A group of 10 coworkers and I picked this place for lunch. We placed out order over the phone and went to pick it up, and on the drive back to the office my buddy noticed there were two subs missing from our order. So I quickly bust a u turn and head back. We picked up our lunch at 12:30 which is the peak of the lunch rush hour. So I dropped my coworker off and circled the parking lot until he came out with the two missing subs. Took about 5 minutes. By the time we got back to the office the sandwiches were lukewarm, and two of our orders were completely wrong. The girl that asked for wheat bread got white bread and vice versa. And my other coworker asked for his sandwich "Mikes way" but it came with only meat and cheese and was dry. We will not be coming back here. read more

This is my go-to lunch spot when I'm working in Costa Mesa. They have a secret menu item. It's the #99 - a chipotle cheesesteak with jalapeños and mushrooms. It's awesome. Hands down my favorite jersey mikes! My sister and I meet here for lunch a few times a week, and aside of the insane line they are extremely efficient and friendly. I dont normally yelp but, after the service today I feel it necessary. I had come in with only my phone expecting to use apple pay but I guess it wasn't working... To my surprise the manager on duty told me it was on her and to just keep coming back, um of course! Any other restaurant would have made me skip my lunch. Only thing I have to complain about is the to go orders and there only being on register they use for all orders which makes the wait longer some times. Horrible customer service they are always rude if you show up at 7 pm their the employees will look at you with the worst angry face we come here a lot and never get good customer services we stand there for like 5 minutes until they felt like turning around to look at us didn't say hi or sorry for the wait or how may I help you( I don't know her name because they don't wear name tags it was an African american lady taking our order tho ) so since there's no greeting we just began to order and we ask for mayo and she said they be an out come on !! The food was great. The staff, not so much. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I ordered and paid online (directly from Jersey Mikes website) which stated my (2) sandwiches would be ready at 11:31. I arrived at exactly on time because I work across the street. When we arrived the order had not been started, no big deal because it was starting to get a little busy, roughly 5 people in line at that time. So we waited. I was called to the counter around 11:45 that my order was ready. I approached the counter to pick it up but the sandwiches were not wrapped yet so I waited a bit more while they were wrapped and bagged then placed on the back counter. The cashier didn't seem to care that I was standing there as he continued to close out people who were waiting in line. Another 5 min passed before I had to ask said cashier to stop closing out line customers and hand me the food I had been waiting for. I didn't have an option to order the chips and drink from their website ordering so I asked about it and had to pay a separate transaction for them, another wait. Mind you there was no apology for any of the unnecessary waits. To kick things off the cashier mumbled under his breath as I turned around to leave, "Get over it" and when I turned back around he avoided eye contact and continued to close out other customers. I could have waited in line multiple times by the time I got the food. Another co-worker in our party was given the wrong order when picking up his order. Didn't find out that until we were already back at the office about to eat. If I knew it would be this difficult for the staff to take online orders and treat customers courteously; I would have just gone to Subway. We have 60+ people at our office who frequent this location. After this visit, our office is pretty much set on not returning to this establishment. read more

I'm very pleased with the customer service provided at this location. I had called in an order for lunch, at arrival i found out that my order was not on the system so the representative (believe his name was Angel) hands me a cup and tells me it'll be ready shortly. Went to my car came back to pick up my Chipotle Chicken sub and to my surprise the representative hands me the sub free of charge. As a manager who ran Restaurants in O.C. I give this location 5 STARS for great customer service and delicious food. I walked out this location satisfied. Now it isn't the free meal I got that I'm pleased with it's the way the cashier (Angel) handled the situation focusing on solutions and accommodating to customer's experience with the business. 3 stars because the food is good. Service is horrible. I realize they get packed at lunchtime so I call in my order. I'm getting more and more frustrated!!! Called in my order today, the guy told me 10 minutes, took a 20 minute walk (that I time) went to pick up sandwich and stood there for another 15 minutes! Im like, "guys?, its been 30 minutes!" The cashier did not seem to care, and I stood there another 10 minutes more! Seriously? If Im calling in, tell me its going to be 30 minutes and I'll adjust. Second or third time this has happened. I have been to every sub sandwich chain in CA and WA and I can say that this Jersey mikes takes the cake. There is a reason the line is out the door everyday, from the friendly employees to the delicious cold and hot sandwiches I find myself braving the long lunch lines to eat here 1 to 2 times a week. Having eaten here dozens of times over the last couple years, I can vouch for their consistency in service and friendliness. Even the rare wrong order is quickly fixed, usually going above and beyond just correcting their mistake. All that to say, I'll be a jersey mikes customer for years to come. read more

