Placed my order via the phone app and the order went through. Could even see the credit card charge. When I arrived, they had no record of my order. The manager called the main office, but to no avail. After about 5 min of back and forth they decided to make the sandwich anyways. Wasn't their fault. Technology is stupid sometimes. This is my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE sandwich shop now! I used to be a Subway/Togo's only person and I was absolutely surprised when I ate my first sub from here! The first thing you notice when you walk in is the delicious smell of fresh baked bread which of course makes you even more hungry. The staff takes your order and makes the sandwich fresh in front of you but I think the real difference is the care they use in putting the sandwich together. It's not just slopped together and stuffed in a wrapper like other places. And when you actually take your first bite there is the real difference: you don't get that mass-produced, packaged meat taste. It is more of a homemade taste like you would make for yourself but without the cleanup. I'm writing my review after eating here several times. I always order the number 8 on white and every time I've eaten it I can honestly say that the taste and quality is always consistent which makes me very happy. What makes it more enjoyable is that the staff is always so pleasant to deal with. I've seen other reviews and I agree that the sandwiches cost a bit more than one from Subway or Togo's, but I would say that it is absolutely worth every penny! Stopped to use the restroom and bought some drinks. Was harrassed multiple times by who we think may have been the managers. They were taking pictures of our license plates thinking we didn't pay. Maybe they need to pay more attention to paying customers and not harass them multiple times. Wont be going here again. Edit: In reply to the comment below. I appreciate the non apology. But I'd like to correct you in that I, my husband, and mother in law were all asked if we paid for the drinks as we exited by the male employee. To which my husband replied that his brother had paid. Then as my sister in law and niece were leaving, without anything because the drinks were already taken by us to the car, they were also accused of taking the drinks without paying. I'm sorry that you didn't approve of our group, including myself who is 8 months pregnant, and my pregnant sister in law using the restroom in your establishment. I will say that my husband was fuming in the parking lot after hearing that our sister in law with our 7 year old niece was also accused of stealing drinks although she did not even have any in her possession. I am sorry that made you uncomfortable. I do wonder if you checked with all your employees who ran the register before accusing us of stealing? I hope this experience doesnt happen again to anyone but if it were I would suggest that you approach the customer a little more respectful and unassuming. Went to JM's for the first time. Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Delicious! I will make one minor point (I know everyone has different opinions on this): there was a little too much bread for the sandwich. But other than that it was great. Way better than the leading chain sandwich company (think "Green & Yellow" logo). I would totally go back to JM's. read more

Based on customer experience alone because we never ordered to eat. There was a long line. We got to the end and waited. Another couple came in after us and was standing at the end of the line. An employee came out and took their order, gave them a pay slip and sent them to the register. I think whoever is waiting in line should have their order taken first. First, and likely last time to try Jersey Mikes. We ordered online only to get a call that they don't have pastrami, so no Reuben. I tried the meatball instead. I had taken a few bites when my wife asked me how it was. I told her the bread was good and I would let her know when I got to a meatball. The sauce was pedestrian. The two cold sandwiches were soggy from the oil they put on. My wife ended up taking her's apart and eating the ingredients, trashed the soggy bread. They did like the spices they put on the cold sandwiches. I guess we could customize the sandwiches if we were to order again but there wasn't enough taste or value in what we got to bother. Bottom line, a few isolated high points but wiped out by the negatives. Unlikely we will go there again. My husband was wanting one of Jersey Mike's pastrami ruben hot sandwich so he went to the Gilroy location and was told that Jersey Mikes is not making those and most of their hot sandwiches anymore. He was upset, but hungry so he ordered a large Club sandwich, which was not near as good as they've been in the past and their prices increased. This is real sad... While waiting 15 minutes for my sandwich, a man who appeared to be the owner or manager came in with his two large dogs and proceeded to stand around and talk to the employees, which delayed me receiving my order even further. read more

