The lady working drive-through was Kurt, but we all have bad days. She was efficient and the food was delicious perfectly cooked.

    Overpriced cup of fruit!

4.09 for a cup of fruit?? Really? If I wasn't going through the drive thru with 2 sick kids I would have told them to keep their cup of fruit for $4.09. That's what I get for trying to get them something healthier than the usual option of fried hashbrowns. It would have been great to know that a cup of fruit was $4.09 before I ordered. The drive thru menu board did not include the price or I would have ordered another meal for the $8.18 I spent on 2 fruit cups. For the convenience of utilizing a fancy double lane drive thru they can somewhat justify charging $4.09 for a fruit cup. Once shame on. Twice shame on me! Next time I won't listen to my kids and go against my better judgement and will choose one of the many other eating establishments with far more reasonable prices and tasty food at the Arboretum. And next time I am buying food in bulk for a work event I will choose a different option. I encourage others to do the same. Thanks!

The most disgusting sandwich ever, cold, and chewy, weird taste, definitively from a day before, chick-fil-a used to be good.

Ordered today, I hope the manager take care of the quality of the food in that kitchen, no more, lately I have been getting sick of my stomach buying the regular chicken sandwich, I decided to try the grilled sandwich and is worse. The independence Chick-fil-A is so far the best.

Came here to drive thru to get some breakfast. They were fast and friendly. My order was correct. My biscuit was good and so were the hash browns. You also can't go wrong with their sweet tea.

This place makes me frustrated. My order was missing the dressing, pepper , fork... I went back to complain and felt sarcasm treatment.

just noticed the chicken filet are half the thickness and size they used to be. It's no longer a filet just a thin breaded patty now.

I didn't want yellow rice, so I ordered the potatoes and cauliflower as my sides. The sides were $9 each, and the portions were very generous. However, both needed more seasoning or salt. The chicken, on the other hand, was a little too salty and had several burned pieces. I understand that some people enjoy charred chicken, but this was too much char for my preference. I also strongly prefer white meat and assumed the kebabs would be made with chicken breast, but they contained a mixture of white and dark meat. Garlic sauce is usually my favorite part when ordering from similar restaurants, but I did not enjoy the garlic sauce here. It tasted more like sour cream mixed with garlic, which was unusual and not what I expected. The cauliflower was also different from what I anticipated. I expected battered, fried cauliflower, but it appeared to be a large piece of plain cauliflower dipped directly into hot oil. There was also a significant amount of oil pooled at the bottom of the container. Overall, the portions were generous and the delivery was timely, but the flavors and preparation just weren't for me.

I grew up eating Mexican food and have a thing for finding best flavor and quality for food. I knew I wanted to try a bbq place hear as I've heard such great things and let me tell you I was absolutely blown away! Lately things have been so pricey and feel like you get hidden fees or 20% of service on top of tip and a whole bunch of weird extra charges so obviously going out to eat has been more challenging as you pay more but get less. This place was the absolute opposite of that! We came here twice before we had to fly out to Minnesota. First time we tried the tray of meats and boy was that special. First of the brisket was delicious! But our server recommended the turkey and that was the juiciest most flavorful turkey I've ever had in my life! The sides were amazing and something I never had before was a slaw that had acidity with vinegar and it paired so well. I ordered a Twinkie for the first time and let me tell you I won't see a jalapeño the same again. In Mexican food we have them a lot but never this way and now I'm determined to try to make the more. At the end of our meal our server asked if we wanted dessert and guess wha it was ABSOLUTELY COMPLIMENTARY!! WHATTT?!? And not just like a scoop of ice cream different options of COBBLLERRRR!!! We did not see that coming and it was absolutely delicious! The second time we came I tried the fried okra and that was my first time it blew me away! I also had the potatoe that was loaded and wowowowowo so much flavor and deliciousness. Give it was our last time I got the Twinkie again and it did not disappoint! I wish this place success and that they continue to expand and maybe pray they come to MN. The place is clean and they have a lot of seating and food was incredible.

But the guy was new and being trained. The portions as you can see by the second photo which is half of the food. On the original plate. Was my lunch the next day. All of the items were good B+\A- although I will say the original location in Concord is still the champ. The smoke flavor in the meat was not as pronounced here as in Concord my guess is they rushed the smoking and finished it on an electric heat instead of full smoke but that's just a guess. It was a busy Wednesday night, so it was a little bit noisy, but that could also be because I was eating alone so I won't ding the Ambiance. If you've never eaten at the original location, you would probably give this a day or a plus, but having tasted their original recipes, you can tell the difference still very good would still be back but it's hard to beat the original

I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the paintings and other decorations spread throughout the dining room. The kitchen is visible as well which makes for a more immersive dining experience. The menu seemed to have plenty of seafood but I figured I'd opt for their special, a Blackened Red Snapper with Bacon Jalapeño Cream Sauce. It came with two sides so I decided to try out their okra and collard greens, after a recommendation from my waiter. I typically don't order collard greens but he said they have pork and are delicious. The place wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, about 10 minutes after I ordered. The food looked decent upon first glance, but I wasn't sold just yet. After my first bite of fish, I was taken aback by the delicious flavor of their cream sauce paired with the blackened fish. It was a solid portion of fish and tasted of good quality, so it didn't stand much a chance. The sides were also just as delicious. It's hard to mess up fried okra so my expectations were met to a tee. The collard greens were actually so incredible as well. I don't really know what they're made of but I definitely will be trying it more in the future, if other places prepare it as good. They also had a house hot sauce with was more flavor than heat, but paired wonderfully with everything. The whole meal was so good so I understand why they seem to a have solid amount of regulars at this place. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. If you want a taste of Louisiana, this place is a solid option in Charlotte.

That said, Yard Dog is not a dog at all, but a superb little restaurant with a great menu and mouth-watering foods. Oh boy! Wife and I entered and were surprised at just how small their dining area was. Couple that with a not-so-pleasant noise level, you will have difficulty seating more than four and conversation will be tough, but not impossible. You came to eat. It is a very cozy, busy and fun place. In addition to the super menu there is a chalk board with specials. Check those out first. I spotted catch of the day, which was Red Snapper, a favorite of mine, which came with two sides ($26). When served, it was three fillets, so the whole eatable parts of the fish, topped with a Cajun spice mixture and a horseradish sauce. This is a to-die-for or last meal item. The fish was perfectly cooked and my side of collards were as mammy has done for eons: flavorful with pork and a perfect complement to my catch of the day. And the fried okra was great and I paid the $.50 for ranch dressing, as fried okra SHOULD be so complemented. Wife does not eat sea food, so she was, initially, confronted with the challenge of finding a dish without seafood in it. She did. There were a number of options, like pasta with Andouille sausage ($21) which is listed as with shrimp, but they omitted the shrimp for her. She also spied blackened meatloaf and some other items for the next visit. The place is busy and the wait staff is hustling as fast as the kitchen can get orders out. The kitchen looks so small, but they are a blur of motion cooking and plating. Kudos to the kitchen and servers. Our server was Sophie and she was excellent. There are beverages on a separate menu, mostly wine, beer and hard cider, with some non-alcohol items also available. We both had hard cider at $6 a can. Draft beer was available at $7 a glass. We will definitely return, even give lunch a try. I will most likely answer the siren call for five stars, which is certainly in the cards. See for yourselves.
