I was lucky in arriving early for lunch, so the lunch crowd wasn't there yet, and I was able to be seated. I ordered the beef & cabbage soup. A dish I have been eating there for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, it was not as good as the last time I had it, or the many times before. It has always been like a sweet and sour base. This time the soup was very salty, almost inedible. It was served with bagel chips, which were nice and crunchy. I wish I was super hungry to enjoy one of their sandwiches. I saw them coming out of the kitchen looking delicious. Hopefully the next time I visit the soup will be better. I will definitely be ordering a sandwich too. The service was excellent all around.

Yes, in response to the owner, I am aware that most modern phones offer a hotspot, but my review point is mostly that the location is not condusive to someone looking for a place to work/hang/read while enjoying a usual coffee house experience with wifi, due to it not being offered and the space not being large enough to have room for that customer, AND their deli foot traffic** The coffee was good, and the people-watching ambiance is awesome. I don't love that they don't offer Wi-Fi, but I assume it is so people won't linger, as seating is limited. Would give them another try if they did, as I appreciate being able to multitask and get work done while grabbing a coffee or lunch. Just isn't their vibe. Been coming to cuginos now for almost 10 years. A hidden gem along Maryland that if I was a unlv student I'd be broke eating here everyday. The pizza is always hot and crispy crust with little flop. The inside of Cugino's is deli and market style with boxed pastas and canned sauces and other items for sale. The staff is always friendly. We ordered a cheese and a pepperoni and sausage pie today, both large. Both pies were outstanding as always. I already can't wait to come back.
