They're pretty organized for being brand new. They expedited the line by taking the hot sub sandwich orders, and sending us directly to the cashier; which was nice. I ordered the meatball and Cheese sub, on Parmesan Rosemary bread. My son ordered the Big Kahuna cheese steak. Both sandwiches were tasty. I found the sauce on my meatball sub, over powered the taste of the meatballs. My son enjoyed his Big Kahuna, however he wish it had some type of sauce on it. Because they are hot Subs, there was no produce on the sandwiches. Next time I go back I will definitely try a cold sub to see the difference. I like Jersey Mikes usually in other locations. This was the most disappointing experience. Super dirty location, a good food safety class would benefit. So much cross contamination, flies and bad food handling observations, it's concerning. I was able to see a lot because there is no point to online ordering if all the walk ins get prioritized before my order while I was waiting. Quoted 10 minutes, waited 35. That's not even the disappointing part, I don't mind waiting but to skip a pre order and I'm in the store waiting was a sign of lack of knowledge. Plenty of team members, that cant be the excuse, just a missing component, awareness. Tacky handwritten "out" over the soda machine. WORST BBQ beef sandwich!! They used to be big and full of meat and BBQ sauce. Now they have barely any meat and super DRY no sauce. I even asked for extra sauce when I ordered, STILL DRY!! Greatest sandwiches ever! I really thought long and hard about what i wanted. There are many hot and cold sandwiches. I got Chipotle sauce on my sandwich and it really was the cherry on top. Im very happy with the customer service and the help with choosing a selection. The club sub was delicious and tangy with my extra no charge added Chipotle. Cant wait to go back. Im embarrassed but i practically inhaled it lol! We also got free coomies for being new customers. Woohoo. Love me some free stuff. Glad my family and I came here. I visited a few days ago. I personally did not like the taste of my wrap at all. I got the Baja chicken wrap. I've gotten the Baja wrap at Togos many times and loved it. So I thought it'd be good. But being honest I really disliked the taste. The ingredients? A small chicken breast with some kind of melted white cheese, I think Mozzarella. Then a ton of watery salsa. That's pretty much it. I think some lettuce. The Togos one had tastier chicken and much more chicken. Also a yummy cheese blend with corn and black beans. And some kind of delicious sauce. This wrap just majorly fell short on flavor. And it's not cheap! Also got chicken tortilla soup. It's alright. Not amazing. Had some flavor. The wrap took a long time to make as well. Whenever we take a weekend trip to Monterey, we stop at Jersey Mike's on the way back. We live north of San Francisco, where there are no Jersey Mike's! I check the new location section of the website often, and still no Jersey Mike's in Marin County or Sonoma! Regardless we usually go to one in San Jose. We stopped here because I thought I would use the bathroom at target and we didn't know there was a Jersey Mike's in the same shopping center. The people working there today had their act together! They were friendly, conscientious, doing multiple things at once, and still getting it all right! This is now our "go to" store when we are in the area. Excellent job all! This place is like the twilight zone! We ordered three sandwiches online. It said it would be ready in 15 minutes. After we arrived 15 minutes later it took another 23 minutes to get our food. It's a Jersey mikes, so I mean 4 stars for a fast food spot not for a fine dining establishment. I wouldn't have reviewed but when I read some of the negative ones I thought I'd offer a different opinion. The staff I encountered were very sweet, a little slow to get my sub started, but that seems to be more of an issue of the set up, and not their fault. (One person slices the cheese/meat, then a different assembles your sandwich and a 3rd rings you up. Necessary because the meat and cheese are cut as your sandwich is being made, which I appreciate). I ordered the chipotle cheesesteak here. The sandwich was just ok. There was a satisfactory amount of meat in there, but the sandwich didn't really taste of anything. I could not taste chipotle in the chipotle sauce at all, it may as well have been mayonnaise. It was definitely expensive for a takeout sandwich too, after tax my regular sandwich was almost $11. Been excited to try this place but was kind of let down. Got a sandwich last night. The meat was decent in taste and I like how they crisp the bread but for some reason they only put tomatoes on our sandwich and no other produce which was a huge letdown. They never asked what we wanted on the sandwich so we assumed it was "the works" but nope... tomatoes... 15$ for an unfinished sandwich. The other thing was it was really salty but I think that would have been ok if it had had at least lettuce or something else to break up the flavor. I'm done with jersey mikes. I've tried to use Uber eats with the several times only to have my order canceled. I actually went in to store tonight tone ignored by the cashier and then to be told they only have wheat bread. I was looking forward to eating here and it would have been better to leave it as a mystery. I ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich on rosemary bread. The bread was dense and flavorless, the chicken was a modest amount of heavily breaded meat, the only flavor came from the marinara sauce. I've thought about giving them another chance but the prospect of having another sandwich that is made up 75% of that dead and dense bread is to daunting regardless of how they fill it. Everyone knows being pregnant means no lunch meat; so my options tonight were pretty limited to a chicken cheese steak. Decided to give the Cali version a shot; lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo... how could that go wrong? Got that sandwich home to discover that: the best part of the sandwich was the rosemary parmesan bread!! Highly recommend that bread! Fluffy and tasty. A little disappointed to say that everything inside the bread simply wasn't terrific. The quality of the produce was okay!! I just didn't love not having the option of adding pickles - you know pregnant women and their pickles. I'm pretty convinced the chicken came out of a can. I could be wrong? Though still the past experiences are bitter in my mouth, from poor SLOW service the girls working today gave me hope that maybe things are changing for the better at Jersey Mike's. If the owner/manager reads this I hope you give good praise to the girls working on 10/21 around 11:20am as they got the food out the fastest I have ever seen, acknowledged all the customers and was just super friendly.
