This Jersey Mikes is the worst! The workers are not friendly at all,they never say hello or anything. They act like you are bothering them. The tables and floor are filthy. On the strength of a commercial we decided to try Jersey Mike's. The first time was pretty good but the second time was awful. The sandwich was supposed to have onions, mushrooms, red and green pepper along with jalapeño peppers. Due to dietary restrictions I specifically asked for NO jalapeños. The sandwich was laced with them. We could not, however see the onions, mushrooms, red and green peppers. Called and got the "too bad, so sad" response because they didn't see the no jalapeños. If you're paying $13 for a sandwich, you should get it as ordered. Picked up my online order and after leaving I unwrap a pitiful portion of meat on dry bread and nothing else. No mayo, no toppings, no seasoning, no nothing. Confirmed order was placed right. Emailed and said I should get at least a coupon for the shortcoming, and corporate said it's a franchise thing and that they sent my email along to the franchise owner. Franchise owner never bothered to reply. Too many other options available so I won't go back to poor prep and non-existent customer support. After leaving Lowe's, I saw the Sign, Jersey Mike's Subs. So, I thought I would give them a try. Upon entering, I noticed how clean and neat the place was in. As in most Sub Shops, the menu is limited and what I did notice... they have 3 sizes to pick from; The Mini; Regular and Giant. Well, something told me to order the Regular which was 8". I ordered The Super Sub, and they cut the meat from the huge roll of meat in front of you. It says it is fresh as appose to some slice which has been laying around for a while. I asked for extra Onions, Jalapenos and Banana Peppers for spice along with Lettuce and tomato. Instead of the traditional Oil and Vinegar, I opted for Mayonnaise. I find the Oil and Vinegar makes my bread soggy as they always seem to put way too much on it for my taste. The Sub Roll was fresh, and the meat had a wonderful flavor. On my way out, I picked up a take home Menu and I noticed it had more on the menu than what they post on the back wall. I was disappointed as I would like to have tried The Original Italian. Oh, well... next time as I will return. The guys behind the counter could not be nicer, and I had NO problem in asking for extra Hot Peppers and Onions on my sub. So, if you see me at a table eating a Jersey Mike's Sub... Do not be surprise. The ONLY drawback I had with the place, I wish they had a choice of Sub Rolls to choose from. I've been trying to follow a low carb, low sugar diet, and today we were at Short Pump Town Center thinking about food, of course. We were going to eat somewhere where we could sit, relax and enjoy, but my husband had a soccer game at 4 and my daughter spent waaaaay too much time trying on clothes at Hollister, so we were short on time. I'm not really a fast food person, but sub sandwiches are my weakness and my daughter knows it. She suggested Jersey Mike's, so of course I said yes. We do the straight up American -- ham and provolone, Mike's way, which means lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, pepper ((I skip the salt), oil and vinegar. What's great about Jersey Mike's is that it's consistent and scratches that I-must-have-a-sub-sandwich itch. I eat JM's maybe once every 3 or 4 months, so don't feel that guilty and I certainly enjoyed my guilty pleasure. It's back to no bread tomorrow. read more

We landed late at RIC and needed someplace quick to grab some food. Thought Jersey Mike's would be a good option. No one was wearing a mask which was concerning with the recent uptick in COVID cases. Restaurant looked like the tables hadn't been wiped down for quite some time. We ordered one large chicken cheesesteak which took a long time to cook and finally when we got it, it was a regular beef cheesesteak. I really like this jersey mike's location! it's very clean, the staff is super nice, and our order was ready pretty quickly! my boyfriend and I were craving cheese steaks, so we figured we'd check out jersey mikes. I got the regular sized big kahuna cheesesteak, which has mushrooms sweet peppers, jalapeño peppers, onions, steak and cheese, and their chipotle mayo (SO good!). then the BF got the same thing but he got their giant one which he ended up only eating half and saving the rest for the next day. I am a liiiittle bit of a wimp when it comes to spicy food, so I ended up picking off some of the jalapeños cause they were a little too much for me, but holy cow it was a good sandwich! the staff was super nice, and the guy gave us a free fountain drink while we waited, which I thought was great customer service. will definitely be back to this location, I was thoroughly pleased! read more

