I see via a few reviews after my initial review that this location may be under new leadership, and if so, it is noticeable for sure. Either new ownership or new management...or both, but either way, I appreciate it! Since my initial visit in 2023, I have recently been back multiple times after a wildly improved experience relating to service, cleanliness and quality of order. One visit was dine in, and the staff was friendly and helpful along with efficient, even with a line of people. Next visit was a mobile order. Only gripe here is I ordered for pick-up 45 minutes after, then a few minutes after I ordered I realized I would be by a lot sooner than expected. I called and let them know, and they confirmed they already had it made. On one hand that was nice, but on the other...they had prepared the food 35 minutes ahead of my scheduled pick-up time without knowing I was coming by sooner. I go to this Jersey Mikes at least 3 times a week. Today, I tried to do it on line and sent my order in. When I picked the two subs up, one, a BLT had only two small pieces of bacon on it. The other sub had mayonnaise on it, which I did not order. Both were a big disappointment.It was ticket number 01-000375-99-034573. I will not trust the online ordering again. Very bad experience. I left a very negative review of this location back in December but want to update so it reflects the current owner and management. This location in Madison has new management. He goes by "Q" and completely turned this location around. He even apologized for what happened to me even though it wasn't his fault. Food is amazing as usual!! The restaurant has a new feel to it. Me and Husband came here for Dinner tonight, It was Perfect. We havent been here in a long time. The new management this store is under is absolutely great. We spoke to Q he recommended a number 13 on rose Mary and to do it mikes way, I've never tried mikes way and I don't think I'll ever have a sub another way. The guy working there was standing outside and harassing my pregnant girlfriend as she walked in. Then told her someone was breaking into her car. So she freaked out then said just kidding. Then continued to her harass her while she was inside so she had to leave without even finishing her meal. It is actually kind of a shame what I experienced tonight because this Jersey Mike's at one point was really good. However tonight's experienced prove to be quite awful. We showed up on a Sunday evening at 7:26 p.m. and they already had turned their open light off which made me think they were closed however my wife was quick to point out that both the door and online mentioned that they were open until 8 p.m. Upon walking in we were greeted by Associates who were happy that we had arrived so much so that they began slamming pans around (sarcasm clearly). Now not every associate was being rude in this manner. There was a younger black man who I do not know the name of, that went out of his way to make us feel welcome despite the fact that his two older coworkers were going out of their way to make sure that we knew how irritated and inconvenience they were. This man asked how we were doing and even went out of the way to see if we wanted my 4 year olds sub cut up into a few extra small pieces for her to be able to eat. This is good customer service that I would not even have expected from a restaurant. As for the other two Associates when I placed my order he asked me what I had wanted extremely rude fashioned and even went as far as to snicker and made a psssh sound when my wife ordered her food. He rolled his eyes and kicked his head to the side. The woman that was older went over and began to make my wife's food and was slamming things around while doing so and putting on the most hateful display of behavior that I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. They bickered about wanting to go home after we got our food and sat down and another family walked in. The man went outside and began to take an obvious break and looked up at the light on the open sign that was turned off and threw his on the open sign that was turned off and threw his hands up in the air and complete disgust as he walked around the building giving. The woman that was working also went outside to take a smoke break and the two of them were clearly in discussion, probably discussing how Furious they were that they weren't going to get to leave early. Of course leaving the only young associate in the building to turn around and take care of cleaning duties while they were outside for roughly 10 minutes. Upon returning inside the building they locked the doors 10 minutes before their technical closing time to prevent any additional business from coming in the door and a moment later the phone rang and the woman yelled we are closed. I did go the extra way and actually left a very unnecessary tip and which case I really should have just pulled out $5 from my wallet and handed it to the young gentleman that was working there. The older man that had snickered at us initially told us to come back again one day. It's very unlikely that that will happen or be the case. On the upside, the subs were actually made pretty darn good as I come to expect from Jersey Mike's. I will be filing a formal complaint with jerseymikes relating to this issue because they clearly need new management at this facility As a manager this is one of the most horrific ways that you can treat your customers and run a business. read more

Food was fine but bad service! I ordered "online" and got there to pickup but the lady who started helping me said she didn't have an order in my name. After me telling her three times that I had placed the order and/or my name she passed me to the gray haired guy on the register, who was noticeably overwhelmed. He asked me the same questions that the lady asked and I gave the same answers. He was adamant that he had no order from me and went back to check, "I don't have an order for you". Right....so people con these guys somehow? I'm an idiot and don't know where I am? Whatever happened to customer service where they say "Do you have your confirmation? Let me figure this out for you."