BACON, EGG, CHEESE on EVERYTHING BAGEL with my lady. Happy times.

A must if in SURF CITY , TOPSAIL beach on NC's soutern coastline. Great consistency of bagels, NY like. And made into sandwiches. My go to as I am originally a NYer (now a North Carolininan) is bacon egg and cheese (American) on a toasted bagel. Now my choice is always a buttered everything bagel, toasted. The conistency of a bagels with good consistency and just done right sandwiches takes me home to NY. Could be cause I believe the owners are transplanted NYers too. Place does great business in the warm months so expected a not too long, not to brief wait in line to order and receive the delish. Fair # of tables on 2 floors and outside permiter. Nice to have options. And enjoy the wall art of NYC experiences and sights. Like a second home for me when we stay few miles away at South Topsail at the SEA VISTA motel that is from the 1940s or 50s. Love all the vibes of this place and area.

I love coming here!! I've never had a bad meal! I've tried burgers and chicken cutlet sandwich and they were amazing but today I just wanted something easy and light.. I ordered a bit with side of macaroni salad! The salad has great flavor and has peppers and carrots chopped up in it.. nice light vinegar and mayo too.. my sandwich had lot of crispy bacon it was so good and they toast the bread.. so good just what I wanted.. it was a big sandwich so I ended up taking Mac salad home! The staff was so great! The young lady that took our order was very nice and helpful.. we took our lunch outside and they brought our stuff out to us and checked on us too.. great location a block off the beach and in shop center with other spots you may wanna go see. They have seating outside, downstairs and upstairs. I enjoyed our visit today for sure and I'll be back!!

Best bagels in Surf City, hands down! One of my favorite things about a beach vacation. Great selection of lunch meats, salads, sides and desserts. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

    Incredible cannoli!

Look, this island isn't known to be the place where you scratch your fine dining itch. But if you want food that tastes great and is a better value than it should be, stop by the NYCD before 2pm (or whenever they close). Without a doubt, best breakfast sandwiches, bagels, cold cut sandwiches, and dare I say desserts on the island. I did my New York City stint for 7 years, and this deli counter actually transfers me back to the city. If they have the cannoli available, get it. They pipe it fresh.

This place needs to come to Chapel Hill! We so need an authentic deli Andy this is one. They're taking all the safety measures during this stupid pandemic. They have outdoor seating and take out of you'd rather. Every item in their menu looks delicious and I had such a difficult time deciding what to eat! The people who work there are so nice and very helpful. They lose just one star because the indoor eating area could use a good cleaning ; nothing gross, just sweep and wipe. We will go back for more great food though!

WE LOVE NEW YORK CORNER DELI. Our favorite breakfast place around. Good fast service, clean and great selection. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese on a wheat bagel and my husband always gets either an omelet or the Richie Goldsand. We have come here for years and never a complaint.

Came for breakfast but not everyone wanted breakfast:) Ordered at the counter and then they brought us food in the upstairs room. Also able to eat outside. Overall food was decent. Although the breakfast sandwiches were fine, probably a better lunch spot. The egg platter looked good, but did not get it (maybe next time). Service was good (not busy). Clean eating area. We will be back.

The whole restaurant is super cute, albeit it does get really hot inside with only fans when there are lots of people inside. The tables are clean and the staff is friendly. The avocado toast has awesome goat cheese and the bacon you can add on is wonderful. The bad: Honestly extremely disappointed today. This is my third time here and I've been recommending them to all of my friends and family. We came in at 2 pm when they close at 4, drove 30 minutes for lunch, for the "kitchen to be closed". No where on their website or anywhere else do they advertise that they may close the kitchen early and I asked when it typically closes and they said they can just decide to close it when they feel like it, so they're only serving coffee and smoothies. We opted for smoothie bowls and they were completely liquid, we had to drink them and not eat them with spoons. There was also chunks of frozen fruit that didn't get blended and there was no spirulina and zero coconut flavor. Not sure who was working today but it was honestly such a bad experience that I don't think I'll be back or be recommending them to people anymore. $13 for basically a banana and handful of blueberries with melted juice and frozen pineapple chunks is highway robbery. Added two stars for the two prior experiences, I guess.

The Food Many of you know how much I travel, and I don't say this lightly, these are the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Period!!! I ordered the Crab Benedict, while my wife enjoyed the California Benedict. Every bite was simply outstanding. 2. The People The entire staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Yes, you may wait 25 to 50 minutes for a table, but I can honestly say it's worth every single minute. Great things are worth waiting for. 3. Kate And then there's Kate, the owner. She is truly one of a kind. Her kindness, humility, and positive spirit radiate the moment you meet her. More than anything, her faith is contagious! We spent just a few minutes talking, yet her words left a lasting impact on both of us. As we were leaving, she handed us a small pin that read, "God's Got This." Wow... it was exactly the message we needed at that moment. Please take a moment to read her story in the attached photo. It's inspiring and a beautiful reminder that faith, hope, and love still exist all around us. From now on, every day can be "CB" day for me, because I'll gladly return to Kate's for what I believe is the best breakfast, served with the biggest hearts. Thank you, Kate, for reminding us that sometimes the greatest thing on the menu isn't just the food, it's the love, faith, and kindness that come with it. God Bless you, your family and your amazing team!!! 100% Recommended

Perhaps some of the best pancakes I've ever had. They had nuts in them and were perfectly spiced. 10/10. Red velvet was good, the cream cheese icing was quite tasty but they weren't anything too special. And the apple pancake was my least favorite; the apple filling on top tasted like it came from a can. Super sweet and didn't taste fresh. But the pancake itself was still good. This place does not take reservations and I was told the line goes out the door in the summer. There was a large line even while we were there in the off season during a storm. So if you want to eat here on a weekend, or the weather is nice, proceed with caution and be prepared to wait (standing outside--there is no seating while you wait).

That was totally fine - but we ended up waiting about 10 minutes - even better!! They'll put your name on a wait list then send you a text so you can easily track when your table is almost due. We went for good food and left super satisfied. My mom ordered the Southern Breakfast which offered a good amount of food and she loved it, she said the ham was very tasty and that it tasted like bacon! It was nice for that option you could choose a biscuit or toast as a side. We also got a single biscuit and gravy to share. The gravy was delicious and the chorizo added a nice little spicy kick to it. I can see why these are so popular here! My brother ordered the dirty south biscuit and he was also very satisfied. It had a little bit of everything and was steps above a traditional breakfast sandwich. I personally ordered a pancake topped with strawberries and I love that they offer to bake the strawberries in too. Bacon was crispy, thick. Everything was super fresh.
