We wanted to try this family owned local spot and support our local businesses! The couple that runs the cafe are lovely and it's an interesting mix of a cafe with a training facility in the back. The owner, Murat, was a former Olympic Marathon champion in Greece and used to train the Turkish national team. He works with individuals, seniors and others looking to stay fit and flexible. He was very friendly and personable with us and other customers. It's a lovely spot for a coffee or Greek dessert or pastry. We had never tried a Turkish breakfast before, and weren't super hungry, but opted for a breakfast panini to split. It was an interesting mix of flavors with scrambled eggs, pickles, tasty Turkish sausage and a smear of red pepper spread. The place is filled with inviting plants and local artwork and the owners are clearly delighted to serve their neighbors. We were a little surprised to see the steep price increase on food items, but realized the menu posted on yelp was from 5 years ago!! All in all Murat's is a lovely spot to meet up with friends and neighbors over a traditional coffee or pastry. Uploading newer photos of the menu so people can see current offerings.

You might miss Murat's if you're not looking for it. Nice little Turkish cafe in the Gayton area with an even nicer owner, Murat who has his training center adjacent, which produces champion runners. I tried the panini, herbal tea and baklava. Delicious panini with the absolute best feta I've ever tasted. I'm not a baklava fan and this was also the best baklava I've ever tasted.

Discovered this great place today!! Authentic Turkish coffee, tea, desserts and food... we just wanted coffee, which was amazing. Had the pleasure of sitting and sharing stories with the owner, Murat. This is not your franchised coffee place, so come an try something new and delicious!!!

I had this place in my bookmark for some time now, and I was very pleased with almost everything! I was very satisfied with our meal overall, I would say the mac n cheese while well seasoned, was slightly over cooked, there were some hardened pieces of noodles in the mix. Now the customer service was great, I didn't catch the gentlemen's name who was working alone, but he was very friendly and attentive! Unfortunately the cleanliness can be better we had to wipe down our own sitting area and the floors were kinda sticky. Granted there was only one person working, so maybe that could be the reason? Overall I would come back, maybe try the downtown location next.

This place is located in a shopping center as a standalone location. Parking is plentiful as well as the interior seating. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ordering is done through a kiosk at the counter and if you need to customize anything after ordering speaking to the staff is not a problem. I ordered the chicken tenders that come with a side. The meal which came with five tenders and I got the crinkle cut fries. For sauce, I got the honey mustard, mambo sauce, and the hot honey. The food came out hot. The chicken tenders were crispy and well seasoned. The fries were hot and crispy. Of the sauces, I liked the honey mustard the best, but that's usually my go to when I get chicken tenders. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely stop by this location. Highly recommend.

Somebody yells your name and YOU pick it up. When done, YOU bus your own table. No humans. So what is the tip for? 5 wings and fries is like $13. No drink. A little pricey but ok. The wings; Garlic Buffalo, with ranch fries. The fries were good. Coated with a batter. So if you like regular fries, not sure you would like them. The wings tasted OK. The sauce was pretty mild and packed with I assume jarred garlic bits. The wings were soggy and swimming in sauce. I ate 3. No point in wet soggy wings. The portion was very large - cook the wings longer? I am not sure of the reviews. Maybe this place is new and it is a hit and miss. Maybe people come out to the eating area so they can see what's going on? The look is standard chip shop. Nothing fancy.

I was pleasantly surprised with this visit. The side portions were extremely generous for smalls and the chicken tenders were more like chicken breasts. They have so many sauces and dry rubs to choose from. I like that they allow you to choose a dry rub for your fries to spice them up and set them apart from standard fries. Extra sauces like ranch are an extra charge and they provide plenty to make it worth it. This location was very busy on a Friday night. I highly recommend ordering take out in advance. They do have seating inside if you prefer dining in.
