Update: So, the business replied that they don't offer "measurements," but rather "sizes." Which begs the question: How do you ensure consistency and value if the "sizes" are meaningless? I mean, it's possible that I might get a 10" Regular then? Because that's never happened. Regular used to be 8"; now it's barely 7". Removing the measurement so you don't get accused of pulling a Subway (which they've at least rectified) is just a way to save money by offering the consumer less. Which is fine, but at least be honest about it so we can know what we're paying for. And mine is more a critique of what's very likely a corporate decision, so I understand the local manager/owner is probably stuck with it. read more

I just want to say that this location would be so much different if the manager was better to her employees. Everytime I am there she is disrespectful and out right rude to the young employees. She was screaming at one young lady. When I visit and she's not on duty everything is smooth and flowing great. I hope this isn't the standard you hold your managers too. Horrible manger named Nina Gibison, i worked there for 1 day and never got sent the paperwork for me to be able to complete my banking information and when i asked her she told me i have a terrible attitude and that she's glad that i decided to quit. she was also convicting me of something i didn't do and when i asked for the camera footage she told me she can't show me it. its so sad that this store has to deal with a manger like this when the actually store is great. still till this day she claims she's sending me the paperwork but yet have got the paperwork nor the money that i worked for. read more

This place used to be great. I think the owner has been on site less because, even though they remodeled, they have gone to hell. Our last two orders have been screwed up. Last time they forgot my wife's dinner. When I called, they said I could drive back or they would write down my name for a sandwich credit. This time, they were arguing about my order and I asked if they were sure it was right. (I should have checked). They assured me it was, and I checked to insure 2 sandwiches were there. This time, she got some kind of spicy chicken thing which my wife couldn't eat. I tried to call and no one would answer for 15 minutes. (They probably recognized my number). Pretty good subs, not anything special. Average price for lunch. Typically $8-9 for a regular sandwich with chips and drink. Pay attention to the daily specials and sign up for the jersey mikes card, you get points for every sandwich you buy, then eventually get a free one. Always very clean, staff is constantly cleaning off tables, or their sandwich making line. Staff is good, nice, and quick. They go a little heavy on the mayo and oil/vinegar FYI-I usually ask for it lite, and still get more than I want. read more

Today I was baffled when my husband & I went in and ordered a mini & regular sandwich. We moved along the line and when I got to the cashier I explained what we had but she looked at the sandwiches and said which one was supposed to be a mini. I then realized that the person had accidentally made both sandwiches regulars. This is when it got odd...the cashier (may have been a manager) said to the guy, "cut some of that off" and so they cut a couple inches off the sandwich & threw it away. So you would rather throw away the extra than just let someone have it....wow. There are many things since COVID that have made my customer service standards lower but this to me was crazy!! It's not about me getting something for free, but the way it was handled. When someone has an opportunity to up the customer service game I think they should & they couldn't use the 2in portion...it went in the garbage! I really wish that I could give this restaurant a better review. The quality of the food is great; however, the service is lacking. On 2 separate occasions I called to order lunch for myself and my co-workers (4-6 sandwiches each time) on both occasions I was told that they would not make my sandwiches because I did not give 24hours notice. I have walked in and had more sandwiches than that made before. After the second time I left a comment on the corporate website. I was contacted shortly thereafter by the owner of this establishment and told that I would receive a coupon or credit of some sort as an apology as 24hour notice us not required for an order like mine. I received nothing so I contacted the owner again and he again told me that he would email me something. I still haven't received anything several months later. On Labor Day we tried to give this place another try. Called in a 10 sandwich order. Nearly 2 hours in advance and was told that they already had 2 "to go" orders and could not guarantee my order at any point during the day as they were not sure how busy they would get later. I asked if I could just walk in and order and I was then told that if I did that they would refuse my business. Wow! I wasn't expecting that! I called the nearby Firehouse subs and they gladly accepted my order and had it ready within 30 minutes. And yes, Firehouse was busy when I went in to get my sandwiches. I am glad that more food options are coming to the area because this restaurant will no longer get business from me or my coworkers. read more

