I've been fighting myself over this review because this place was my daughter's first job when they first opened years ago the owners came from the East Coast. The food was hot and delicious. My daughter loved working there and the owners are so nice but the other day I came back to the store because I was so happy that they were still there with the same owners. It was a happy moment for me until I got my spicy chicken on a biscuit. It wasn't spicy my meal did not have the hashbrowns with it, when I told the girl at the window that they are missing my hashbrowns she charged me for more hashbrowns. She said the lady forgot to make it a meal. Everybody has a bad day so I'm hoping that's what happened here because this is not what I remembered from your past. The restaurant has always been clean and tidy the food has always been absolutely hot and delicious then employees are trained to be alert and on top of things they've always had a smile on their face so you see my dilemma when I got the spicy chicken sandwich, it tasted like the coating had not been put on it. Food aside (you like fried chicken sandwich or frosted lemonade, right?!), I have had great pick-up experience every time (3+). If you don't want to wait in the drive thru line (which can be quite long during lunch hours), and don't mind walking a few steps inside, use the "pick up order" feature on the app. They will start preparing it as soon as you arrive in the parking lot (tracked by GPS). There is a designated parking area for pickup, which allows you to skip the long drive thru line. I've gotten my food less than 5 minutes every time. This is my hometown, Chick-fil-A. Overall, I have very few problems at this location. Employees are always super nice (absolutely LOVE Gloria!). They're fast, efficient & very rarely do they screw up. When they do, they acknowledge it and make up for it. Sometimes they do forget to put condiments in so always check before you leave. Definitely recommend this location. It's in the top three locations in Washington that I've been to. So I asked the staff for recommendation and his preference was the chicken sandwich with no sauce. I went with that. The sandwich was ok. Very plain. Not say dry but it felt like something was missing. It was literally fried chicken with pickle tucked between a bun. The chicken was seasoned but it was a bit salty for me. There a worker there, I forget her name, but she is always very friendly. She walks around and talks to everyone and remembers me and my 4 yr.old niece by name. Came here Tuesday around 1pm, I noticed that they had staff directing cars where to drive in their parking lot. They set up 3 lanes and took my order at my window. They offer paper menus and were very polite. I ordered a 6 piece grilled nuggets kids meal with apple juice and a chik fil a deluxe sandwhich meal for me and my hubs to share. In this location , I saw them cutting a fresh potato to cook. They have the best fries specially dip with their special chick Fil A sauce. I like how the place is always so clean and have this cute flower on the side that's actually real :P. I love the songs they play in the background. Not many places play christian songs anymore. They are not greedy when it comes to extra sauce. They'll even give you more than what you ask for. The store in Federal Way (PAC Hwy.) was suffering from construction going on right in the parking lot, but management had the situation under control. Traffic cones clearly defined lanes at the end of which were workers (4) taking orders on iPads/cell phones. As orders are placed you then drive to the pickup window. If you paid by card it was simply a matter of picking your order up. If paying cash, there was a worker taking cash and giving change from one of those old fashion coins dispensers used/worn in days of old. Chick-Fil-A really has customer service and control down to a science. I will be back, if only for those delicious chicken nuggets. Real chicken, real taste. read more

It's Chick-fil-A, need I say more? This location is always efficient in tackling the drive thru line. Staff will direct traffic when it gets heavy but you should be in and out in under 10 minutes. The food is always delicious. Due to COVID the dine in area is closed so I can't speak for the cleanliness on the inside. Overall, it's a great chick-fil-a and we plan on returning. read more

There is a Chick-fil-A right on the way to where my parents live - yes! I generally don't like eating fast food, but Chick-fil-A has to be one of the exceptions. When she asked what sauces we would like for dipping we told her we weren't sure which ones they had. She made some recommendations and then gave us all of them to try out! Our food was done by the time we were done getting our sauces and the person with our food walked with us to our table. I ordered the #2 meal deluxe. I like the spice which actually has a good kick to it. It's crispy and moist inside. The sandwich was presentable and everything about it was simple without anything looking to heavy. I actually really enjoyed my sandwich. I also got to try some of the #5, which is the grilled chicken. It tastes much healthier than the crispy chicken and comes on a different bun too (healthier bun?). I really enjoyed all the dipping sauces, but I especially liked the chick-fil-a sauce which is a mix of honey mustard and BBQ. The ranch is also really good because it has an herb and garlic flavor to it. Overall, the service was super great here and the food was presentable and pretty tasty! We came to this chick Fil a on federal way. I had previously worked at another chick Fil a store. We had missed an 8 count grilled nugget, and Mac n cheese was slightly under portioned. Milkshake was kind of sad, whipped cream was like half way of the lid. utensils like forks and knives we had to ask for. All the salad condiments were just thrown on the tray. Overall I think it wasn't the best experience we've had, not a lot of my pleasures. Definitely just make sure to double check trays for accuracy, and customer service satisfaction. The food- bland and the ridiculous amount of wasteful packaging for every single item... every... single... one....and then styrofoam cups and plastic straws! Drove back home 15mins with a surpriase of missing 3 large fries ‍.
