This is a bad restaurant. Usually a kids meal would come with a drink, meal, and a cookie. So when we ordered we got the drink and the meal, but we did not get a cookie! They said they ran out but they should have had extra. My child was very disappointed. We wanted a dessert to eat. Bad restaurant. But good subs and not the hole meal. It was 10 am and I was literally the first and only person at this place. I ordered my sandwich and the employee begins to cook my chicken. The first red flag was watching him defrost my chicken as he cooked it on the stove. Minutes later my sandwich was made and promptly handed to me. A few bites in and the chicken was not fully cooked and the sandwich was cold in the middle. My question is how does someone mess up the first order of the day? There was no line and therefore no need to rush the making of this sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. After I brought it to his attention, he made another sandwich for me and this one was cooked correctly, but I was so turned off by the taste of the first sandwich I couldn't bring myself to eat it, so threw it out and left. read more

I normally go to this location of Jersey Mike's but today I was very disappointed. While making the sandwich I ordered, the staff who was cleaning the counter with a rag used the same gloves to make my sandwich. Not only that but another staff member who was dealing with money used the same gloves to add beacon to my sandwich. I'm not trying to nitpick but after my mother who works in the hospital took notice and tried to speak with the staff who looked like the manager. Letting her know of the unhygienic practices of using a rag to clean the counter and not changing gloves the staffer began to show attitude.She said she would "change the gloves just for us" but I think in any situation the same gloves should not be used. She bagan to say she is not trying to argue with my mother but,that the brown looking rag is used to sanitize the table. Then she compared using sanitizer on hands to eat and her using the rag. Those are two separate things. After we just left without taking to food because the attitude and the rag(which was placed on my sandwich at one point) was not appetizing.If you still choose to go there be careful of hygiene and watch the gloves! read more

I don't eat Jersey Mike's sandwiches, I think they're over prices but my husband wanted to go. I had a large order for my family (8) sandwiches. I placed my order with a boy behind the counter but was very hard to hear him. Then two other girls behind behind counter made our sandwiches and one of the girls looks like she didn't want to be there. We were ready to pay but I didn't realized until the a lady from the kitchen placed the steak sandwiches in the bag, but it was special ordered. I said told her no one asked me if I wanted it specie and the BOY who took my ordered comes yelling and said " I asked you and you didn't say anything, next time tell us what you want before it goes ita cooked " along with the lady from thr kitchen. I was caught off guard with two people raising they're voices at me. I will never go back to this location, they're rude, unhappy and maybe they should lower down the music so they're customers can hear them. Look at the picture of a vegetarian sandwich with avocado (which cost extra). Not even two slices of tomato. The avocado is the size of a child's pinky. The lettuce is brown. The bell pepper is oversized for a sandwich. And that's it for a veggie sandwich. Except for the cheese. I asked for no cheese. When I called to ask for my money back the manager not only told me I could not get my money back because I paid cash but named off all the other places in San Pedro to get a sandwich at. Busy bee, sandwich saloon, subway and quiznos. Idiot! Quiznos left years ago. Subway is gross. Sandwich Saloon is a crapshoot. And now Jersey Mike's serves shit and if you don't like it the manager tells you to go elsewhere. Who has extra money to waste? I gave them the chance to make it right and I was told to fuck off. If you come here thinking it will be anything even close to a hoagie/sub from Jersey you will be really disappointed. The taste is on par of a bad sandwich you would get back east out of desperation, which was actually comforting to eat, but for the price, the amount of and quality of the cold cuts is a joke. They get one star for the sandwiches because they're good, but the service has been consistently bad at this location. I made an online order for 4 sandwiches and waited 25 minutes before coming to pick it up. When I came in no one knew anything about my order at first and then they said they gave my order away to someone else. There was no one in there by the way, they were just standing around. Once I got my sandwiches I asked for some quarters for a parking meter, and the younger guy with black hair made a comment twice, "i guess we're a bank now." I have eaten here a couple of times now and the sandwiches are great. It's a nice change up from the dinky little sandwich one's used too over at Subway. These have been packed full of meats, cheese, and 'Mike's Way' goodness. I'm a big fan of Jersey Mikes. This location in tucked inside the Petco/Sprouts plaza. Although this place dan be busy, there is a ton if parking. My favorite is the Club with Bacon (Mikes Way). All sandwiches look good, I just saw they have a chicken cheesesteak. They offer both hot and cold sandwiches, and the secret.......fresh ingredients and premium meats. read more

