two tiny cookies instead of my flavorful jalapeño chips and delicious brownie. (Especially since the brownie costs more than the cookies and I was not reimbursed the difference). I understand restaurants sell out of things, but I'm baffled how they didn't have the items on a Tuesday afternoon? Long before closing? But that wasn't even the worst part. The sandwich was disgusting. When I placed the order I purposely removed some items. Oil, vinegar and salt. Why? Because I didn't want a wet sandwich. I have oil and vinegar at home and could add it to the sandwich myself. And why add salt to a sandwich? Despite this, I received a grossly wet sandwich. A sandwich that was so wet at the bottom, the wrapper was saturated. It was disgusting. The sandwich felt like it sat in a puddle of something wet on the counter while they prepared it. It was putrid, I'm shocked they would send it to a customer. My idea, deconstruct the sandwich and use bread I had at home as there was plenty of meat on the sandwich. But when I pulled the sandwich apart, it got worse. Upon closer inspection, the thinly sliced tomatoes on top looked old. Like weeks old and the little tiny strips of lettuce were dripping wet and wilted. Why was the lettuce so wet? Why were the tomatoes so old and alien looking? What did the sandwich sit in? Why was the bottom portion of the bread falling apart while the top portion of the bottom half of the bread was drier? There were no wet ingredients asked for... how did the bread get so disgustingly wet, wet enough to make the sandwich inedible?! Concerned about the quality of the meat on the sandwich due to the clear lack of quality control, I threw the sandwich away made a tuna sandwich and ate the baked chips with it. I'll begin my review with that I find these people competent for the introductory training that they received. This place opened up 2 months ago and they are doing a great job for what little training they received. Secondly, your accusations of the employees DEMANDING $15 is a bit pretentious- especially if you proved yourself to be a difficult customer. #12 is not on the menu at all. It is a made up secret menu item. If I go into Target and demand that they show me to some live unicorns, they're going to have no idea what I am talking about. Mikes Way is made with olive oil, which is probably why they were confused as to your request to add mayo (double the fat calories -yuck!!!!). And HP is the ticket annotation for hot peppers.... Just felt super inclined to point out your own mistakes that made you a terrible customer. Everyone should try working a customer service job at least once! I hated when I had mine several years ago. People are so rude and difficult - not unlike your self! So back to this specific Jersey Mike's Location - I have hated sandwiches my entire life- useless cold bits of meat with veggies on soggy bread -ewww. Yay. So happy they opened a shop closer to me April 29, 2015. Walked in and promptly greeted by staff. Exact same menu as nationwide locations. They have a reward program and if you register online or in store fast and easy you can receive text notices for future deals or same day deals such double reward point days . Although they are not the cheapest sandwhich shop which could be a downside for some might be worth it, because they offer far better tasting sandwiches then the other chains we've become familiar with. Three alternate fresh baked breads are also hands above the other chain places in freshness, chew and taste. Inside you can sit down to eat at table and chairs. No booths. Its bright interior is also nice. The downside if there were any other issue could be noise level..but busy is a good thing in my opinion. It won't be like that all the time. They offer free WiFi which the name wasn't what I was told, but its just a matter of changing it through their server. Ask what the SSID is or you can just use the free Xfinity in the area. The flat panel TV is in the corner to your left when you walk in, so if you intend to sit a while, its hard to view it from some of the tables. Might have been better putting it flat against the left wall that goes towards the restrooms. All in all, I'm glad I don't have to drive over to Auburn anymore Oh....I bought a 7 inch order of the Big Kahuna (a cheesesteak sandwhich) and paid to have bacon added but it was 1 strip which I won't do again. The bacon was perfectly crispy though.. You can switch cheeses too. Its a dry sandwhich unless you ask for Mayo and Mustard. They don't add any kind of sauce. I forgot today, so when I got home I added mayo and my spicy brown mustard. It would be less flavorful without it. After I visited Jersey Mike's in mid-April, I wrote to the store manager as well as the company's CEO about my experience. No one has responded. It appears that the corporation as well as the local business is completely unconcerned about customer service. Dear Mr. Paul Shine: My wife and I were looking forward to ordering one of your sandwiches as we had not tried Jersey Mike's before and were curious after seeing the ads on FOX. It appeared that the food was exceptional. I used the mobile app to place an order at 4:20 pm for pick up at 4:40 pm on April 17 at the Fife, WA store (4756 Pacific Hwy. E). I ordered a regular big Kahuna Chicken Cheese Steak for $8.93. When I arrived there, there was no record of my order. So I placed another order, which got rung up as a giant. I didn't raise a fuss so I went to pay for it and was told it was $20 and some cents. So I asked about the 25 percent discount, which the server had forgotten to give me, and then I paid $16 and some cents. I was then given a regular sandwich. I said I paid for a giant. The server then made me another regular. By now it was 5:05 pm and after spending 30 minutes waiting for my order, I was ready to leave. I asked for my receipt and was told that it could not be found. Totally disappointed with the experience, I left for home. When I got home, I opened the sandwiches and was horrified to learn that both sandwiches were BEEF not chicken as I had ordered. My wife and I don't eat beef so I gave the sandwiches to a neighbor. I did try to call the store to let them know that I got the wrong order, but no one answered the phone and the voice mailbox was full. You know that a customer's first experience with a business colors his view and I can certainly tell you that mine was certainly not what I expected. The total disregard for customer service and lack of attention to detail at this Jersey Mike's location is appalling. All I can say is that this store (as well as all the branches after reading comments) needs a real manager trained to handle the eatery properly and employ trained kids/adults (no one seems to be trained for the eatery to give customers what they expect; and the price of the smallest sandwich was laughable -- just expensive!!!). I stopped by Sunday around noon on July 12 after a night at Emerald Queen. Jersey Mike's was empty except for myself and the two nice young gentleman behind the counter. One took my order while the other prepared my sandwich. They didn't mind making two sandwiches with different toppings out of one large sandwich. They got my order right, carried on a lively conversation, even cut it into quarters and labeled which one had extra mayo and tomatoes. I was in and out the door within 5 minutes. I've visit the franchise's in Auburn and Tukwila but the Fife location has been the best so far. I wasn't even asked to wear my Covid 19 mask but had it near by just in case. I don't normally tip at takeout but made an exception. I would have given 5 stars except for location, parking and traffic.
