This is my first visit to a P. Terry's. I'm always one to download the app so I can easily customize my order and make it ahead of time. There app is a little confusing but was able to get it done! Their design and art is unique and fun. Feels refreshing and welcoming. Some of the options I picked for my food made it take a bit longer than your usual fast food order yet it still came out pretty quick! The staff was nice and had smiles on their faces. Very Chick-Fil-A like. Not sure how they cool their meat and fries but it was damn tasty. Would highly recommend you give it a shot if you're near one. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Words can't describe how good their burger and fries taste. Some of the best I've ever had in a long time, it blows all the other fast food places away easily! There's something about the simplicity of the burger that reminds me of In-n-Out. I know some people are one sided towards one or the other, but P.Terry's never lets you down on their quality food. Any of their food is good, from the regular hamburger, to the cheeseburger, and double cheeseburger. Let's not forget the chicken sandwich either! Their fries are super great and you can ask them to cook them longer to make them extra crispy or ask for no salt on them. Don't skip out on breakfast either! The Sausage, Egg and Cheese Burger is a great pick me up food in the morning. The milkshakes are a must have as well. Any of their flavors are great, but you have to check our their flavor of the month whenever they come out... they rotate them and they are all delicious! Every P.Terry's that I've been to (except for drive thru only) has a sand pit and outdoor seating. Enjoy the views or the outdoor dining when you go (when permissible) This location is quite the drive from where I reside, but I hope that they build more locations here in Houston! read more

Extremely Disappointed! I'm not in this area often so I thought I would stop by and try something new. Like I said previously, I frequent this chain when in Austin. Not all locations are created the same:/ I attempted to try the Grilled Chicken sandwich and as you can see...nawwww. This is not it. I went back in to change it to a burger, ugghh, I was trying not to have beef. Customer service was not there as the guy at the counter was thoroughly confused when asked to adjust what I paid since the chicken was more pricier. So happy they're bringing P Terrys to Houston! Burgers are similar to In and Out, have fantastic sauces, and the chicken bites are SOOOO GOOD. Prices are also super affordable similar to in and out. I love how they have an outdoor seating area as well but they need to add at least one trash can outside. However, my only complaint is that the fries were definitely undercooked. This was our first time going to any P. Terry's. Honestly, I'd never even heard of it until I drove past it recently and looked it up. I was intrigued by the building because of the way it looked. I like that it captures that 'old fashioned' vibe. I'm so glad we decided to check it out. Customer service was great. Everyone was friendly and they were prompt with getting orders out. We came right before a big rush. But they were really quick. You can see that everyone was working hard and moving quickly. Even the little older lady wiping trays, tables, and cleaning was moving quickly and was so nice. Prices are very reasonable especially for the solid quality of food and portions. Taste and quality is definitely a lot better than typical fast food places. I've noticed people have compared it to In N Out. But this is better than In N Out imo. And I know people will probably fight me on that. Especially In N Out enthusiasts. But I said what I said LOL. They have some dessert options too that says is made in house. I tried the banana bread and wasn't expecting much from a fast food place but I was actually surprised that it was actually moist and pretty good. It's super clean inside. Very spacious and plenty of indoor seating. Good amount of parking. They also have a drive thru. Overall great spot. I'd be interested in trying their breakfast stuff next time and their shakes. Been wanting to try P. Terry's for a while now. Usually when I pass by the lines are long but this time on a Sunday afternoon it was pretty quiet so we decided to finally give it a try. I wasn't disappointed let me tell you. Just from a first time view of this burger there really isn't anything special to or about it. Seems pretty basic to me, however the flavor of the Angus beef patties is on point. For a basic looking burger the patties are pretty juicy. It was my first time trying these and maybe i didn't order mine right but I don't think they put any ketchup on them because mine was pretty dry, even the mayo seemed like they skimped on it. But that's ok I asked for a side of their special sauce and lathered it on the dryer side of the burger and some Ketchup on the side helped. Overall a pretty good tasting burger not too bad on the price either. The chicken bites were awesome! Crispy and full of flavor, we ordered the spicy special sauce and that was great as well. Finally can't forget about the fries, I really enjoyed their fries something about hand cut fries and how they fry them just enough to keep them slightly soft made these so good. Highly recommend them, service at the time I was there was quick but it did start to pick up. read more