Jersey Mike's knows how to make a sandwich! I didn't know what to expect because there are sooooo many sandwich places that it's almost become cookie cutter... bread, meat, lettuce, but usually just meh. Mike's is different, Mike's is not typical, Mike's is very good! They have a meat slicer on the counter so you can watch them slice the meat for your sandwich. Ask for it "Mike's Way!" Trust me, it's how it should be. I had the regular size Supreme Club and was pleasantly filled up. This place has not ONLY great subs, BUT great customer service! The crew is very friendly and helpful with coupons and special orders/instructions for my finicky eating. The order online for pick-up service is a hit especially during the busy lunch hour when lines are super long - - literally to the entrance. My go to cold sub is a Supreme Club with roast beef, turkey, & bacon, while my go to hot sub is the Big Kahuna (chicken, not beef on this one); it has grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos and extra cheese. Wow! It's slammin'! You will not be disappointed and the quality is far better than Subway or Blimpie. No shade - - I just know quality cuts of meat and cheese. Can you believe This shop ran out of bread today? I had placed my order and it was to be completed by 7:27pm. Instead of prioritizing orders as they came in, they completed the orders from the people in line. It wasn't until 7:35 I was told they ran out of bread. They reluctantly offered a refund but nothing else. I asked for a free meal in the future I was told yeah but they gave me nothing to confirm this would happen and that they had to get it approved. How does running out of bread happen? I was told they didn't want to make more because of the time of the day. But when they saw they may need more bread when they realized they were running low, it should have been baked period. Very disappointed tonight and how this matter was treated. My family and I stopped in after seeing the restaurant on the Destination channel. When we walked in no one greeted us as a matter of fact I did not see anyone at the counter. After, a few minutes of waiting three young adults come from the back and none of them said a word, such as can I help you. In my opinion the subs were O K nothing to write home about. The price was fair and reasonable for three 8in subs and 3 bags of chips it only came to $22.00. Would I go back again YES if I am in the area and nothing else appeals to my taste buds at the time, I will not make a special trip to stop. read more

I've eaten here a couple times and the sandwiches just don't taste the same, they never give you a receipt, and with the exception of one employee who actually acts like he wants to be there (a polite young man, great personality, think he had red hair...) A good sub place with good prices. It's really a simple as that. The soft, fresh bread is delightful. All of the cold meats and cheeses are sliced to order. The produce is always fresh. My last encounter with Jersey Mikes was the Big Kahuna steak and cheese sub. A decent portion of steak cooked to perfection. Plenty of gooey cheese, mushrooms, onions, and banana peppers. Will definitely be back with my co workers. Also they deliver which is a huge plus in Short pump since the traffic is usually awful. The sub was a little soggy that's why the 4 stars. The entire time I was there, a young woman (who was obviously the girlfriend of one of the employees based on their public displays of affection while he was working) was allowed to sit on a bench right next to where the food was prepared and the drink machine was located and smoke. I love this place, and the people. I could sing Josh's (the manager) AKA the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of all time) and his staff's praises all day long. Alas, I won't. Instead I will have someone else do this for me. My associate and I, who frequent this establishment on a regular basis, recently purchased a sub for a colleague who hadn't been to Jersey Mike's before. This was the review he wrote. "Choosing lunch, day-in & day-out - every single day - seems like an easy process , but at times can be hard. Just as with any necessity, eating must take place, but the luxury of choice always seems to hinder any course of decisive action. As I sit here, digesting 10-inches of constructed delicatessen delights, I have to wonder how to review this sandwich. On the one hand, by initial looks and title, it is by all means an ordinary sub-roll sandwich. In some circles, hoagie would be more an exact. On the other hand the type of meats, cheeses, and other vittles can make a hoagie stand out. You have 10-12 inches of white-bread canvas to work with. A hoagie, is a sum of its parts. If the "parts don't match, then it ain't a fit" - someone who was nobody said to me once. I took it to heart, and always think of that vague statement before I eat. This hoagie, was good. It had nothing unusual or uncommon. No rare ostrich or Kobe beef. Quite the opposite. Normal items such as ham and turkey, with the stringy cut iceberg lettuce that gets stuck in your teeth. The onions were onions, along with the tomatoes being tomatoes. But! Before you dare you say "Alas, Jersey Mike's thou art has failed!" It was the honey-mustard, paired with the astringent vinegar that brought the hoagie together. The bacon-fat taste, provided the backdrop along a silky buttery taste that appeared when the olive-oil melded with and soaked into the white-bread. Nothing to write home to your mother about, but a good choice for lunch at work. That's my review. I normally only rate restaurants, not fast food and sub shops, but this place deserves it. The subs are definitely good but the service is what won me over. After only a few visits the manager quickly began to recognize me and simply confirm my standard order. Also, on a visit when it was 1 minute before closing time and I could tell the guys were ready to finish up and go home, they cheerfully went back to work to make my sub. Most guys would have grumbled and resented it but they were awesome. I will keep getting my Giant Club Supreme from them every week. read more
