This is my first visit to Those Guys Pies, but I've been to this spot over the years when it was different places. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside hasn't changed much through the years and changes of ownership. You can still put tables together fairly easily for larger parties and there is seating outside for when the weather is nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The service was friendly and attentive. Prices are on par with most pizza places nowadays. We ordered two thin crust 14-inch pizzas, 10 chicken strips, 2 salads and it fed 6 people. I didn't have any chicken strips, but was told they were tasty. They don't have antipasto salad, so we had the house salad, and it was really good. Again, ingredients were fresh. The roasted tomatoes were a very nice touch and the red wine dressing was tasty. The only criticism is the feta cheese; I would've much preferred mozzarella and/or Romano. The pizzas were really good & the ingredients fresh. I don't mind pizza that dips a bit, but my wife feels like it was too droopy while holding it, but we both appreciated the balance between the sauce, cheese, and toppings. Out of towners wanted pizza for dinner, I haven't been here for awhile as I tend to rotate through a few local places just because it keeps things interesting. Anyway, went on line, ordered through their website rather than one of the third party sites. Ordered the son city square pie (really oblong not square) with the "as it comes" plus a couple other toppings... came to $41.xx with tip. Order was ready when I came in the 30 minutes they said it would be ready. Picked up the offered extra cheese and peppers too. Got home quickly , we ooh and ahhed I opened the box. We portioned out the slices and dug in. Time wise, from the time I picked it up til the time I put it on the table was maybe 10 minutes... the pizza was warm but not hot... I think that was more due to the fact it was a thick crust pizza and more bread like than the traditional NY or thin crust. Toppings were ample, the pepperoni was cupped rather than the old style flat . Meatballs were sliced thin . Sausage was too rather than crumbled.. Those slicing styles did not detract from the taste . Not a huge amount of sauce and just enough cheese. The crust edges were similar to Detroit style and the remainder of the thick crust was not overly heavy and actually pretty light. All in all a pretty good pie. It was interesting to watch one of the out of towners pick all the toppings off after he was the one that wanted those particular toppings.... But then he only ate half a piece anyway. So apparently, my review was taken down somehow... we've been here quite a few times in the three months that we've been in the Las Vegas area. Two of the locations of now made us wait over 30 minutes past our pickup time each time, the last time at this north location the people were extremely rude the gentleman in the kitchen who couldn't count to 12 gave us 10 wings, even though we paid for the extra and they were undercooked the very large short stock gentleman who is cooking pizzas took a sweet time and then decided to burn our pizzas I would not go here again if anybody else spend your money somewhere else people are rude and inconsiderate no apology made. When my wife asked the lady at the counter what's the hold up the kitchen boy told her don't worry about it. Lucky I wasn't there. Take a look at that business response, exactly what I'm talking about. This place is a dumpster fire and no concern about it, their customer experience. Do not come here for a cheesesteak or wings. I could barely manage two bites out of this disgusting, soggy, beef jerky sub. I think leather would be easier to chew through. We had a nice little family gathering there and they were very accommodating. We ordered a couple different pies. Chicken wings were huge and we ended up ordering more of those everyone loved them. I really liked their pies because they're sauce was perfect. It wasn't overwhelming like a lot of places put way too much sauce. We ordered liters of soda for our table. I thought that was really cool. You can also do fountain drinks, they'll also cut your pies to how many slices you really want them to. We did a really large cheese pie. I think we cut it in the 16 pieces. It was great. We'll definitely be back as some of my family members already come here we'll just come back with the family again! Ordered online for delivery. The description for The Works in the menu is that it has green pepper but then it doesn't show when ordering. It gives an option to remove certain things so I assume the pickled peppers are the green peppers? That needs to be clarified. The sandwiches were good but definitely would've been better with green peppers. The chicken tenders were good but appeared that the fryer oil needed to be replaced because they were really dark on the outside and you could taste that. After hearing about this place on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" long ago, Diane and I finally decided to go here for our bi-monthly pizza fix. We were not disappointed in what we encountered. I ordered an 18-inch Big Pie Build Your Own with Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Green Bell Peppers, and Roasted Tomatoes, and Diane opted for a Regular Pie with Extra Cheese and Ham. We both liked our thinner than usual New York style pies that were perfectly cooked, and we deliberatively took half of each pie home for another dinner the next day. As warned by the pizza maker, the Bell Peppers here are marinated overnight, which gives them less crunch and a slightly different savory taste than normal Green Bell Peppers. I learned that I preferred the crunchy, unmarinated variety on a pizza better, but the difference was fairly negligible. Service was friendly and helpful by all staffers in attendance. Finally we're getting some culinary love on this side of town! Ordering online was easy. Son said the staff were friendly upon pick up, and can I say I love that they're within a reasonable driving distance. We ordered 2 pizzas: a pepperoni with extra cheese, and a split 2 of half supreme and half Italian white. They were excellent. Sauces are perfectly seasoned, toppings portioned as should, and the crust was light, crispy, and tasty that even my kids finished it! I ordered from this place when I saw the photos of their chicken tenders. Usually they all look about the same, like they came from some frozen bag in the freezer aisle; not here. They were unique, filling and tasty. I tried the pineapple sauce and it was great with both the chicken and the pizza. I'm getting ahead of myself though, so let's try again from the beginning. I wanted real pizza and found this place on yelp. I put all the items in my cart and tried to order ranch, no option. Can't know if it's meant to be without knowing what their ranch is like so I abandoned the yelp order. I found their website, downloaded the app, created an account and placed my order. The app is very basic, but there's no tracking option. Just that it'll be ready in approximately 45minutes. Okay. An hour and a half went by and I called to get an update, had to speak with two guys to be told the driver was on his way. It took another 15 minutes for the order to arrive. The delivery driver was very personable and super nice unlike the guys I spoke to on the phone who were probably in the weeds; now, back to the food. The pizza was really good and the ingredients seemed very fresh, the dough was a bit tough on the outside of the pizza (not burnt) though. It didn't tickle my fancy that I ordered basil on half of the pizza and the fee was $2.75 which to me is a bit steep for the quantity and again half of the pizza, so I doubt I'll do that again. We also had the poppers and of course the ranch. The ranch is small, that's why it's cheap so order plenty if you are a dipper. We will give it another go down the road, and I might swing by just for the chicken! Give it a try, I don't think it gets much better for delivery in Vegas, but next time I'll order earlier in the day because of the unsure delivery timeframe. read more

Those Guys Pies is a casual cheese steak and pizza restaurant with three locations in Vegas. The North Las Vegas location has an outside patio and a dog biscuit vending machine for fur babies. Last time we tried cheese steaks that were very good and were better than most we tried. (they also have hot cherry peppers here for that authentic touch) This time we tried the lake side salad and the Italian White Pizza. Everything was very detailed and very delicious. That salad and that pizza you won't get anywhere else so they are worth trying! On both visits the people working there were friendly attentive and helpful. The staff was all so nice, gave us all the time we needed to make up our minds, and very willingly and readily answered all of our questions about the menu.
