They were total pros as they served up so many yummy orders as they raised proceeds for the Special Olympics USA Games. Today they interacted with my Olympian friend, Tori Bilyk-Seguine, a dedicated Athlete Leader for Special Olympics Florida and a representative for Team Florida, preparing for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. She is recognized as a passionate athlete advocate who participates in events like the "Race for Inclusion. We had such a great time as all the customers came in with their orders to show their support!! One Jersey Mike's employee even came in with her family to order even though she was not working her shift until later today. Several customers took time to take a selfie with the Olympian! My husband picked up a couple of subs for dinner. Mine was a chicken salad sub with lettuce onion and added provolone. I'll tell you what, it had the skimpiest amount of chicken salad on it I've ever seen! I could barely taste the chicken salad, It was all bread and lettuce. Jersey Mike's offers subs made from freshly cut subs and cheese topped with your choice of the usual vegetable toppings available. I grew up in New Jersey, so I am rather particular on my subs and while in Jersey, this brand is certainly not even close to the best, here in Florida, Jersey Mike's is one of the better offerings. I found this location to have a friendly staff and a clean environment. Today was Double Points Day, so I was able to get twice the points on my purchase plus I took advantage of the daily special (Wednesdays is a regular turkey and cheese with chips and a drink). I am a regular customer of Jersey Mike's and will say my usual sub is the Italian sub and I find the cheesesteak to be pretty good, as well. Honestly, I normally wouldn't go out of my way to write a review about bad costumer service but i come to this jersey mikes atleast once a month and today I experienced the worst service ever in my life. The 2 woman working were EXTREMELY rude & the tone of their voice was disrespectful. It literally got to the point that I had to ask was everything ok because they almost made me think I did something wrong by walking in. And this tone rippled down to every single person in line to the point I had to speak for an elderly lady behind me because they were just barking at everyone. I hope they can figure that out. I literally couldn't wait to get out of there & if I had the time to go take my business elsewhere I most definitely would have. I walked out of there really upset over 3 subs. A toss up between 3 or 4 stars.... First time went to Jersey Mikes I got a chicken philly and it was terrible!!! It turned me off of them for a while, but last night out of convenience we decided to try again. This time we got their Italian and the Chipolte Philly, they were much better! The Italian tasted fresh if a little bland, only complaint is the bread was a little too hard for my liking, I ended up picking off chunks of it. The Chipolte Philly is what redeemed them for me, it was delicious! Thin steak, sautéed onions and peppers, a Chipolte mayo, and probably white American cheese...then the heat from everything softened the bread and turned it into a great sub! Tried to use app to order but could not enter a coupon anywhere. So I had to go to the store. Only ONE guy was there to answer phone, take orders, make sandwiches, and act as cashier. He was sweaty and wiped his face/nose with forearm. As I was giving him my order the phone rang and he immediately answered it and started taking THAT customer's order! I asked him if he could put that customer on hold and finish taking my order. He just looked at me, gave me his back and walked away so he could finish writing the phone order. Jersey Mikes is definitely in the Top 5 Sub places in the Jax area. Meat for sandwiches is sliced to order and they have 3 different bread choices. We always get the Rosemary. Toppings are always fresh and usually get ours Mikes way but add mayo. Be warned the Giant Sub is named correctly and its 2 meals for me. Stay with the Regular size unless very Hungry are using it for Lunch and Dinner. They also have a rewards program where you earn points fir a free sub. read more

Avoid this jersey mikes location. It is fairly new and they have some issues to work out. Normally, Jersey mikes is great but I've been getting both terrible and great tasting sandwiches from here. Today I got one that was very sour. I suspect it was rancid oil but I couldn't tell for sure. The roast beef was also a bit old and brown. I had to throw that sandwich out. Very clean location with great customer service. I've been craving a sub for a while so I ordered a giant Super Sub. Looking at it right before he put the top on it was impressive. It looked incredible. The bread is fresh and is the perfect sub bread. All the veggies are crisp. I really wanted this sandwich to be as good as it looked but it wasn't. It was just bland. I don't know how the reviews got so bad. To me Jersey Mike's has one of the best subs in town hands down. Now I have always compared every sub that I have ever eaten to a little subs shop in New Jersey. That place I have eaten subs from since I was about 10 years old. I'm 56 now and have been traveling to NJ all my life. The parrot sub is the name and Jersey Mike's makes a sub that is close and delicious. They have all the right parts to a sub. The bread is really one of the biggest part of it. To me they got all the right parts is pieces that makes the bread taste similar to the Parrot. The meat is good to. It is sliced right then and layered with no really formal stacking. It is just piled on and not laid on. That give you some space and better taste. I know sound like a bunch of bologna. It's not it ham, salami. pepperoni, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo. It's that combination that works right and give me the flavors in a sub that I have been looking for years. read more

