We stopped here one lunchtime and weren't disappointed. Spic-n-span clean store, enough employees to keep things moving, and a great #1 Fried Chicken sandwich. While we've come to expect the tasty chicken offerings, they also excel at hiring and training employees. Everyone we had contact with was tip-top ... friendly and helpful. Late in our meal we went up to get a second apple juice for our grandson ... no charge, they just gave it to us. Very, very smart ... for something that costs them 25 or 50 cents they just purchased $20 of goodwill. This was a 5 star experience, especially because of the employees. Recommended. read more

I went through the drive thru yesterday and I had the amazing opportunity to meet a young man red haired man! I have poor eyesight so I couldn't really read his name but it looked like Mac. He was very respectful and he made me feel like a person rather than a customer. He was very patient when I was having trouble with my app and he kindly showed me how to redeem my reward rather than him just doing it for me which I appreciate. Took ages in the drive through. OK that can happen. But I ordered a side salad. There were no utensils and no salad dressing in the bag. I caught that there was no utensil before I drove away, but didn't catch there wasn't any salad dressing. I had to go back! How can you screw up a salad? 4.09 for a cup of fruit?? Really? If I wasn't going through the drive thru with 2 sick kids I would have told them to keep their cup of fruit for $4.09. The drive thru menu board did not include the price or I would have ordered another meal for the $8.18 I spent on 2 fruit cups. Major shout out to Erica! I had gotten a free french fry and a free five count chicken nugget, and my Chick-fil-A app canceled the order. Erica kindly took me to the side and helped me figure out my app. She then went back into the store to go see if she could figure it out. She came out in two minutes with a receipt in her hand she confirmed that it was me and then went back to get my food. This place makes me frustrated. My order was missing the dressing, pepper , fork... I went back to complain and felt sarcasm treatment.

Every single time I come to this location something is missing from my order. The past 3 times I've gone, something is missing and I try to do a good job at checking to make sure I have everything quickly to not hold up the line. This location does not pay attention to detail. They do not make sure everything you ordered is in the bag. They have handed me someone else's order. They have offered my 3.5 year old a free dessert to pick to out, only to get home and not find that dessert inside. You can imagine her reaction. Dry salads because they completely forget the dressing. The list goes on. I've waited in long lines. They've had me pull forward to wait longer. The only thing I order are 2 salads and 2 kids chicken nugget meals. Nothing crazy. I will not be coming back to this chick fil a. It's been a horrible experience. I'm am typing this while on the toilet (i dont care if that's tmi) literally every single time I eat here I get sick. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can't anymore. I'm saying something now because the other times were tolerable, but this time I've literally been on and off the toilet for 3 hours straight. I dont know if someone isn't washing their hands or if there's something wrong with the grease. The fries are never fresh so it's probably the latter. Just a recommendation, I always visit Chick-Fil-A, you are the best quick service out there today. You do a great job with training your teams. But you have to get small menus to your DT cashiers when they walk the line. I order the same thing everytime because I don't know what else you have. I never get to see the menu and the process on the app is also not easy. I don't want to place an order on the app to get to the menu. You might even sell more per order if your teams had menus. read more

Shocked in a good way. I came to get a meal during the coronavirus pandemic. All employees followed CDC recommendations of social distancing and wore masks. They had on gloves and were polite and kind. I was able to get my meal quickly they had an organized system for customers and those who were doing door dash. They put items in a sanitized bin to reach you. The food was good. They are giving extra points for Mobil orders. Supporting places in my community so people can keep their jobs. read more

