Love a Jersey Mike's #10. But avoid this JM service is unfriendly and the sandwich just isn't as good

We stopped by here for some dinner before our movie. This was easy and quick. We only tried Jersey Mike's once before, at an airport, in New York. That was not good. But usually, airport places are not great. I order the Big Kahuna. They grilled it. It took a few minutes, not too long of a wait. It tasted good. They didn't over cook the meat. There wasn't a whole lot of cheese in it. It was still good.

The #9 Club Supreme always hit the spot. It is my all time go to favorite sandwich to get here. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean. I took mine to go and was really impressed the way they made my sandwich into my specifications.

I'd give Jersey Mike's a solid "A-Ok" three stars. I was at Delta Shores for an appointment, but arrived a bit early and Jersey Mike's was one of the few businesses open, so I thought I'd pick up lunch for my husband and I. The staff seemed surprised when I came in (around 10:30am) but greeted me. I think I'm a morning person so I may have been a bit too chipper and chatty. The staff was all business as they started constructing my sandwiches. You can tell they're about speed and efficiency. Before I even paid they had the next customer's order done, so pretty quick! For two regular sandwiches I paid $28.26 including a 20% tip, so about $23.55 before tip. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwiches were a good size. Great if you're really craving a good deli sandwich and your favorite mom and pop spot isn't around.

I love the California Club Sub on rosemary parmesan, it's amazing. I order the same thing every time, and they never disappoint. Sometimes, I can't find that option on the mobile app, so when I ask in person, the staff are happy to make it for me. Depending on what day and time you go, the crowds can very much, so it may be hard to get a table inside to eat.

Clean location with friendly Spanish-speaking staff (they were playing Marco Antonio Solis, Ana Gabriel and Juan Gabriel). My mom and I went last week and I had a roast beef sandwich -- the meat was so fresh and you could taste the great quality. The veggies were fresh and the rosemary bread was so yummy! They forgot to offer us the oils and vinegars at the end so that was a bummer -- I feel like we didn't get the full effect flavor, but hey.. overall it was a pleasant experience with my momma.

The deli sandwiches is where it's at though, and there's always a long line. The sandwiches are so loaded! You get the order sheet to the left side of the deli and put your form in the basket. Then walk around the store and pick up delicious cheeses, charcuterie meats, snacks, and fresh pasta. Their ravioli is pretty famous and reminds me of an upgraded version of the nostalgic soft, square beef raviolis that I grew up eating. If you don't want to commit to the entire box of take-home ravioli, you can buy it by smaller tubs from the deli. After 20-30 mins, your sandwich should be ready for pickup. The workers there are so friendly and provide great service. They genuinely seem to like their jobs. We got one guy helping us out from one end of the deli to the other end and he was so patient and happy the entire time. There was a sweet lady handing out cheese samples as well. Everything I tried was so delicious. I especially loved how thin they slice the charcuterie meats where they are translucent when held up to the light. Can't wait to go back for their fresh pastas and homemade sauces.

My to-go order is the Hornet on a Dutch crunch roll with everything on it except mustard. Make it a combo with chips and a drink, and you'll have an incredible lunch. The ambiance is different from other sandwich spots in midtown. The chairs and tables are older and worn, and it's small inside, but it's also inside an old house that was converted into a restaurant. That alone makes this place unique. People hang out inside or outside with friends and enjoy the vibes. There's a real sense of community that the Sandwich Spot brings along with uniquely crafted sandwiches. All of the sandwiches are named after people or landmarks in Sacramento. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and will help you with recommendations if you're not sure which sandwich to get. It honestly feels like you're in the company of good friends. The staff joke around and seem to enjoy their job and working together. You won't be disappointed by trying the Sandwich Spot during your next lunch break or on the weekend, hanging out with a friend.

Sandwich was big on a fresh made roll with a ton of thinly sliced pastrami. Also had fresh veggies and an aioli. I think my only complaint was that basically all the sandwiches had 2 to 3 sauces so its a bit much and messy. I omitted the italian dressing on my sando because im allergic to olive oil but im sure it was good. I also think the wait was a little long for the sandwich, not terrible but for a place that only makes sandwiches it was a little slow. It was busy so I will definitely give them that. I would like to go back and try another sandwich or two. Worth the stop in, just not a lot of places to sit so get it to go!

For those living in the neighborhood this is such a convenient spot. This is a smaller grocery store so you won't be able to find everything, but what they do have is plenty. There's fresh produce, wine, beer, shelf stable items essential to everyday recipes, and where they really shine is their deli and butcher area. They also have some prepared items like desserts, salads, dressings, pickles, dips, and more. On my latest visit I ended up ordering their Italian Hero ($11.99) from the deli counter, and picked up some of their pickles and house made caesar dressing. Everything was high quality and I loved that they have these options available. The Caesar dressing is delicious and I'll definitely be stopping in again for more. I've been using it on salads since picking it up. It had a good amount of parmesan cheese so The pickles have a very unique flavor, they're definitely tasty but not my favorite version of Dill Pickles- they are more tangy and zingy that traditional dill pickles, not bad just not what I expected. (I was thinking more kosher dill, like Claussen pickles or like the pickles you'd get at a Jewish deli). The sandwich was the star of the show, for $11.99 it was HUGE, the Italian Hero comes with prosciutto, mortadella, salami, roasted red bell pepper, and provolone- all sandwiches also come with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and pepperoncini. The combination of ingredients on Dutch Crunch bread was amazing and I think having roasted red peppers as an option is underrated, it elevates a sandwich so much. While I wouldn't do my normal shopping here, I would absolutely come for specialty items or pick up needed items for convenience. I'll be back again soon!
