A fan of the sub-- filled much heavier than Jimmy John's. The #9 regular can easily be split into two meals and I'd go again! Need to try their chipotle mayo and buffalo sauce next time! Cheers!

This is what a poor example of a BLT looks like

My wife stopped by today to grab lunch ,I requested a BLT sandwich and as she gets home I open my sandwich and I get a BL sandwich no tomato how do you make a BLT without tomato? Also the bacon is all broken up like bacon bits on a salad how do you make a BLT sandwich with bacon bits? Nine dollars for a broken bacon and no tomato does not seem right to me

I can't give a 3.5 first off so 3 it is. This place is like any other establishment of its nature. The philly cheesesteak was great. Immaculate. Cannot complain on the flavor sensation one bit. Unfortunately they could 86 the red peppers and toast the bun fully. This contributed to the 3.5 star rating .. another contribution was the service. Basically a get in, get out, where's your ticket .. shut the hell up type deal. I'm never too offended by that because I don't have to work there, they do. Next time I'll opt out of the red peppers, but the other peppers weren't too bad that they included. The young lady who had authority over my sandwich did it major justice. I will return, only to-go. And no red peppers! Maybe extra cheese.

    Gluten free bun

My son is gluten free and he says this place has the best gluten free bun he has had. Personally I think they need more ingredient options, like black olives, cucumbers, etc... but it is a good sandwich still. They have good service and a clean environment. Sweet Tea Rating: 6/10 The sweet tea is decent. The flavor is somewhat unique and I can't tell if I like it or not. But it is definitely sweet.

I'm going to withhold torrential criticism of this establishment since I am new to it and I don't…read morewant to discourage folks however there are certain cautions that I think folks considering Harvey's should bear in mind. There is a dine in option however the place is relatively small and they have quite a busy "To Go" service so it is akin the having a meal along a busy sidewalk. Please don't misunderstand, if your option is to consume your meal in a facility or in your car it is likely more convenient but that ends the contrast. Because it is o "To Go" oriented for instance if you order gumbo (which I did) you will be given a small plastic spoon and salad (which I ordered) will be segregated (Like olives grouped together, feta grouped etc. ) in a container "To Go" container making it impossible to 'toss' without making a mess or using your hands. Let's address food which I have mentioned. Gumbo is akin to a Manhattan style fish chowder, not objectionable however not gumbo. The Greek Salad I gave already described with the addition of the fact that my dressing had solidified. When I pointed it out to the folks taking orders it was replaced however in this respect I'm glad I ate in...without a microwave it would not have liquified. Look, I am not an idealist, This is a sandwich "To Go" place I don't fault the owners at trying to make every square inch of a rental place earn money however the 'dine in' option is a convenience not an ambience. The 'gumbo' was not and the salad was a generous portion of lettuce, fresh vegetables, adequate feta however the initial dressing and the serving container for 'eat in' was disappointing. Next time I will order a sandwich which is a Deli goal.

My second time ever at this Buc-ee's after many years and it did not disappoint!…read more First of all - THE BRISKET TACO IS BOMB! We came during breakfast and we only got to try the brisket taco, tater tots, and Dr Pepper slushie but the taco alone was phenomenal. They had fresh brisket that they cut and then made the tacos right in front of us. If you're able to grab one of the hot and freshly cut brisket tacos for breakfast they are so juicy and good!! The rest of the store is amazing too! Of course we couldn't leave without a couple of souvenirs like every flavor of the jerky, Buc-ee's plushie keychain, pen and magnet. Everything was surprisingly affordable for branded merch! The staff were also very friendly and helpful even though there were so many customers. Definitely a great attraction and would come again!

Where to start! Buc-ee's is truly a beloved Texas cultural icon and an iconic road trip…read moreestablishment. This was my first time ever seeing or visiting a Buc-ee's, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! They have something for almost everyone, and the sheer size and variety of the place were quite a sight to see. The outside was packed with an impressive number of gas pumps (almost all of which were fully occupied when we visited), with freezers full of bags of ice lining the storefront and even branching onto the side. Once inside, there was so much to look through: home goods, jerky, candy, drinks, instant coffee stations, ICEE machines, fresh fruit, freshly made fudge, sandwiches and wraps, nuts, baked goods, Buc-ee's branded products, gift wares, Texas souvenirs, toys, and so much more. I had a hard time deciding what to get with so many options! We ended up leaving with some candy, an ICEE, gift shop items, Buc-ee's branded products and merchandise, and their chopped brisket sandwich. And honestly, the chopped brisket sandwich was much better than I expected from a gas station. The brisket was tender, juicy, and fairly flavourful. I went in with tentative expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was! The bathrooms were impressively large, clean, and surprisingly private, which is always a huge plus during a road trip. The store itself was fairly large, clean, well lit, and well stocked, with plenty of staff around if you needed help. It was genuinely fun to walk around and explore everything. This location also had EV charging stations. A few Buc-ee's rules to note: No transports and large commercial vehicles. No leaving your vehicle for extended periods (although I didn't see an exact time limit posted). No napping in your vehicle in the parking lot. (List is not comprehensive) For food hours, breakfast runs from 4:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with the transition to lunch taking place from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Their BBQ starts at 11:30 AM and runs until after midnight. It was a little crowded when we visited around 9PM on a Sunday, but I can understand why, and I can only imagine how busy it must get during prime travel hours. Overall, my first Buc-ee's experience was a lot of fun! We spent around an hour and a half perusing everything there. There was so much to see, eat, and explore, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I highly recommend making a pit stop at Buc-ee's if you get the chance!
