    Grilled Cheese Sandwich

If I could give this location zero stars, I would they're lucky they even got one Starr. The staff is awful just a bunch of kids and the mobile orders are not in sync. The drive-through is a mess. The food is overly greasy there was brown grease oozing out of the grilled cheese sandwich. And you can't even call the phone number to complain to the manager because the manager talks crap about the customers with the coworkers. I can't believe what I witnessed never will be back here again.

The food is okay overall. I really like the tots, and the different lemonade options are a nice touch. Drive thru service can be pretty slow at times, and I've had my order come out wrong twice, so I'd recommend checking your order before driving off. It's not the best fast food spot, but it's decent depending on what you order.

I've eaten at this Sonic twice and had good experiences both times. The service was good, the food was good, and the prices aren't bad. During my second visit, I ordered a Big Dill Double Sonic Smasher Meal for 16.97, a Honey Chipotle JR Chicken Sandwich for $1.99, and a Fritos Chili Cheese Wrap for $3.99. I didn't have to wait very long even though it was a busy Friday night. The staff put some extra sauces in my bag, so I was happy about that. My Fritos Chili Cheese Wrap didn't have as many chips as in the picture, and the ones I found were a bit soggy, but it was delicious! I doubt there's a way to keep them from getting soggy once they're dunked in chili. My burger was hot, cheesy, filled with toppings and very filling. It was definitely one I'd order again. I got tots with my meal, which were good, but could have been better. I'm not sure if they were undercooked, or steamed sitting in the container too long, but they could have been crisper. I was full after eating all that, I didn't get to my chicken sandwich. It was still good at lunch the next day. The Picklerita Slush was in a category all its own. It's made from pickle juice, lime juice, pickle boba, and had a couple pickle chips floating in it. When I saw it on the menu, I thought, "That sounds gross, I'm going to try it." I was right, it was gross! Haha! I winced when the first sour sip hit my tongue, then winced again at the pickley pop as the first boba burst in my mouth. It would be a great drink after a smokey casino when the inside of your mouth tastes like an ashtray. That pickle powered pop would purify you pooch of any persistent putridness. I'd go back for everything, even the tots, but not the Picklerita Slush. I'll leave it to the kids to dare their friends to try it, then laugh when they make a face.

Man, this place truly does suck when it comes to wait times for online and stall orders. They're severely understaffed despite staff truly being nice and apologizing for wait times. The food is hit and miss and isn't consistent. Online orders take over 20-30 minutes wait time at a stall for small orders. I think if this place had better staffing it would be better as most of the reviews emphasize this location being understaffed. Corporate should honestly address this.

    Second example!

A hamburger joint where EVERY hamburger on the menu is unavailable. That's this Sonic, folks. And you can't even call them to find out what's wrong because their message says they're not taking any calls. See screenshots for proof. This store has had abysmally poor customer service in the past and now they are making up lies and saying their hamburgers are unavailable. This restaurant hates its customers. Avoid!!!

My first time at Sonic and wanted to try the slushies. The drive thru line was very long so we tried the drive stalls, stall #9. We waited almost 15m and almost left. I figured they are short staffed or just very busy but to wait that long for service.... I dunno. The cherry slush was ok, almost taste the same as a slurpee, just saying. The corn dog was very small for $2.99. Not missing anything.

I recently visited Sonic in Delta Shores and had a mixed experience. I was excited to try their new red velvet shake, but unfortunately, they had run out, so I didn't get to try it. On top of that, they also ran out of the size I wanted for the drink. However, they did make up for it by giving me a larger size at no extra cost, which was a nice gesture, so I can't complain too much about that. Just a heads-up, though: they do seem to run out of items fairly often. (sidenote: on a separate day I also ordered one of their Oreo cheesecake shakes/blasts and I had to wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes for my drink because they stated they had to defrost one of the ingredients) Another thing to note is that they close their stalls an hour before the official closing time. If you have a pickup order, you'll need to go through the drive-through instead. It's a bit inconvenient if you weren't expecting it. However, when they do have their stalls open, I do love this factor since you can order right then, and there have your food brought straight to you and enjoy your food all at once in the parking lot. At night it can usually get pretty lively here with a lot of motorcyclists and other cars, but it's overall a great vibe. As for the food, I've tried their chicken nuggets, chicken sandwich, French toast sticks, hot dog, corn dogs, and a variety of shakes and drinks. While their food isn't the best, the drinks are consistently delicious. My favorite is the cherry limeade--it's always refreshing and flavorful. The app often has great deals, which is a big plus if you're looking to save money. Overall, this location has its ups and downs. Their drinks and deals are worth it, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Stalls closed off at 1 PM on a Wednesday.

