After having had the privilege of having been the first to review this Jersey Mikes, and leaving a five star review, it's definitely with mixed emotions that I leave this. The subs are just as delicious as the day it opened; that hasn't changed. What's been a consistent problem is their ability to get everything you order and get it correct. Getting two Pepsi's, when your ordered three, getting four sandwiches when you ordered five. Getting a Diet Pepsi when you ordered a regular, getting attitude or indifference from the kid working behind the counter when you point out his mistake are unfortunately the rule and not the exception, especially on larger orders. I had brought my complaints up with the owner a while back. He's a good guy and has always been very receptive, but when it keeps happening in spite of that, at what point do you say enough is enough and come on here. I'll still continue to go here, but probably only for smaller orders; I'd rather avoid having to take my order out and spot check a larger order. Hello, I have been a customer of Jersey Mike's since it opened in NBPT. I love this store and have have good experiences in the past. I decided to buy a large sub because a blizzard was on its way and this would feed me a couple of meals. I was not happy with the end product presentation and quality as the sub appeared to be slapped together even though the store wasn't busy. The gentleman who greeted me when I walked in was very pleasant, my order was ready on time and in a bag for me to pick up. When I arrived home I removed the sub from my bag and was surprised at how it looked. 1. The paper wasn't wrapped tightly. It looked as if it had been opened and unwrapped previously....numerous times. I have watched many reels where the subs are wrapped nice and tight and the outer bag is also tight. I wonder why my order looked like a ten year old put it together. 3. I requested the sub be cut in fours and that wasn't done. 4. Yes, the sub was delicious however, had very few peppers and onions. They were sparse. I watch reels and know the meat is pre-portioned however, seems staff adds the condiments and clearly the staff missed the fact this was a large sub. 5. I used rewards to purchase this sub and wonder if this is why the sub was of low quality. Overall, I am very disappointed with this purchase read more

Great food. Service could be a little better, but we will definitely be back. I recommend any of the steak subs.

Thought I'd give this location another try. Had a bad experience with slimy, brown lettuce awhile ago. Ugh. Same thing! I asked the young man slicing if I could have fresh lettuce as we both stared at the bin, and he said that is fresh. I should have taken a picture! It was brown and yellow. I didn't know what to say bc it was clearly not fresh. I will never go back. Is it so hard to have fresh toppings? What kind of poor training is it when a customer POINTS OUT what is clearly brown, yellow old lettuce, and an employee doesn't say oh of course, let me replace that? I like their concept and subs, but run a better ship, people!! Ick. read more

Surprisingly Tasty. But Not Tasty Enough To Go There On A Monthly Basis. Subway Is Better.

My first time here definitely won't be my last. I went for the #17 steak and cheese. Honestly very surprised. Nice shaved steak not the typical steak crumbles you get at most places. Quite frankly, I can't see how this store could get anything but a 5. Everything my wife, family and friends have had has been outstanding. Someone complaining about the meat in a sub, my goodness, the sandwiches are packed. The steak and cheese has real meat, not "mystery meat," and all the kids that work there are great. They should wear gloves when handling the food not the money don't bother wearing the gloves if you're handling the food and the money. Use your thinking caps kids. What is the purpose of the gloves? I wasn't impressed with the sandwich. I was later told that you need to ask for double meat to make it look like an actual sandwich made in New Jersey. Maybe it's just named after a guy named Mike who wears Jerseys all the time, then it might make sense. Nothing much different from a Subway sandwich. read more

Ending another HOT & HUMID day, I was returning from an appointment and just didn't have the energy to cook anything for an early dinner .. I decided to place an order. Browsing from my car I noticed what looked like a new sandwich combo - A grilled portobello mushroom with cheese . I usually get the veggie with cheese but time to switch it up and try something else. I received confirmation of when it would be ready for pick up and waited. The time rolled around and no message that it was ready ... nothing. So I entered the shop and waited inside. After some time one of the staff asked to help. I said I was waiting for my order and gave her my name. She then said just another minute... Okay I thought. I then saw that evidently my presence caused them to start cooking and making my sandwich. I also saw that this " grilled" mushroom is not grilled at all. Its FRIED along with green peppers and onions. Had I not watched and seen this with my own eyes I wouldn't be adding it to my review. I'm not sure of the exact time element but I waited at least 10 minutes after my pick up time. Being the type of day it was outside - the fact that I'd already paid for my order I did not have it in me to cancel or complain about the technique or the sandwich. I just grabbed it and drove off. When I got home - I live 5 minutes away. I opened the packaging to what was complete mush ... Everything had turned into a soggy, oily mess including the bread It looked gross slime - absolutely unappetizing..an absolute waste of time and money. I couldn't even try to eat it. No way! Could be 5- except the staff are missing the key component to a great jersey mikes- and that's the customer interaction. If you know, you know- it's all about the costumers. But here- they don't really talk to you unless they are asking what you'd like. read more

