Horrible! DO NOT COME HERE! The manager is horrible. They kicked out a disabled man who had a seizure because they would "lose business" (There was no one there !) and while waiting for an ambulance turned off the soda machine so no one could get refills of the drink! I would love to give a shout out to Vanessa this morning since she made it super easy to order both in the restaurant and through the drive thru. Inside, it was super clean and welcoming and I could see them make the french fries and burgers for my order on the spot so they were so fresh and warm when I got home with my family's order. Carl's Jr. has been one of my favorite places to get food and this location is no exception to my love for this franchise. I am not someone to regularly order fast food except on very rare occasions. And we are talking about places along the lines of McDonald's, Taco Bell, and in this case, "Carl's Jr". They are notoriously known for making behemoth sized burgers and other artery-clogging comfort foods. The location I am focusing on is in the Greenhaven-Pocket of Sacramento directly on Florin Rd. (and in between Freeport Blvd/S. Land Park Dr) in the Bel-Air shopping center. Since it has actually been a few years in eating their food, I decided on taking advantage of their breakfast items; especially with money saving coupons. This location is only a mile from my office so I figure why not consume a ton of calories in the early part of the day. My first visit, (on 7/29/2022) I ordered a "Steak & Egg Burrito" (at 600 calories) complete with charbroiled steak, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and fresh salsa, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. My second visit, (on 8/9/2022) I ordered their "Breakfast Burger" (at a whopping 830 calories). This burger packed a charbroiled all-beef patty, crispy bacon, scrambled egg, American cheese, hash rounds, & ketchup on a sesame seed bun. Since both of these orders were made exclusively through the drive-thru (in between 7:35-7:45am), I can't disclose any information on the inside part of the restaurant. But this is a relatively new location (having been opened since late-2018 based on Patrick Y's review) so it's got a nice clean exterior look. However, my order on both occasions was fairly quick with at least two vehicles were in front of me. Both coupons were redeemed without any hiccups as I made my way to my office. As far as the burrito, this is just average in my opinion. There was not a whole lot of steak and I noticed more eggs than anything else. Either way, it was very filling and larger than the majority of fast food breakfast burritos. Now onto the breakfast burger; this thing was huge and definitely on the saltier side. I would not recommend this to anyone that is on a high calorie/high cholesterol diet. I just think its overkill when you have a beef patty, bacon, eggs, and hash browns. I guess the good news is that this will fill the majority of people throughout the morning where they won't be hungry when lunchtime comes around. All in all, "Carl's Jr" is just average in my book. The commercials can be very deceiving as their food looks so mouth watering and delicious. As far as the regular menu items go, I do enjoy their Western Bacon Cheeseburgers and Six Dollar Burgers. But there are way better burger places out there ("In-N-Out", "The Habit") that are better than this. With that said and done, I am giving Carl's Jr just an average three-star rating. read more

We had lunch at this Carl's Jr because my brother wanted to try the new Big Char Chile Burger. He rated it a 2 because the pepper was not charred and didn't have much flavor. He also said the burger was dry and the patty did not seem fresh. I had the Charbroiled Broiled Chicken Club which I enjoyed and rated a 4. It was fresh and flavorful. It could have used some sauce or mayo but I enjoyed it. My mom had the Western Bacon Cheeseburger which she rated a 1 because the onion rings were hard, the patty was not fresh and there was very little barbecue sauce. My dad had the Famous Star which he rated 3. We went through the drive through and staff were friendly, fast and efficient. We will probably pick up food here again because it's near our home and hopefully there is improvement. read more

after ordering and being charged "chewy" the "manager" told me their system shut down and they can't give me food AFTER i paid and told me i'll get refunded in 24hrs. i'm telling her i was charged she's telling me she can't even give me a receipt because "it's not in their system" i thank her for not giving me my food and taking my money and as i'm driving away she slams the window. as i drive away i realize she never took any of my information, she told me there's not receipt and with how rude she was i wasn't positive i was actually going to get refunded. i go back in the store and tell her i didn't like how she slammed the window and she said well you were driving away. the way she handled this whole thing was wrong as i'm helping her do her job telling her to take my information so there's no confusion later and confirming the amount i was charged she's loud and aggressive the whole time. it's been 3 days i haven't gotten a refund, i've called the store and still can't reach "chewy" i got hung up on by one of the staff who wouldn't give me her name which isn't a surprise being that the staff is looking up to somebody so rude and was told i need to bring in a bank statement! i can't believe the unprofessionalism. these people really think i'm going to bring in my personal information because their system "shut down"? i have already wasted money on food i never got, haven't gotten my refund and they want me to drive and waste time and gas to prove i was charged?? this is unbelievable i still haven't heard from anyone above her and i'm still waiting for both my money and a manager above "chewy" read more

