I am absolutely blown away from these low ratings in the reviews, these experiences were not at all I saw on the other reviews, Im always a die-hard Subway guy but I decided to try something different for a change and get some Jersey Mike's. Upon entering the place I see it was clean and the workers were super friendly and I told them that it was my first time ordering and they gave me a complimentary chocolate chip cookie for being the first ever to be at this Jersey Mike location, I find it really nice that they engage with new customers and make them feel like family. When I went the ambiance of the place was a great and the workers were serving customers, didn't hear any screaming or discomfort coming from anybody not even the customers, only smiles on their faces. Would I potentially go back to this location? Perhaps if I'm down for something different other than Subway because the Beacon Falls one always got my heart. But if you guys are in the Quarry Walk area give this place a try it's worth it especially if you are new customer and you state you are they will welcome you with a great warmth. -AJ read more

Upon walking in to order sandwiches, we overheard the owner yelling. "WELL, WE GOT RIPPED OFF AGAIN!" he was right at the front counter and began scolding the two employees as someone had come in and picked up the wrong order. He was angry to the point that you could feel it coming off of him. My daughter and I were both afraid to ask for anything special because he might've Flown off the handle at any moment. He continue to grill the employees on whose fault it was as he made our sandwich. It was then discovered that he was the one who had handed the bag to the wrong customer. Things got pretty quiet after that. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing, and we couldn't wait to get out of there as soon as possible. The food is good, but we've had a few order issues when we've done an online order and picked up food. My daughter has celiac and they gave her the wrong bread on her sandwich when we specifically asked for gluten-free and were charged an additional three dollars for the gluten-free bread. I will say upon our complaining to the store owner about the error on the online order, we did get a refund on that mixup and she did receive a coupon for a free sandwich as well. I would leave a negative review if I could. Very expensive place. Food overpriced. I did not like the experience. There was an female who put on gloves then went to fix her long braids with the same gloves. Disgusting, she then proceeded to make a customers sandwich. The area behind the was dirty, lots of food on the floor, employees did not clean the area. Area below soda machine dirty. Garbage on the floor. During the time I was there none of the employees cleaned any of the tables after customers were finished eating. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. I'm shocked at the low ratings for this location here. I've been going here multiple times a week and have never experienced anything that I've read below. Freshly sliced deli meats, friendly people, and fast order-ahead service. It's my go-to for lunch and has always been on point. The reviews for this location of Jersey Mike's honestly surprised me reading them. I have been to this location multiple times with no issues. Upon entering I have always been immediately greeted and the staff has always been extremely kind and patient even during a lunch rush. The hot sandwiches were cooked to order and the cold sandwiches meats were sliced right in front of us. The sandwiches are completely customizable and you could request any toppings to your liking. You could see into the kitchen as well as watch them make your sub through the whole process. The location is very clean and they work quickly. Great for a quick bite to eat! read more

I am surprised by the poor reviews. I always order from the app. You can select your time of pickup and ask for specific changes in the app- which have always been followed. Yesterday I ordered their catering box which feeds up to 12. You can customize the sandwiches and they put the oil and vinegar in the most adorable (capped) bottles - less mess and so cute! If going inside these restaurants during peak times and dealing with crowds upsets you- get the app and enjoy the smugness (kiddingish) of walking in and quickly grabbing your paid for order. The box was for a family grieving a lost member and it was relayed that the wrapped sandwiches were appreciated as an easy option for a meal and also was something that the younger family members especially enjoyed. I am sure they mostly appreciated that I didn't attempt to cook anything. The catering box will be my "go-to" order when looking for food to share at gatherings or even a bigger family order. And a side note- every employee has been nothing but gracious and welcoming whenever I have ordered food from the Oxford branch of Jersey Mike's- both inside the store and on the app. Thanks! read more

My dad got the #7 on 3.2.23 and within 30 mins was sick as a dog. He's doubled over in pain for nearly 24 hours now and I am nearly certain it was from eating here b/c he was completely fine before he ate there. I've ordered from this location a few times since they opened. I've never had a bad, or even questionable, experience with the food or staff. They greeted me when I arrived and my food orders were correct. I cannot speak on the hot subs because I don't typically order them. So far my sandwiches have been the equivalent to any other Jersey Mike's I've been to in the last few years. (But man, were they even better 20+ years ago!) read more

I went to this place today around 5:30 pm. I was first in line and I ordered a hot sub, Chicken Bacon Ranch. A number of people came in after me and they ordered cold subs which they got with no problem. Meanwhile, I was still waiting I asked why and they said they had to cook it first. They had one person on the grill, so if you order a hot sub be prepared to wait forever and starve to death before it is done. I will never go back there again. Positives are that the cold sandwiches are really good because they slice the cold cuts fresh. The hot sandwiches are very skimpy on the meat (chicken or steak) and very high on the sodium and the predominant flavor is salt. The organization of making the sandwiches is a nightmare if there are more than two customers there. It is impossible to stay with your sandwich to choose what goes on it when they are busy. I was in there last night to get 4 giant subs (at $19 a sandwich you can do the math.) The kid taking the orders could not have been more rude. He didn't ask what I wanted on the sandwiches (Mikes way incudes raw onion and oil and vinegar amongst other things -not wanted in my house). He just keeps taking orders and writing down numbers. He was also the meat slicer. He starts building the sandwiches by number and passing them down and I see that the rest of the assembly line puts everything on each sandwich and wraps them up. Nobody knows whose sandwich is whose because they don't take names and once you order you have to step aside and hope for the best. I admit I was a pest but for an $80 order I want it done right. I checked my ticket and saw that Mr. Rude-man had written down the wrong sandwich numbers. I also insisted on knowing when they were making my sandwiches, so we didn't end up with a lot of stuff on it that we don't want. He was clearly pissed off at me. The other guys were pretty nice. If they want to stay solvent in this area, they need to get their act together, particularly the way they interact with customers. It's my way not Mike's way. I'm the one paying the bill. read more
