Hearty sandwiches and good service! There's plenty of sandwich shops in the area. Jersey Mike's is a good option with freshly sliced meats, excellent bread and veggies, and plenty of folks to make your meal quickly. The speed was good since there was quite a few people coming through. The sandwiches are sizeable and definitely filling. Expect to pay around $15 for a meal. I would recommend eating quickly after ordering due to their use of "the juice." It gives flavor but can also soak into the bread. Sides include some Lays varieties, Miss Vickie's kettle chips, packaged desserts, and either bottled or fountain Pepsi products. read more

I've been wanting to try Jersey Mike's from the commercials. Typically go to Jimmy John's. Also having worked in Philly (Philadelphia) years ago and would drive to Jersey "shore" on weekends, I'd give it a go. My 10 year old and I visited one on Hurstbourne. Took a while to view menu. Ultimately nothing I saw looked like "cheesesteaks" I had in Philly. So I actually took a hard pass. My 10 yo son ordered a "regular" club sandwich (seemed simple and safe): cheese turkey and ham(I believe) on cheesy bread which was already pre-cut. The bread was wide and good size but it did have a nice flavor but just tooo much bread for so little meats and toppings. NOTHING close to their pictures or commercial. I was very very disappointed how little meat and thin slices of meats & cheese were put on it; looked like 3 thin slices of each but very very thin slices. You could almost see through the meat slices. When my son wanted more veggies or lettuce etc we were told that could not give. At Jimmy John's Extra veggies are FREE. I added a bag of chips and fountain drink for additional $4. When I saw how little substance in club sandwich, I thought of commercial decades ago "where's the beef." Very unimpressed and at the prices being charged of $15, it is NOT worth it. Not on our return list. Jersey Mike's has grown on me since my first couple of ill-fated visits (none related to this particular location). We've been to this location a number of times and never had a problem. I love the Jersey Mike's aesthetic. Sun. Sand. Beach. Subs. At Jersey Mike's you have your hot subs and you have your cold subs. Cold subs include your standards like Italian, Ham & Provolone, and the Club. One of my frequent subs is the Italian made Mike's Way® (with Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices). I like to add jalapeños on occasion. The hot subs include the Mike's Famous Philly, a Chipotle Cheese Steak, and (my personal favorite), the Big Kahuna Chicken Cheese Steak. For those of you playing our home game, it's got grilled chicken, grilled onion, peppers, mushrooms, and jalapeños. It makes my tummy happy. Jersey Mike's introduced me to white cheddar cheese. It not only introduced me to it, it made it my standard cheddar cheese. Don't ask me what's different about it other then the colour, but it somehow tastes different and that difference is worth seeking it out. Not feeling like bread? You can get any sub as a wrap as a bowl. Jim (that's me!) is not a fan of this but the wife definitely is because it strips away most of the carbs. Me, I like the carbs. I WANT the carbs. They have the typical array of chips available as sides (Featuring the awesomess that is Mrs. Vickie's chips), and cookies for dessert. You can meal-ize your sandwich with chips and a drink (like most sub shops) for a reasonable fee. I was impressed with the way this location adopted to to COVID and was able to quickly shift to the carryout/curbside scenario. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful, and they do a great job of keeping the restaurant clean. On a couple visits there were employees paying more attention to friends that walked in than they were to the customers that were in the store. Had a cheese steak here and honestly, not the best I've had but nowhere near the worst. I thought for what I got it was good. The tables were dirty and the wait was long, but it's more about the food anyways. I'd come here again for a sub. Their coupons are also excellent as far as food places go. I normally don't review nationwide chains since people already know those brands, but I have to shout out Beau from this Jersey Mike's location. I order JMs from here a lot; sometimes, it's a pickup and other times it's delivery. It depends on the day. The food ranges from excellent to average, but it's a healthy meal (Turkey and provolone bowl) and decently priced. I ordered delivery today on a very busy workday. When my delivery arrived, only a sandwich was in the bag: no chips or tea. I flagged down the driver (DoorDash) and asked if she had the rest of my order. She did not and said I'd have to call the store and sped off (Ugh...) This was around 230pm and I wouldn't be able to leave and get more food until 6pm. Bummer, right? I called the store immediately, expecting nothing more than being asked to come get my forgotten items myself or given a refund for the chips and drink. I was wrong. Beau, the nice man on the phone, asked for my address and said he would personally deliver my chips and tea right away. I was stunned, and within 10 min Beau was at my door with my items for no additional charge. I've worked in customer service for 16 years and been a manager for 9 of those, and I absolutely have to shout out this stellar service. Props to Beau and all of the Jersey Mike's staff! This is the best sub place. I don't know what it is, but Jersey Mikes nails it on flavor and value! This particular eatery is always super clean! The staff is always super friendly. This a one of the newer Jersey Mikes, and so far they are doing very good. We ordered the Large Philly Steak with extra cheese. This is one of our favorites besides the Italian Sub which is very good as well. We also tossed in some potato chips. Miss Vickie's Salt and Vinegar Chips are packed with flavor. My wife likes Doritos. If you wanna sub and good service, this is one of the better ones! read more