I paid for a burger and they didn't put it in the bag. I called them about it and they asked if I had a receipt. No, you didn't put that in the bag either. It was at night and it was raining so I wasn't prepared to drive 3 miles back to the restaurant for a kids burger. Their answer to me: tough luck. Very disappointing trip to this location. I had ordered the 2 beyond star burger, jalapeño poppers, milk shake criscut fries. I have no clue how they managed to botch this order so badly. They ended up giving us some random double burger & one beyond with regular Fries and one less jalapeño popper. Not sure what was going on because we waited a atleast 25 mins. Once we noticed we had to go back to exchange what we got but instead ended up getting a refund since they were being incredibly rude and dismissive about the errors that they made. Fast food is a tough industry to work in, but here it is. This one is for the manager who worked on 12/17 between the hours of 8-9 am, there's no need to be super aggressive when helping a person. Store advertised Minute Maid and gave me simply oj. When I asked them to cancel just the oj, the manager came to the window and told me the order already processed. I'm like no thank you. Please cancel the oj. She aggressively handed me my refund and refused to give me my receipt. When she finally gave me my receipt, she was mumbling something to the cashier and was super rude to me. So I asked to cancel my order. Then she tried to tell me again the order already processed and she didn't do anything wrong. So I let her know that she has been super aggressive, and her tone completely changed. Everyone has bad days, but no need to take it out on people. read more

Shiny with that new car smell! Beautiful and Brand New on Florin Road near Bel Air #6. This just opened folks, so the employees are still in training and learning everyday. Please be careful with your reviews until they iron out any wrinkles. Seems like their Happy Hour Sliders are a big hit. Go try one between 3pm-5pm for only $1.50 each! The dining area is quaint and may seat about 28 people, so this is not for large groups. Take note, there's a wonderful bank-style drive thru window at this location. The owners are very friendly and professional. The reason for minus one star is because of the parking lot, which is kinda one way. I saw five people driving through the wrong way during my visit. To explain, the exit to their parking lot is right on a main entrance to the shopping center. read more

Went Throught the drive through, My first red flag was when the lady at the drive thru didn't remember my order, so I had to go over it again. Carls Junior's has incredible quality for a fast food restaurant. Although the service is decent just like any other fast food join, the food and cleanliness of the place is superior. I ordered the Charbroiled Bbq Chicken Sandwich and added an extra patty and lettuce, and made it a meal by adding their delicious fried zucchini along with a drink. This business deserves to be closed or NEW STAFFING! I have came through the r drive thru multiple times now, they will just NOT SAY ANYTHING. They refuse to take orders? The store will be closed if it's open, they DONT answer calls. I was in the drive thru for 10 minutes once waiting, with little to no avail theyre inside hiding avoiding taking orders. WTF is wrong with this place? The management clearly doesn't care, I've reported this so many times. I would've given the store a five star because Carl's Jr. is really actually very good and the food is really hot and I really like that, but to me customer Service is everything and the customer Service sucked the two girls at the window one of which was OK but the other one was very rude and had a really really ugly disposition. I know everybody has a bad day, you don't know what people go through in their personal life, but when you work in customer service you have to leave that at the door or take the day off it's hard but has to be done, and I hope in the future that they are able to get that under wraps moving forward I do think that this is a good restaurant but I would not recommend it if they can't get the customer Service together because it's actually not the first time that I've had an issue with the customer service at this location. read more

You would think opening up a new Carl's Jr. they would have workers that give a damn....wrong. EVERY TIME I go to this location they are either A). Out of House dressing which is bizarre or B) something is wrong with our food. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because they are a new location. The last straw are these old looking, tough, burnt tenders. I like going to this location for the simple fact they are closer to me other than going down to Freeport for the next location, I might have to continue making that trip for now on. And they lack customer service not much of a simple greeting and when they hand you your food they just shut the window without a simple thank you or have a nice day. Me and my friend were served still cold and slightly frozen fries. We went to a manager to complain but we were only offered compensation in replacing the singular pieces of frozen fries rather than a replacement for the the order of fries. Understandably, this would please a corporate stand point but from a customer view point this is unfriendly and basically unwillingness to compensate. Add on the fact that a manager was not communicating well towards us and asked us "What do you want me to do then?". That shows a lack of problem solving skills when she could have offered us compensation in some shape or form read more

Been here a handful of times hoping for friendly service, but disappointed that every time the worker is bored and unfriendly. Also sad that my burger is always made sloppily, as Carl's Jr. always makes them pretty good and not all flat with the wrong buns. So I have a few things that made my experience at this franchise very unpleasant 1.ordered thru postmates was told 45 mins for a delivery at 11 AM (I had no problem with this at all I understand having to wait for delivery) 2. Wait 1 and a half hours and never got ANY FOOD OR CALL OR ANYTHING 3. When calling the store I was greeted by a lovely "manager" but when I asked her name I was told I "wasn't allowed to get that" and that she "couldn't do anything for me about my order" 4.