What are the hours. ?I've tried to visit everyday this week with no luck. The hours are not accurate

The website says 10pm, as someone mentioned, but today they closed the line around 8pm. Maybe they ran out of food? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was also able to grab some ketchup to enjoy those fries. My burger and fries was delivered and there were more fries than expected. I focused on those first because who like cold fries, right??? The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. A standard burger build but done perfectly! Beer was cold, food was great and the ambiance is a perfect local bar. Great spot to go if you don't mind hunting for a parking space.

And they are still there after almost 12 years! Both Bruce and I are very picky when we go somewhere to have what we think is going to be a 'freshly made, and high quality beef hamburger.......'; BUT when it ACTUALLY is, and it is such HIGH quality in the entire meal (the burger, the bun, the REAL ice cream shake, and the freshly cut batter dipped, and very crispy and HOT fries) falls into this category, then I am going to be very honest with my review! This quaint, but very good sized Burger Drive In is FLAWLESS in everything!!!! The decor, food, owner/and staff, and the prices is PERFECT! The meal was so large and good, that I could not eat it all. Then when Patricia gave us 2 of each of their specially fresh made dipping sauces.......well, I could not have been more happy! BUT what set this into the 'Winners Cup' arean for me, they had REAL Reese's Peanut Butter and she even made it possible for me to have it on my FRESH and very high standard double cheese burger!!!! PERFECTLY Perfect as Mary Poppins would say. HIGHLY recommend this secret gem right almost next to the world famous Gunther's Ice Cream on Franklin Blvd. Thanks SO much for the experience; Patricia!! We will be back very soon, as I cannot wait to have the FRESH Fruit Blackberry Shake! ** Bruce had the Barq's Root Beer shake and he loved it!

I'm saying 5 stars in terms of Fast-ish food. If you are comparing it to a fast food restaurant…read morelike Mc Donald's or Wendy's it's definitely better. If you're comparing it to In-N-Out or Five Guys it can hold its own. But these stars aren't putting it against a sit down with a server taking your order type of restaurant. First off, the service was stellar. I was wearing a veteran shirt and as I was ordering the person asked if I was a vet and proceeded to give me a discount for my service. She said this is normal and you can show your ID etc for it. There was no reason for her to do that so it surprised me. I also had a guy ask me if my table was clean enough as he was walking around cleaning up. Then later after I was on my way out he asked if I was happy with everything I had. The staff definitely made me feel welcome and happy I spent my money there. I got the double Mushroom Swiss, fries, and a soda. The first bite into the burger I was pleasantly surprised. I read some reviews about the burger being bland. Idk what they were thinking. It was a good burger. I'm not telling everyone I know they have to go there for their next meal, but it was a good burger. The fries were good. The serving was ample. I bought the Hot Mess spicy Ketchup. It was unclear that I could just get ketchup so I thought you had to order the dipping sauce. If you like spicy it definitely had some kick. I think I was expecting a lighter spice. Either way, it was good. Next time I'll probably just get regular ketchup. I wish they had malt vinegar. That would have really made me stoked. Inside the decor was nice and clean. Parking was super easy as well. If you live in Sac you know that sometimes that's really the most painful part of going somewhere. They have a huge parking lot. Overall I was happy with the experience. I'd definitely go again. I really wanted to try one of the shakes. They looked good. I had heard from a bunch of people that it was a good burger and overall I wasn't let down. Like I said at the beginning you can't compare it to a regular sit down restaurant but for what it is, it's definitely worth stopping in and grabbing a fast-ish meal!