I must say the food was great but had some problems with the staff. The gentlemen cutting the meat for the sub and the other cashing me out were extremally disrespectful to the female staff dressing and wrapping my sub. I got the Italian sub, was good quality but the staff definitely need to work on the way they treat each other. read more

We wanted a quick lunch on our way to do errands. We ordered two medium size subs and two waters. I have to say I thought $25. was a bit high for subs but they were fresh and very tasty, although the bottom half of my roll was soggy. I guess the portobello mushroom added too much moisture. This place has some of the best subs. I like it for a couple of reasons, the cold cuts are cut fresh, it's quick even if you don't pre-order and it's easy to park. I don't usually use the app, but that might be a good choice at a very busy time. There are also a lot of nice young kids who work there and everyone is polite. read more

sandwich was good but the one with pink hair didn't put my applewood spoked bacon on my sub and I am upset to be quite frank.

Staff experience varies widely. One employee did not know how to wrap a wrap affectively. It fell apart once we opened it. Sandwiches were also placed on the counter versus on the sandwich paper which seems counterintuitive to proper food handling. Lastly, for all the people working behind the counter took forever to ring out. Need more training! read more

This is the most overpriced sub shop in town. Their regular sub is the size of a small, but it has the large sub price. Plenty of veggies but skimpy on meat. Stick with a local, non-chain shop. The staff is very nice and the place is very clean, but no bang for your buck. The flavor of their sandwich is average. read more

Just went today and it was quick and employees were great ! I got a Kahuna steak sub and it was excellent, meat was flavorful well seasoned and the peppers, onions, mushrooms and jalapeños were proportioned well for the sandwich ! This Jersey Mikes is hands down my favorite takeout place. the staff is kind and they seem to all get along, so it's nice to walk into a positive environment. The subs themselves are always made to perfection! Every time I order from Jersey Mikes I am satisfied. I am gluten sensitive so I love their GF options! They always ask if it's an allergy, and if you are someone who needs it, they will take extra care to clean the area/use different utensils/a designated GF space. Delicious, fresh food!!! read more

I have gone to this store a few times previously and found it pretty good for a chain. How ever, Friday evening 12/2/22 they had four kids working- two boys & two girls., While waiting to order two friend of theirs came in. All the waiting customers heard that one of them used to work at that Jersey Mikes, had been fired, and was just rehired. All of them loudly takes & joked while they ignored people waiting for food & waiting to order. One customer who had been waiting for 40 minutes had his sandwich given to one of the friends - the rehire. The eldest girl jokingly berated the others to pay attention to the food while she joked and laughed with the visitors more than anyone. The tables, prep counter & especially the floors were littered with food, but even in lulls, no one cleaned. The shop really needs to ensure an adult is there to supervise before they go too down hill. They will get one more shot with me based on prior experience, but if current conditions remain, I'll purchase from one of there many competitors read more

You would expect this sub chain to be like another Subway, when it is actually so much better. So far I have tried the steak and cheese and the "stickball sub," (a ham and salami with veggies.) The steak and cheese was possibly the best I've ever had! The meat was so tender, yet juicy. The cheese melted on to the sandwich holding all the ingredients together, leading to the onions, peppers, and bacon. The onions and peppers were as you would expect, pretty good, but a correct amount was put in the sub. I added the bacon, and it was cooked very good, and mixed surprisingly well with the steak and cheese! The stickball sub was very good too, especially for a cold cut. The ham and salami were good quality, with a good amount on the sub. The lettuce and tomatoes were actually crispy and juicy, adding some good taste. I could tell they were freshly picked. One thing I would like to mention is that this was a great sub in general, even to a person who doesn't like cold cuts that much. The two times I ate here, I got the Italian bread. This was very good, and it was not just filler, as it was hard enough to hold the ingredients, but soft enough to chew easily. The online pickup was pretty good, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. If you want a satisfying sub, please consider this place! read more