Haven't been to a Jersey Mike's in years, mainly because I'm not a big fan of deli sandwiches unless hot/grilled style on occasion. However, after retrieving my car from Honda service, Jersey Mike's was closeby and I needed to go meals for my daughter & me. Pulled up the menu on my phone and quickly sent to my daughter for her to decide her order. She wanted roast beef and provolone on white toasted. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it wasn't simple, because Jersey Mike's only grills the Philly cheesesteak sub and a few others. I was told by an employee they absolutely could NOT toast the roast beef sandwich. Wondering if this is a true can not vs a "we don't want to". But this was strike 2 after waiting a considerable time to even have our order taken. 3 employees, one customer besides me in store.‍ Anyway, I ended up just ordering the largest Turkey & cheese sub for us to share at home & calling it a day. They do put more meat on the subs than Jimmy John's by far but at the higher price points (for basic deli sandwiches, nothing spectacular), Id likely head to Penn Station subs where they're happy to prepare the subs as a customer requests. I wouldn't go out of my way to return to a Jersey Mike's the few occasions I eat a deli sandwich. read more

This has to be the worst Jersey Mikes I've been to. Got our sandwiches ordered but it took so long to make two mini and one regular. No one was in front of us. We got them ordered paid for and drinks done and they were still trying to wrap them. By the time we sat to eat they were completely soggy from sitting on the counter with oil and vinegar. Watched a guy order his sandwiches and they dressed one wrong putting oil/vinegar on it. When he made them aware they just took the toppings off and refused to remake it. They are lucky he didn't just walk out because I know I would have. If I wouldn't have already paid for my order I would have walked out due to the length of time it was taking. I have visited several times and have never left without an issue, from making sandwiches with ripped gloves, running out of ingredients, a dirty work area and witnessing infighting amongst workers. Someone from Point Pleasant, NJ needs to come out and revoke their franchise license. Save yourself the aggravation and walk 50ft to the Penn Station next store. read more

First I'll say I'm a long time loyal customer. Have never had any complaints. The day after thanksgiving I ordered 3 giant subs (each approx $15). My particular sandwich was supposed to have oil and vinegar on it, but only had oil. As you can imagine it was pretty gross. I emailed jersey mikes and received an email back that I had to contact the actual location, since they are individually owned. I called this location, spoke to a manager, she was very nice and agreed to refund me for that sandwich. For some reason she had trouble putting it back on my card, so she told me she was going to write my name and credit amount (15.64) down and put it on the board. Never did she say I had a certain amount of time to use my credit. Fast forward to today, I called to place an order and use my credit. The kid that answered put the manager on the line. I started to explain to him the situation and he was rude, kept cutting me off and told me that I can't have a credit from that long ago. I informed him that the manager I spoke to didn't give me a time frame. He didn't care. Again, he was very rude. I was not trying to get anything for free. It was owed, and promised to me. I went here on Saturday. My experience was awesome. Deedee was my cashier and personally cooked my food. I'm from Chicago and my food experience at other restaurants was just horrible until I met Deedee. I tried to cal the store and tell the manager how exceptional Deedee was. I ended up going across the street to get different food after paying for my sandwich because it had residue on the bottom of the sandwich and the environment in the entire store was unclean and gross. Not to mention, the meat and cheese were all mixed together and touching, this is definitely not vegetarian friendly. Other Jersey Mikes stores I've been to have cleaned the surfaces and blades between each sandwich/order. No service or blades were cleaned the whole time I was in the store. I know it can happen anywhere, but found a hair in my sub there recently. On the next two visits, the woman taking orders obviously did not want to be there. Bad attitude. Today, ordered Chicken cheesesteak and received steak. They were making both on the grill at the same time. Their food and customer service was disappointing. The place was gross, not cleaned at all, and filthy. The counters had not been cleaned at all and they were putting sandwiches on the counters. The meat and cheese slicing/cutting machine had not even been attempted at cleaning it off. Ham and turkey was caked underneath the machine. During making my sandwich, other food materials got into my sandwich from previous orders. Not friendly to any vegetarians or food allergies. The employee making my sandwich had the wrong size and i corrected him to say it was a regular and he was confused as he did hear mini. i felt this was wrong to do as an employee and customer service to argue with me if he heard me wrong or not. Where they make the sandwiches, the employee would touch his hat and apron and then continue on with the sandwiches. He also hit the mayo bottle on the dirty counter multiple times since it was nearly empty resulting in other oils and food on the mayo bottle. i've had good reviews and experiences with other jersey mikes before but this one was the worst i've been to between the filthiness and customer service. read more

This location is terrible! I have been there four or five times only because my dad is not able to drive and likes a certain sub there. Every time I go, there's a bad experience. I wouldn't go back if it weren't for my dad. You call the number and it rings and rings and rings no one ever answers the phone. Then you go in there ...the workers never have eye contact ...they never say hi or welcome ....they just start standing there walking around taking five minutes to tie their apron in front while I'm just standing there waiting for someone to talk to me... then they finally do and I ask for a certain sandwich and he starts slicing cheese that has holes in it and I said is that provolone because I asked for the roast beef provolone sandwich he said no that's Swiss cheese and I said I don't want Swiss I want provolone. So he had to redo the cheese then he kept looking at who was coming in the door or who was outside and started to roll up the sandwich after he cut it...not paying attention that the top came off and he continued to roll it and leave it like that not noticing that it had fallen off. what the heck with these people??!! I've never been into a place where someone ignored you when you're trying to place an order until they were ready to talk to you! Uggghhh! read more