This Chick-Fil-A location is EXCELLENT ! I have been multiple times since they have opened the brand new location at the Arboretum and have had a great experience every time. The service has been fast, correct, and friendly every time. I normally order a combination of Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Nuggets, Waffle Fries, and Polynesian Sauce for my family and I've NEVER had a problem with a wrong order or cold food. I avoid this Chic-fil-A at all costs. The traffic pattern for drive through and parking are a nightmare. Getting in and out from the main road is just asbad. This has to be the longest I can ever recall sitting in a drive-thru. Once in line you can't escape they don't have a pull out line ,so we sat in line for 13-18 minutes depending ordering or food pickup. The food was consistent as always and hot I'll add this because its a better part of the experience. I love chick-fil-a and I really wish they were in New York. The prices are completely reasonable and the quality of food is so good! It would put McDonalds to shame. Their chicken nuggets and strips are so fresh it honestly gets me every time. Additionally, the chick-fil-a sauce is a must try! They have also come out with a honey mustard BBQ sauce which I have to admit is better than the chick-fil-a sauce! I didnt think it was possible but it is. I used to mix the chick-fil-a sauce and BBQ and now with this new sauce they kind of did it for you. Anybody who has been here and tried the chick-fil-a sauce knows why its such a big deal, especially to claim there is something better! The staff here was really nice. I found it funny because one of the girls asked us right away where we were from. We answered NY and an employee asked "Why are you here" which my friends and I thought was hilarious. And of course like the New Yorkers we are we teased her for a little like "should we go back" "you don't want us" She seemed to be really embarrassed so playing around with her seemed to ease her up. Stopped in the Arboretum location in Charlotte North Carolina. Was assisted by a person named Jess. Ordered a large diet sunjoy. No other customer was in line when I approached the counter. After paying for my order a customer finally arrived and Jess told me to step aside so that she could take their order instead of fixing my one item, a drink. I let her know that I would prefer that she make my drink so that I could leave. She was very upset about that and made no secret of her distain for my request and me personally. After making the drink, she proceeded to slam my drink on the counter and give me a straw that landed in a wet spot on the counter. I asked to speak to a manager and was assisted by the marketing Director. While talking to him in a spot about 10 feet from the counter, Jess stood a few feet away staring daggers at me. She was extremely hostile and looked like she wanted to attack me. The marketing Director had to ask her to leave. I did speak with the store GM Robert who did not seem too upset or surprised by her behavior. He did not offer to remake my drink or refund my money or give me a gift certificate or anything. I felt terrible after this experience. No one should have to have this happen to them when getting a drink at a Chick-fil-A. read more

This chick fil a is extremely busy during lunch time! I came here with my mentor for a quick meal during a job. Lines were very long, but our orders were taken promptly and fast. Chick fil a is well, the same with all the other chain restaurants? Inside was orderly and clean. I didn't expect less especially since it in south Charlotte. Good place for a quick (if you don't go during extremely busy times) meal. All in all, I got my quick wrap and was back on the road and to work. This is by far the best Chickfila in the greater Charlotte area. The staff is extremely helpful and caring and they serve the food extremely quickly but still maintaining the great standard of quality. The staff will come and clear your table when you are done with your food and then wipe it when you leave for the next client. The food itself is always excellent whereas some other locations are hit and miss. read more

I don't understand what the mobile order and the app are good for. It certainly does not speed the order and pickup process! I pulled into the pickup line today and it took me 20 minutes to go 4 cars. I was in the left lane. The right lane was moving fairly quickly. They must have been training someone in my lane. When I got to the window, they did not have my order ready. I pulled into a parking space and waited another 10 minutes for my order. The number one complaint about fast food is speed. It's not always fast. Unfortunately, this is a reoccurring event at this location! It shouldn't take me 30 minutes to pick up my order when I place it online. Might I suggest you train people at less busy times. Or if you order online, allow me to checkin once I'm in line so my order will be ready. It would move the line along faster and it would make your customers happy. Due to the 30-minute wait time, I am giving this Chick-fil-A location 2 stars. What has happened to everybody's favorite fast food chain. They seem to have no regard for humiliating a good customer. I bought 2 gift cards for $50.00 each on 3/5. They gave me two receipts one for me and one each for the folks I bought the gifts for. One of the ladies is a preachers wife and the other was a single grandmother of 3 kids. She took her gkids to Chic Filet and they all placed their order. She was so happy and ready to pay when they told her the card was empty. She then produced the receipt. They said we are sorry but there is nothing on the card. They gave her an 800# and said give them a call. She made the call and then was told she had to fill out a form. I told Her I would go back to this Chick Filet with my receipts and I am sure they would apologize and give me two new cards with the money. Tonight I went there with all my back up materials. After waiting patiently in the car line because Chick Filet feels they don't need to unlock the door and let folks come inside. It seems Hardee's, Burger King & Bojangles have all unlocked the door but Chic Filet has decided to milk the Covid excuse as long as possible. They don't care how bad you need to "p" you ain't coming inside. Back to the story. The manager speaks to me at the window and says she will come to the parking lot. A little bit later she shows up outside and hands me the receipts with an 800# and told me to call it. I was shocked. When Mr. Truett Cathy came to my church many years ago I wonder if he built this incredible reputation based on not trusting the customers who show up and support them every time the media pounces on them. I think sadly the virus has turned them into the opportunistic money grabbers like so many other restaurants. When I told the lady how surprised I was at her response she ran off back to the store.