? As a two star already this location clearly has issues. THEY DID have my order! It was through Postmates but I had no idea! I placed an order on 8/2 for three subs. For some reason the next day Jersey Mike's didn't get the order. I spoke with the manager who kept saying, "Only four orders were available." I kept asking NUMEROUS times if he could locate it by the ticket number." He kept saying, "Sir. It won't do any good. I'm telling you. It won't come up. You may come down and present it." I explained, "I will go to corporate headquarters because I'm looking right at the ticket! I can email or give it to you by phone. I shouldn't have to go through this." *I was going to work in a couple hours. I had no time to drive to a restaurant arguing over food. The manager FINALLY puts the number in the system after requests were ignored. HE FOUND IT! He said, "It's the first time this ever happened." This is a very poorly executed establishment. No apology or ownership. He just said, "It'll be ready in 10 minutes." I shouldn't have had this issue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! This is the real Jersey Mike's. Sometimes I wonder if I were a white male or female if he would've believed me right away. I kept telling him to place the ticket number in the system. This was such a disappointment! The customer service was the absolute worst I have experienced in many years. They messed up and did not charge us for everything. I went back to the counter to make sure I paid for what we got, the man actually charged me more than he was supposed to. Then he proceeded to argue with me over the $1. I won't be going back. When i checked in on yelp today, i found out that i am the duke. Great. However, the corporate representatives have forbidden this location from making the sub i have been ordering for over 15 years, the way i like it. I come to jersey mikes for a hot Italian giant #13. According to the shift manager behind the counter, "corporate" visited the location today and forbid the preparation/sale of hot subs. This is only the second location of jersey mikes to turn me down when I ordered a hot sub. Every other location (i have tried) has gladly prepared it the way I like. Was a little intimidated when I walked into this location and a bunch of burly men greeted me, but they were all super nice and helpful right away. My sandwich is pretty simple, and quick to make. I like that they slice the meats to order. It really makes for a quality sub. The smiling faces and friendly service don't hurt, either. The sub is a little pricey for what it is, and that is my only complaint. But it's quality and you get what you pay for. I used to live in Pa. and have a thing for Italian hoagies, Jersey Mikes has Italian subs that are just plain awesome, the closest I have tasted to Pa. hoagies. I really love the fact that their meat is sliced fresh when you order, and you get what you pay for, not 2 or 3 slices of meat or pay extra for extra meat, I can't comment on any other sandwiches from their because I can't get past the taste of their Italian subs, thus the 4 stars, if I can ever try another sandwich then I will update to 5 stars. read more

Stopped in to get a couple of Subs for me and my wife. My sub being a Veggie since I am a vegetarian. When the girl went to make my sub she pulled out a block of cheese and started slicing it. The slicer was so filthy... chunks of meat just fell onto the slices that she then put on my sub. I explained that I was a vegetarian and didn't want bits of meat on my cheese... she proceeded to take the slices off...slid the sandwich down to the toppings area and asked what I wanted on it. I explained that I wanted cheese and asked if she could please clean the slicer for me. She then told me she was out of cheese??? I said ok and walked out. Lazy staff and rude to customers. Normally Jersey Mike's are good places to eat, however at this location the guy taking my order kept interrupting me when I was ordering kept wanting me to tell him what kind of bread I wanted. Kept trying to say 4 large (AKA Giants) mustard and mayo with wheat x Cheese, x-meat, no onions with peppers and bacon Subs. The workers were incompetent and rude. They made us feel extremely stupid for wanting to look at the menu before we ordered (this was our first time at the establishment). The vegetables looked like they were a day old and they told us to have a seat and they would bring my husbands sandwich to him, they did not. They yelled "Aye." In our direction so he would go and get it. I ordered my daughter a kids meal and they only offer soda for a KIDS MEAL! My daughter does not need soda I would much rather have preferred apple juice or milk so I settled for water. They also did not give us the cookie that was supposed to go with the kids meal. My wife recently ordered to sub by the box party platters at a cost of $60 each for a total of $131.10 with tax. This was an online order based upon a photograph of a ready to serve package of prepared sandwiches. I picked up the sandwiches that were in bags wrapped up as normal without receiving the party platters I paid for. If I had purchased the sandwiches out right the total cost with tax would be $114.49. I called and spoke to someone at the shop and explained the situation hoping for the customer service that any patron of a business expects, and for the establishment to make the situation right by refunding me the difference for not receiving the merchandise I paid for as described on the website. The manager proceeded to get very rude and loudly cursing at me in front of his patrons I imagine and hung up on me after calling me petty for wanting a refund of $16. I am in the customer service industry and I would never ever treat a customer that way. Needless to say I will never ever go back there and they have lost a lot more than $16 worth of business because I will never ever recommend anyone go there due to the rude nature of my experience. Do not come on here and leave a bad review over something that is out of the employees control. Responding to comments about closing 5 minutes early, give me a break. I pulled up to a Taco Bell an hour before they closed. What did I do when I saw their doors were already locked? I went to Mcdonald's. It's not a big deal. These are people. They have lives. How would you feel if you have been making sandwiches for hours on end just to have more people walk in RIGHT before you close. They have been here all day slaving at the slicer, grill, and trying to keep the store clean while working around the customers. And where were you? Sitting on your couch all day doing nothing and have decided to come in for a "last minute bite". It's so rude. Have more consideration for other people and get there earlier. The customer is not always right. I am ashamed that the public treats employees like they are nothing and feel the need to leave bad comments over the smallest of inconveniences.
