##7 Turkey and Provolone #9 Club Supreme #10 Tuna Fish

Stopped by during my lunch break to pickup for y coworkers and I . Of course there was a nice line but I was greeted and acknowledged as soon as I walked in and the team let me know that they will be with me shortly. That is a sure sign for me that the place acknowledges me and is happy that i am here rather than annoyed by my business. I really appreciated that sentiment. The jersey mikes team worked the line down quickly and got me out with my order sooner than I had anticipated. Excited to chow down!

    Beach grub. Happy 4th.

Friendly staff and great subs. What is not to like? You will find this Jersey Mike's Subs tucked away in the far corner of the strip center. They are a little more expensive, but I find the freshness to be worth the price. Pro tip, join the 'sub-club' to get bonus points which you can redeem for free chips, drinks, and subs.

Wheat bread. Oil all over the bread. And mayo! None of which was ordered

Not worth the price especially with all the local sandwich shops in San Pedro. Need to lower the price to compare to "chain" sandwich shops

Only in the last decade or so, I started hearing about the great sandwiches at Tucker's yet I only went in for Lotto tickets thinking that if I won sometime, it'd make for a good story. "Back to his roots, David K. wins Powerball..." Well, I am in charge of a lotto group of 14 families and we WON in December 13th's drawing! 4 numbers, not including the Powerball. A whopping $447 and they put it on the wall and everything! And we decided as a group to roll that into last night's drawing in addition to our usual buy in...and we won $56 dabnabit! But I was feeling pretty good about winning the 4 numbers so I decided to order up some sammies for the family. The boy and I decided to go splitsies and share the Turkey Avocado on Squaw Bread and the Pastrami Hoagie. The wife ordered the BLT. The staff are nice, friendly and efficient. It didn't take long at all to whip up 3 yummy sandwiches. The wife enjoyed her BLT and I had my half of the Turkey Avocado yesterday and it was great. The squaw bread was particularly fantastic. I had my half of the Pastrami today and heated it up in the toaster oven. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get sandwiches here again. It looks like all the meats are high quality Boar's Head products. And I enjoyed the bread the Pastrami was on as well. Prices are inline with other sandwich places. The market itself is jam packed with all sorts of snacks/drinks and goodies. They even sell ping pong balls and dice. I look forward to trying more on the menu next time!

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

Kelly's is located in what once was the Rolling Hill General Store. This business was established in the 30s, and Kelly's took over the location in the mid 1980s. Since then, this has been a great go to location to get that really fun snack and/or meal. What they offer is a really good selection of a lot of very tasty items. Everything is made with quality ingredients and a little bit of love. It's always a tasty place to grab that interesting something. With the offer is a good selection of salads, sandwiches, some pizza on French bread, pastries, along with some ice cream and other stuff like that. They really have a very good menu. There's really a lot of choices. And, from my experience, it's all really tasty. In terms of atmosphere, this business is really well put together. They have a number of very nice interior tables, if you want to stay out of the elements. Plus, they have a number of outdoor tables, if you wanna get that picnic vibe while enjoying your meal and/or drink. This business is located right off of PV Drive North. So, if you don't know the area, you may not know where it is. But, you can always GPS it. It's really worth the drive. Overall, this is a fun place to eat or grab that latte or other drink. It has always looked inviting, and I have always wondered what it looks like inside and wanted to try the place out. It's located on the corner of Palos Verdes Drive North and Rolling Hills Road. You can't miss it when you're driving West. I drove into their private parking lot and parked. There are small round tables under the porch, small and large picnic tables with umbrellas, even a couple stone tables and stools on the other side of the lawn that is for children to play and run around on. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the General Store. There is seating available indoors as well. Pretty, fresh cut flowers placed in vases, on each table. There's a refrigerator full of various bottled and canned drinks; bags of chips; a freezer full of individually wrapped ice cream; eight flavors of ice cream by the scoop in a refrigerated case, and loose candies in jars sitting on top of the counter. The soda fountain machine is behind the counter. I came less than an hour before closing, so the coffee bar was closed. I grabbed one of their pretty extensive menus and ordered a 7" Turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich ($15); cheese French bread pizza ($7); and grabbed a bottle of San Pellegrino ($3.75), all for here. I paid at the counter and sat down at one of the indoor tables. The gentleman behind the counter, Josh, was friendly and efficient. When my order was ready, he was going to deliver it, but since it was late, I picked it up at the counter. The sandwich was wrapped in white butcher paper. Sandwich was cut in half. It was really good. All fresh ingredients. The pizza was half a French bread cut in half, so it was cut in four pieces. Both were served on a brown paper plate, with napkins. It was pretty good, tasty tomato meat sauce with real white cheese on top. The bread was nicely toasted. Next time I visit, I'll come earlier so I can try a coffee and something else on their menu.

Called in an order instead of ordering online because we wanted a half and half large pizza. Would have been helpful to be able to order half and half online because I just knew the fellow on the phone was going to screw up the order even after I repeated the order twice and he repeated it after me. Come on. I ordered a half Appetizer Special (pepperoni, crumbled sausage, salami, meatball, mushroom, black olive, bell peppers, onion) and half pepperoni, jalapeno, pineapple (our go-to).. What we got for our $34 pizza was half Appetizer Special and half pepperoni, crumbled sausage and jalapeno. Man, we were really craving our Pepperoni, jalapeno, pineapple. The toppings on the Appetizer Special were plentiful as was the sausage (we didn't order) on the other half. Probably the only reason I added a star. But the pizza really fell short and was nothing like we remembered. I am a pizza snob and while the Appetizer was definitely in the running for a good, solid pizza with a good, chewy and tasty crust in the past, that pizza, sadly, is long gone today. I even called to speak to a manager or the owner about the screwed up order and was told he would call me. He never did. We also ordered the Antipasto Salad which was decent. The marinated mushrooms and artichokes ARE still very good. I thought the Italian dressing was missing but it was shoved in the corner under a bunch of lettuce and after two helpings, we still didn't see it so I had mentioned that to the worker on the phone as well. I do hate how they do that at places to skimp out on adding more ingredients to the salad. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend The Appetizer any more for all of these reasons.