I understand that they are under new management and ownership, so I wouldn't pay much attention to the reviews from last year as these people just took over a few months ago. I got their right when they opened and the bread baking smelled great. They just started having pepper jack cheese so I had it on my cheese steak and it was great. They are doing a whole new chicken cheese steak menu soon, so I will be back to try those too...love that they slice the meat in front of you and it is not old meat that has been sitting out waiting to be used after being weighed out, my oldest son loves the roast beef that they roast fresh there every day. This is my favorite sub shop bar none. This location is always clean and the staff are always very friendly. My family and I are very picky and do not order straight from the menu. We always like our subs with a few more or less toppings than normal. For instance, I love the philly cheese steak, but I do not want the peppers and onions. We have never had any problems with our orders. We have been to this location when it is slow and when it is very busy. Each time we received quality service with a smile. My favorite sandwich here is the buffalo chicken wrap. Now this one I order as is and it is wonderful. I highly recommend this location. read more

Jersey Mike's you get two stars today one because I'm fed and two because you have a large selection to choose from and that's about it. First impression that it's nicely decorated but it was very dirty. There was a broom lying across the table and food all over the floors and tables trash not taken out and employees that acted like they could care less we were there. Their menu does have quite a bit to choose from but there were not many choices in the case to put on mayo lettuce tomato onion then there was this peppery red stuff that I actually tried is pretty good then you had some jalapenos and pickles and that's about it really no real vegetables. I went with my husband and my three children. My husband paid for himself and two of our children I paid for my oldest daughters and myself it was just two regular meals combos cost $21 nothing special nothing added completely by the menu. And my particular sandwich came with Bacon and he asked if I wanted bacon. We sat down the whole time forced to hear loud country music was playing just because I live in the south does not mean that I enjoy gator country blared against my will in my ears as I eat and it was freezing Cold we all had goosebumps on our arms we were rushing as fast as they could to eat so we can get out so we would not freeze to death from the cold or have our heads explode from the awful music. If you eat inside a restaurant you should be able to eat at your leisure and enjoy yourself a bit not eat like you're in a hurry running late shoving food in your face cause you want to get out of the restaurant. Having a relaxing evening with my family did not work at Jersey Mike's. Cold and loud was not the ideal environment for me and food honestly was not that great all I could taste was the red peppery stuff that he put on there slight crunch of bacon and the blood dripping from the overly raw roast beef in my sandwich. Meat quality was lacking in all sandwiches. Wheat bread too gritty. Sorry Mr. Mike your restaurant is dirty and very over priced for your quality this girl will be taking her business down the street! read more

I was told by a friend to check out this recently new sandwich shop that opened up. I decided to give it a try based on their recommendation. Upon entering the shop I was greeted by friendly employees with welcoming smiles one of who was named Tony. Their service was just as great as well as they took extra precaution to my allergy. The food was divine! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for great food and great service. Pros: The atmosphere at Jersey Mike's is pretty interesting. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Also, they slice the meat right in front of you and the guy that was making the sandwich was sort of putting on a little show explaining each thing he was doing. He had lots of energy. Cons: 1. I didn't really care for the sliced meat. It was very salty for my taste. 2. Also, I like having more options for toppings. There's lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, jalapenos, banana peppers, pickles, mayo, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and some sort of red pepper relish. 3. Also, when making the sandwich, they pile the lettuce so high and the sandwich is cut in such a way that 1/3 of the lettuce just falls off the sandwich as they're making it (seems like a lot of wasted lettuce going down the drain). It also makes for a VERY messy sandwich that does not stay together. 4. I didn't ask if I could have my cold sandwich hot and they didn't offer, but the first question I was asked was "are you having a cold or hot sandwich". The menu is divided into cold and hot sandwiches. It would be nice to have that option. 5. Not worth the Price in my opinion. read more