Haven't been to P.Terry's since trying it in Austin over 10+ years ago, I remember being it a solid burger and fries for cheap price...was hoping it would be the same years later....I think it hit the spot again! I'm simple with a burger: plain, cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, special sauce, ketchup - I don't need anymore fixings than...I hate it when you can't taste the burger patty anymore. Saw a post about P. Terry's on Instagram and decided to try it out. The fresh ingredients and never frozen beef patties really make this an enjoyable burger. I would say some more salt on my fries would have been nice. But other than that I enjoyed my cheeseburger that I added bacon and grilled onions to. Service was ok. Friendly staff but the young lady taking our order did ask after each item we added if that was all which irritated my friend a little. I recently placed an online order with P. Terry's in Richmond, TX. It was a pretty simple order: two large fries, one double-meat/double-cheese with bacon and grilled jalapenos, and one triple-meat/triple-cheese with bacon and grilled jalapenos. Not rocket science, just a simple request from their menu! I picked it up shortly after placing the order and drove home....only a few minutes away. Upon arrival at home, I discovered two large fries and a single-meat burger with cheese, which was ice cold! The other burger was a double-meat/double-cheese with bacon and grilled jalapenos. At least they got the fries and one burger correct!!! I called the manager, and she apologized, stating that she would REFUND the full amount of the order. Shortly afterwards, a corporate manager called to apologize. It's been three weeks and no refund! I paid for a seemingly simple order, was lied to about a refund, and received "shit" for food! I have always loved P. Terry's since I was in Austin. I had them before I ever heard of In & Out. Their burgers have always been fresh and good to me. I have missed them much when I moved away. So now I'm happy that they are somewhat closer to me than ever before. When I went, the place looked clean, including the bathroom. There were people in line and dining but the wait was not long. I ordered the single cheeseburger and sat outside on their patio watching the sunset. They had nice music going on in the background too. My burger was decent this time. I finished it pretty fast. Wow so the food was fantastic, perfect in size and price. I could not believe what I got for 10.85+ tax a cheeseburger that is just right, fries that are just right, drink that refills and a milk shake for under 3 bucks. Loved the food, the design, the service and the price. They snuck into Houston without telling us!!! We typically hit P. Terry's every time we are in Austin due to the good burgers, good prices, crispy fries, and friendly service. No major fall off here... The new item of peach tea was nothing special, but the soda machine was bubbly fresh, and had some of the old time greats, plus the throwback labeling. The decor is standard P. Terry, and the place is consistently swept, as we saw them come through several times while we ate. Our favorite part are the crispy fries!! Let me preface my review by saying I love P.Terry's. BUT... the past 3 times I've bought burgers from here there has been HAIR in my burgers! The first time it happened I didn't think much of it (it happens I get it). The next time it happened I was a little shocked. Both these times they were burgers purchased in drive thru. This last time we dined in and for a THIRD TIME WE GOT HAIR IN OUR BURGER! This is kinda crazy because they all wear hair nets. Each time we found hair it was long and inside the burger (you wouldn't be able to see the hair until you were already eating it or it was in your mouth). Not saying it's intentional but it's very weird for it to happen 3 times in a row. I definitely will not be back to this location. Hope someone investigates what's going on at this location because it's disgusting. read more

My wife and I were introduced to P Terry when our two daughters were attending college in Austin. It had been six years since we took a bite of a P Terry burger and fries. So when a T Perry opened in our neighborhood, my wife got us dinner to go. We went with the standard cheeseburger and fries. The burger was smaller than the typical Whataburger or Burger King, but it tasted just as good. The fries were awesome, better than any fast food buger shacks. Prices were definitely affordable. The employees were friendly and efficient even though it was still in soft opening mode. Next up will be the P Terry Mike shake. read more