Love Jersey Mike's but the location in Lake Wylie is best avoided. The food is good but the staff is awful. I've not had good experiences there recently but after today I won't be back. The teenaged staff was more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. When serving customers the staff seemed half asleep; no smiles, no energy, and moving slowly even as the line grew to more than a dozen customers. The cashier seemed confused by our simple order. While I was there, one customer left because the line wasn't moving and another left after after waiting in line after the staff got her order wrong. Worst of all, they were playing Disney music (literally Hi Ho It's Off to Work We Go and orchestral Little Mermaid) and when I and another customer complained the manager just shrugged and said he let one of the staff pick the music like he didn't have the authority to change it to something more appropriate. So bad service and they don't care that they are offering bad service. Avoid this location. read more

I had just hard the worsted experience I had ever had at a Jersey mikes. I was at the lake Wylie SC 29710 store. This evening. Ordered 2 giant subs steak on with No peppers and the other one regular just add lettuce oil vinegar and mayo. Got home the one that was to have no peppers had jalapeños and the one that was regular had none but had sweet peppers. Called the store which bill apparently sold. And talked to a young manager girl. She started to be very very defensive and said you have to ask for no peppers and no jalapeños which makes no sense cause my other sandwich had no jalapeños. Asked for her name to make a formal complaint she wouldn't tell me her name. And she said that she does not have the time to talk with me and she was going to hang up. Which she did. I called the Indian land location cause I didn't want to go to corporate or write a bad review because I know how bad they look. But I am way to upset that I spent 20 per sub and can't eat either one. And the staff at the lake Wylie store was very rude and not willing to make the order correct. read more

While the quality of the food was fine, the value was thoroughly lacking. This store would not honor an official company coupon. Thus, $12 for a sub combo is NOT a good value. Filed my grievance with corporate ( in great detail) and franchise owner was ambivalent about my issue. Suffice to say, this was the LAST money i ever spent at ANY jersey mikes. Subway is a far better value,ditto to Sub Station II, and there are many high end , non- franchise sub shops that are higher quality if price is not a consideration. I went in to get a sub for dinner, this was my first time in Jersey Mikes and two teenagers named Dallas and Bryan were there. Their customer service was spectacular and I was quite impressed, they honestly some of the best customer service I've seen from teens. This is by far the best Jersey Mike's Ive been too. I have been eating subs here ever since they opened the location. What sets this chain sub shop apart is there employees. The team assembled that runs the place is top notch. They don't seem to have a high turnover which creates consistency and quality! This has been my favorite sub shop the subs are always great I decided today to grab several on my way home. I remembered I had a a ,buy one get one with purchase of a fountain drink so i grabbed 4 bottled beverages the young girl proceed to inform me to keep the coupons for another time you can only use it with a fountain drink she must not be very good in math because the price they charge on bottle beverage is a lot higher then a fountain drink I will remember her attitude the next time and go somewhere else. After a long day of work I stopped in to buy subs for the family. I ordered one giant, and two regular. Placed my order, told them how I wanted them and moved to the register. While waiting I paid for my order and moved aside so others could pay. The place was not busy, one person in front of me, and one person behind. 4 workers behind the counter. It seemed they were somewhat unorganized and didn't have set roles. Service was slow. I was handed my bag and out the door I went. Didn't think I needed to check my order, it was only 3 sandwiches! Drove all the way home, and found my order was incorrect. I paid for one giant and got three regular. Tired, and angry at this point I called the store, they were too busy to talk to me I was told, they would call me back. (I guess you are less important if you've already paid). Manager called me back, told me she would give me a credit for half the sandwich, no apology. Gave her my credit card number, security code, expiration. Then nothing. My account was never credited, and even though she had my phone number she never called to tell me there was a problem! Never again, there are other Jersey Mikes far more organized and efficient. read more
