I stopped by the Jersey Mike's location at The Square in Irvine for a quick late lunch and had a great experience. I ordered the #8 Mini Club Sub on wheat bread, customized with Swiss cheese instead of the standard provolone, along with lettuce, mayo, and pickles. I paired it with a side of Sun Chips and a drink (they serve Pepsi products). The sub itself was very good. The most notable aspect was how fresh the bread was, which really makes a difference. I appreciated that the meat and Swiss cheese were freshly sliced right in front of me. The "mini" size was actually plenty for me for lunch, though they also offer regular and larger sizes for bigger appetites. The service was expedient and friendly. Even though I arrived around 1 PM, the line was short and moved quickly. The restaurant was visibly clean. There is some seating inside, and plenty more available outside, offering a choice between sun and shade. Very friendly staff who greet you as you walk in. They make sandwiches VERY fast, and you can see why based on the number of folks working in the kitchen. I went there for a late lunch, and even though there were only a couple customers, there had to be at least 6 people working there (compared to Subway who usually have 2-3). The quality of the ingredients is solid, and the bread isn't bad. However, I've realized that the trick to ordering is to make sure you don't JUST order a sandwich. Make sure you also look at the add-ons so you can add the flavor you want. I ordered an Italian sub, which was fine, but fairly bland since I didn't add anything to it, and they only put light vinegar. They serve your subs here made to order. They start off by slicing your meat fresh and then your cheese. It's all sliced fresh made to order which is nice. The bread is also fresh. They have a signature recipe called Mikes way which is pretty tasty. It's basically vinegar and oil with salt and pepper on top of your sub. read more

Nobody calls me back, so I have to call again, explain the entire situation to another employee, and hear the same thing all over again. Seventeen days of repeatedly calling a restaurant for a refund that was already supposed to have been processed is unacceptable. I was charged for food I never received, was told the order was cancelled and would be refunded, and yet I am still having to chase the restaurant for my money. Order #5032, placed July 31, 2026. Very poor customer service and extremely frustrating. I hope Round Table management sees this review, looks into how this location is handling customer complaints, and finally resolves my refund.