3.5 stars I ordered #56 Big Kahuna, very good sandwich, based on the sandwich 5*. But the girl that took the order did not ask which bread we wanted, 3 types to choose from. Maybe they sold out but I wasn't given that information. My eww factor was meat, which looked like processed chicken or turkey inside the deli display case on top of other meats. The other meats we're still in their original wrappings. For me it was display possibly a cleanliness issue. Although the rest of the restaurant was clean. Three star because the food is pretty good. Besides that the service is sooooo slow. Waited 30 mins. The hot sandwhich was given to us while waiting to order the rest of the cold sandwiches, by the time we got our sandwiches the hot one was cold. Too many people standing around not doing anything when they could help streamline the process. Owner is husband and wife and she is rude to him in front of customers. This was my second visit. Just tried them out Friday night. A few gripes. I waited 40 minutes in line, seriously. But while I waited I really saw what was happening. The manager(I think) was working the register but just standing there shaking her head because her crew was so slow and 15 people were in line. She could've put on gloves and helped moved things along, that's what a supervisor should do! The girl making sandwiches was really slow and I could barely understand the English she was speaking. The ordering process was a bit jumbled, and while m watching them make sandwiches, I see two huge nasty flies walking on the bread!! Are you kidding me? First time eating at one of these but live sandwiches. I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to try first because of so many great choices. I ended up getting the #11 - 2 meat and cheese. I had a regular sized (a little smaller than a footlong) with provolone, salami and pepperoni. "Mike's Way" is with olive oil, red wine vinegar and spices- I opted for the oil and vinegar on the side but had them put the spices on. Oh and I got it on Parmesan Rosemary bread which was delicious. Overall, I liked it. They slice the meat right there in front of you very thinly. I was a little concerned because it's not a lot of meat, but a lot of lettuce...but it was very tasty. I will definitely go back to try a hot sandwich. read more

I like Jersey Mike's in San Jose. So I was excited when I found one in Gilroy. But sadly I was treated like crap on the phone while ordering. The woman who answered was cold and even kind of condescending when I asked simple questions such as "Whats 'Mike's Way'?" Or "what does it come with?". During this Covid-19 situation I would have very much appreciated a friendly reassuring voice on the other end of my phone, but that's not so. I wasn't surprised when I got home and opened up my order that it was sloppily put together, mayo on the left side of the sandwich but not the right???.... the chicken was dry and a strange texture, flavor was bland and it seemed old. She got the gluten free part of our order correct but missed several other requests. I wouldn't normally complain, except the woman who took the order was just so darn rude (at a time like this), and having my dinner messed up as well just really disappointed me and made me feel like I shouldn't have spent my limited money on such expensive sandwiches. The quality wasn't worth it, the service wasn't either. Legitimately sad now. My mom said the last time she ate at this location she didn't like it either so I don't think I will be back. I truly hope you guys get your selves back together, because Jersey Mike's is a good concept and could be delicious with the right employees. read more

This is the best sandwich I have ever had! The bread is tasty, very soft and crunchy on too. My kids and I love their philly cheese steak. My son, who is very picky with his food and who usually doesnt like eating breakfast, was asking for his leftover jersey mike sandwich for breakfast. He got upset that there was only very small left. I promise him I will get him the foot long one again today for dinner. I love this place so much that I have already gone 3x in 6 days! Really fresh bread and ingredients! Today I got another BLT. The last one I had was amazing. This one not so much. Hardly any Mayo on a sandwich only has BLT and mayo. I asked for extra bacon and paid for it but the last sandwich I had had more without the extra request. Nobody really wants bites of just bread and lettuce. I also got a brownie which was stale and believe me I know what a fresh brownie should taste like. No date on the wrapper either. I hope you can resolve your consistency. read more

Wow. First and last time coming here. The quality is very similar to subway but extremely expensive! Almost forty dollars for two regular size sandwiches, two sodas and two kids "meals". The kids meals consist of a three by three inch bare bones sandwich, a tiny cookie and a cup of water. Not a meal! There are too many employees working VERY slowly when two employees could do the job better if they worked efficiently. All employees unfriendly- no smiles here. The guy adding the innards to the sandwiches dropped a piece of my child's sandwich bread into the area where they scrape the leftovers and the PICKED IT OUT and put it back on the sandwich! That has GOT to be a health code violation! That is basically putting his hand in the garbage and serving us food that touched garbage! I can get better quality, more delicious sandwiches from the Safeway deli! I am very disappointed and I feel like my husband wasted his HARD earned money taking us here. The sandwich selection is sub par for a restaurant that specializes in sandwiches. Nothing specialty or stand out. All sandwiches I could have made at home. Nothing about this experience wowed me. I would NOT recommend. Upon leaving I also noticed how absolutely dirty the floors and counters were. With four employees working slowly, one should take some initiative to remove the food from the floor. It really reflected poorly on the restaurant. Also- while the message from the business owner appears to be helpful (she appears to be offering us a refund) since she doesn't provide any contact information it's basically impossible for me to reach her..... when I click on her profile it does not connect me to her or anything, so how would I "contact her offline"?. Last time here. I ordered a hot meatball sandwich that was drenched in so much sauce that it was difficult to eat. Also it didn't seem very hot and fresh. The date on my chips on the floor was Oct 8th so the gal went to the back to bring me one that was dated Oct 22nd. This tells me that they are trying to sell them regardless. and simply do not care! Lastly, I witnessed a young girl doing some work at the register with her gloves on, then wiped her nose and proceeded to put her hands where the toppings are!