I live in the Bay Area and I'm not aware of any of these around my area, but my mom had mentioned Jersey Mike's to me after she came back from SoCal a few months back, telling me that I needed to try it. I was looking for lunch while I was visiting the San Pedro area and I saw that there was one close by so I decided to go give it a try. It's located in a pretty busy shopping area and there's not too many parking places available in front of the actual location but don't worry about that it's worth it. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly empty, like no one at all, which is sometimes a bad sign but I didn't care. I was greeted by the employees and checked out the menu and decide what I wanted. I got a roast beef and provolone and when they asked how I wanted it I explained that I wasn't familiar with what was standard and they let me know and they actually all seem pretty excited that it was my first time there. I got everything on this sandwich, minus raw onions because I despise them. Before I talk about the sandwich its self I would like to commend the employees ( I wish I had took note of their names , it was two gentleman and a young lady) because all three that I spoke with at the front were extremely nice and welcoming, unlike some establishments where you go and if you're not familiar with it they kind of give you a funky attitude, these people we're very friendly and answered any questions that I had, and even though I wasn't from the area and not sure if any of the establishments were in my hometown they still had me sign up for the loyalty program which I definitely think I will be using in the future. I took the sandwich to go because I had a sleeping three year old in my arm, and when I got back to the hotel ate my food and I was very happy. Everything tasted extremely fresh, and I really enjoyed the fact that they cut the meat right there in front of you. The bread that the sandwich on was slightly crunchy on the outside but it was still soft, the meat was very good and the cheese as well, and there was tomatoes, shredded lettuce, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar I believe, and peppercinis.. I'm pretty sure that was all that was on it and if I missed something I wouldn't be able to tell you because I scarfed the entire sandwich down. Comparing it to other sandwich shops, it is way above a subway. Anytime I've ever been into a subway you get maybe 2 paper thin slices of meat and vegetables that taste and look like they've been sitting out for 4 days. I've always enjoyed Togo's, but this definitely beats them. I would definitely recommend them and next time I'm going to try one of their hot sandwiches and see if those are just as good. So today my boyfriend and I decided to eat here for dinner and as I was ordering with this lady with red hair I tell her I would like the Baja chicken and she responds with a rude sound "arghh" as if I was annoying here with my order like it was an inconvenience I didn't just get a regular sandwich. I usually go to the Torrance location and today I visited the San Pedro location... Not impressed!! I pointed out to Diane that was making my sandwiches that there were bare spots without meat and all she did was move meat around. If that ever happens at Torrance they add a slice where necessary. She also took meat off...totally weird!! Overall Diane provided horrible sandwich satisfaction and poor customer service!!! I will think hard before I go back to this location again!! read more

We just had a Jersey Mike's open up in my neighborhood and I must say they do make a good sandwich. Polite service, good tasty bread and quality meats. They make a pretty decent Philly Cheesesteak. Opened today! Experience was excellent! We got the giant Kahuna and giant Philly. Yum! Angel came by our chaotic table and gave my son and nephew toddlers some sliced bread, cheese and turkey. Went here for lunch with my mom today, we got an original Italian and turkey breast and provolone and they were great. Our helper who was making our sandwiches seemed to be stuck on doing it mikes way when we asked for no tomato, but she got it right eventually! Terrible experience everytime! Tried time and time again.... Store is a mess. The frontline is just a shit show! Lettuce is brown and everywhere.. Tomatoes are soggy and not nearly stacked and onions have lettuce all mixed inside. The board where they place your sandwich is just completely greasy! Grease everywhere! A fly landed on the slicer and I asked one of the ladies if she could clean the slicer before she continued my sub and she rolled her eyes as she attempted to clean the slicer however the slicer still had stained blood from the roast beef.. As she sliced my Turkey the blood of the roast beef started to get on the Turkey.. Is anyone in this store even SafeServ Certified??? This is cross contamination!!! Grill was just caked with burned on black tar.. Everyone had a frown and no one even came over once to ask if everything was okay or asked if I needed anything else!
