It made for a strange first impression. There was an odd smell throughout the restaurant and the restroom smelled especially unpleasant. The food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, we found it underwhelming. I ordered the chicken wonton ramen. It was bland, and the wontons reminded me more of something from a frozen meal than something made in-house. My fiancé ordered the tonkotsu ramen and had similar thoughts. Lunch for two ended up costing over $40 after tax and tip, and that was with just water to drink. For the price, we expected more. This is not somewhere we plan to return.

The risotto was superb. Alex, the owner, comes over to ask how things are so I tell him the flavor of the scallops is excellent and fresh, I just with they seared better. She says let me bring you something else like a bowl of pasta. I tell her not a bowl just a saucer so I can taste it. She heads off. Alex returns with two scallops cooked to perfection. A few minutes later Mary Ann returns with a full bowl of bolognese pasta. Later the waitress returns with my apple pie dessert which was outstanding! When the waitress brings the bill she explains the scallops were removed from the check and replaced with the pasta (lower price). The dessert was complimentary. She got a great tip.