Just left this location about 30 minutes ago. This is the second time they tell me that they're out of the ingredients after I pay for the sandwhich. Both times they offered me double meat which I don't really care for except for the fact that I had already paid for it. This time the lady making the sandwich didn't give me double meat. Good sandwiches but its hit or miss with the mini sub's. Sometimes they make them a lot smaller than other times. You never know what size sandwich you are going to get. Its like playing a scratcher. Sometimes they give you a decent size sandwich sometimes its 4 inches of nothing. I don't like the inconsistencies. They should measure out each sub instead or winging it. read more

Jersey mikes is located inside the shopping center at the corner of MacArthur and Main Street. It's in the plaza with the Starbucks and 7 eleven. The subs are really good kinda like subway but better in my opinion. You can order it mines way which is with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. read more

I love Jersey Mike's and was excited to find this location to meet my husband for lunch. We have eaten here multiple times and have always ordered online before arriving to avoid the long lunch line. According to the website, the orders should be ready in 15 minutes, but every time we have gone, we still wait an extra 10-15 minutes for our food... despite ordering 30 minutes before arrival. Beyond that... the last 3 orders we placed were wrong. We won't be eating at this location anymore, which is a real bummer because we planned on meeting there for lunch at least 2-3 times a week. read more

Jersety mike should move back to Jersey. I am a vegetarian and like to eat a good veggie sandwich. There are 4 other sandwich places near this Jersey Mikes. All the others provide a great Veggie sub. But i decided to give the new guy a try. Mikes charged me a little over $8 for a grilled veggie sandwich. When the cashier handed it too me, i thought the bag was empty. The sandwich consisted or 3 oz of cheese and a sliver of grilled peppers and onions. Literally nothing in between the bread. I am not sure why sandwich chains cannot make a good veggie sandwich. They have all the stuff there. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, a variety of cheeses. Also, they had run out of wheat bread.If you know your going to be busy, make some more bread.... read more

Too expensive, the meat is actually shaved not sliced its so thin. Two of us had medium turkey and provolone, chips and soda for $24. I could do better at any local deli or grocery chain that makes sandwiches. I cannot understand the attraction to this franchise sandwich shop. It reminds me of nothing on the east coast. This location is always busy at lunch, but the staff are incredibly efficient, friendly and professional. The store manager comes out and makes sure the line is moving and that people with mobile or hot orders know where to go. The staff is young, but they are quite experienced and make this place one of the best quick, healthy lunches to grab on the go. They have bowl options, too for people watching their carb intake. Not many like to post positive reviews because why waste their time to do so? but rather criticize when not taking into many perspectives... This place is absolutely amazing!! Always busy, clean and respectful. Went in at night after work the other day and have been there during lunch in the past(insanely busy shout out to the staff for taking care of the never ending line) , staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. A young man the other night greeted me and helped me out as soon as I walked in and they cooperate with you to get what you want, the sandwich was sooo good!! I have been to various Jersey Mikes and this is the best one I go to- no question about it. The employees are very outgoing and hardworking. This jersey mikes for some reason is always the cleanest and tastiest as well :) don't get me wrong though, I highly recommend stop by for a sub, whether it's this jersey mikes or another one, nothing compared to subway I promise you. read more
