Food aside (you like fried chicken sandwich or frosted lemonade, right?!), I have had great pick-up experience every time (3+). If you don't want to wait in the drive thru line (which can be quite long during lunch hours), and don't mind walking a few steps inside, use the "pick up order" feature on the app. They will start preparing it as soon as you arrive in the parking lot (tracked by GPS). There is a designated parking area for pickup, which allows you to skip the long drive thru line. I've gotten my food less than 5 minutes every time. This is my hometown, Chick-fil-A. Overall, I have very few problems at this location. Employees are always super nice (absolutely LOVE Gloria!). They're fast, efficient & very rarely do they screw up. When they do, they acknowledge it and make up for it. Sometimes they do forget to put condiments in so always check before you leave. Definitely recommend this location. It's in the top three locations in Washington that I've been to. Not say dry but it felt like something was missing. It was literally fried chicken with pickle tucked between a bun. The chicken was seasoned but it was a bit salty for me. The food is great and the service is good too! They have fun play place for kids. There are cute little place mat activities for kids to do while they eat and stickers of cows. There a worker there, I forget her name, but she is always very friendly. She walks around and talks to everyone and remembers me and my 4 yr.old niece by name. Came here Tuesday around 1pm, I noticed that they had staff directing cars where to drive in their parking lot. They set up 3 lanes and took my order at my window. They offer paper menus and were very polite. I ordered a 6 piece grilled nuggets kids meal with apple juice and a chik fil a deluxe sandwhich meal for me and my hubs to share. I didn't have to wait long and they gave me everything I asked for including 3 each of their Polynesian, chik fil a sauce and Sriracha sweet sauce. Servers and food were great! We go to this Chick FIl A a few times a month because my kids love to play in the play area, the food is great and the service is exceptional. Gloria has always been so polite and sweet to us! First time visit to Chick-Fil-A and I was not disappointed. Ordered the six (6) piece chicken nuggets with the world famous (so it's said) Chick-Fil-A dipping sauce. The store in Federal Way (PAC Hwy.) was suffering from construction going on right in the parking lot, but management had the situation under control. Traffic cones clearly defined lanes at the end of which were workers (4) taking orders on iPads/cell phones. As orders are placed you then drive to the pickup window. If you paid by card it was simply a matter of picking your order up. If paying cash, there was a worker taking cash and giving change from one of those old fashion coins dispensers used/worn in days of old. Chick-Fil-A really has customer service and control down to a science. I will be back, if only for those delicious chicken nuggets. Real chicken, real taste. read more

We came to this chick Fil a on federal way. I had previously worked at another chick Fil a store. We had missed an 8 count grilled nugget, and Mac n cheese was slightly under portioned. Milkshake was kind of sad, whipped cream was like half way of the lid. utensils like forks and knives we had to ask for. All the salad condiments were just thrown on the tray. Overall I think it wasn't the best experience we've had, not a lot of my pleasures. Definitely just make sure to double check trays for accuracy, and customer service satisfaction. There is a Chick-fil-A right on the way to where my parents live - yes! I generally don't like eating fast food, but Chick-fil-A has to be one of the exceptions. I've only been to Chick-fil-A twice now but I've enjoyed it each time I've been. The workers there were really friendly and nice while we ordered. When she asked what sauces we would like for dipping we told her we weren't sure which ones they had. She made some recommendations and then gave us all of them to try out! Our food was done by the time we were done getting our sauces and the person with our food walked with us to our table. I ordered the #2 meal deluxe. I like the spice which actually has a good kick to it. It's crispy and moist inside. The sandwich was presentable and everything about it was simple without anything looking to heavy. I actually really enjoyed my sandwich. I also got to try some of the #5, which is the grilled chicken. It tastes much healthier than the crispy chicken and comes on a different bun too (healthier bun?). I really enjoyed all the dipping sauces, but I especially liked the chick-fil-a sauce which is a mix of honey mustard and BBQ. The ranch is also really good because it has an herb and garlic flavor to it. Overall, the service was super great here and the food was presentable and pretty tasty! Grew up going to Chick-fil-A back east. I have to say tonight I had the nastiest Chick-fil-A meal ever! Placed my order through Door Dash or I would have refused it. Ended up throwing it away agter three bites. I had a wrap and mac n' cheese. The macaroni was just ok, but nothing special as it is quite bland . The wrap was horrible! The "flatbread",as they call it, was a very old, very cold,dry tortilla that came "cracked" and after three bites, was crumbling all over. It had far too much lettuce on it and the chicken was more like bits and pieces of old dark meat chicken. Not sure why they don't add the sauce to it when they make it fresh instead of sending you a pack of salad dressing to add to it yourself. This just reassures me that it was made far ahead of time and most likely why the "flat bread" was crumbling apart. They should just call it "old, dry crumbly lettuce wrap". Anyway, Chick-fil-A's sandwiches are NOT the best fast food chicken sandwiches. They are the 2nd best. The top honor belongs to Popeyes. However, here in Federal Way, the Popeyes is exceedingly terrible in terms of its staff, cleanliness, and overall operations. So, I come here to get my chicken sandwich fix instead. The staff is always very friendly and doing the mobile order and pickup thing is extremely fast and convenient. The only downside is that their parking lot is a bit of a mess when it's busy, but they do the best they can to manage it by stationing employees around the lot to take orders and direct cars. Overall, the way this place is run should be the model for every fast food joint in the nation. If only Popeyes could get it together.... read more
