I had never been here before, but I got a few regular subs to give it a try. I got a classic sub with ham and turkey and the big kahuna cheese steak. The classic sub was delicious and definitely had more flavor than most subs I've eaten. Their "Mike's way" flavoring is really tasty. The regular sub was only about 8 in, but it felt pretty loaded overall. I got mine's on wheat bread and it felt like a good selection of veggies in the sub. The big kahuna cheese steak was also pretty good. If anything, it was just a little too spicy because of the peppers, for my taste. The sub came warm and the cheese was nicely melted inside. The cuts of steak were plentiful and had a good texture. Overall, a satisfying sub. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was solid, although the hot subs like the big kahuna do take about 10 mins to arrive. I'm not sure if you can request a custom made sub, as I just ordered off their menu. For about $9/regular sized sub, it's not a bad value for the taste and portion size, but definitely not as cheap as Subway. Overall great experience and worth a visit. read more

Well, there really isn't much to eat around the Aurora Village area in walking distance. This place stands out because of the fresh ingredients (they actually slice the meat as they make the sandwich) and that their mini subs actually have more meat in them than a Subway $5 footlong. And with a meal deal for $6, it's one of the better values in that immediate area. read more

This is one of my favorite sub sandwich places in town. Ingredients are fresh, employees are friendly and everything is clean. They are great at accommodating my kids weird tastes (dry sandwich with cheese, pickles and cucumber??). It's more expensive than other chains but quality more than makes up for it. I usually stop in when shopping at the Shoreline Costco or Home Depot. It's not gourmet food, but is solid and consistent every time. read more

This use to be my favorite sandwich shop. I have two favorites sandwiches, the number 5 and also the Chicken parm. It has been about a year since my last visit and went to enjoy a Chicken Parm this week. Usually they gril the chicken on the gril (or at least heat it on the grill), but I did not watch this time. I thought I saw the worker taking a sandwich out of the microwave, but didn't think much of it until I started eating my sandwich. It had been microwaved. You know how hard/chewy bread can get when you microwave it, well parts of it were tough and parts of the chicken were so hard they were inedible. Not sure if they hcanged things for time or cost saving mesures but I may not be comming back for the chicken parm again. read more

The first time I came here it was great the employees were very kind, they informed me on there subs and I had a wonderful conversation with him. And the cheese steak I ordered was delicious! But the last few times I have come the employees were horrible and rude. When I asked for mayo after they constructed my sub, the chef started complaining. Just ordered 2 sandwiches and it was $29.00. Service was slow and there was a worker talking on her cell phone, she told me to hold on then apologized to the person on the phone like i was interrupting her. The man working started helping the person BEHIND me before i had even placed my second sandwich order. Took about 20 minutes for him to make 2 sandwiches while the other worker lady hung out in the back. That's not even the worse part. As I'm walking out i get a soda and the place is a MESS. There wasn't a single clean table, the floors were horrific and the soda area had sticky tea/soda stains and straw wrappers etc. The male worker was nice but slow and the lady had a bad attitude and was lazy. WHY!? Why, oh, why isn't there a Jersey Mike's subs in Seattle!! This east coast franchise is know for it's quality meats which get sliced before your eyes and piled onto your sandwich. Seriously one of the best Cheesesteaks I've even had and I can't resist stopping to get one every time I'm even close to one of these stores. I have come to this jersy mikes many times 3 times in a row around 6 pm they were out of bread.last time I went there I asked for new lettuce because it looked slimy it was going bad I work in a kitchen I know what lettuce looks like when it is going bad,when I asked the manger who wasn't even the one I asked screamed I just cut it this morning but the girl when and got the lettuce that was apparently also cut that morning it was completely bad so I had to go with the slimy lettuce. ALSO I am a strict vegetarian instead of cleaning off the slicer they got pre sliced cheese from the grill station,so how do I know the slicer was cleaned when it was cut.When I was in Texas visiting family a couple months back me and my girlfriend stoped to get a sandwich at a jersey mikes and they cleaned the slicer even though they were crazy busy way busier then the one here in shoreline when we walked in we were the only customers so far.so glad I am moving.i wouldn't recommend this jersy mikes at all!!!! read more

I used to love this place but they have begun to refuse to wipe the slicer (I'm a strict vegetarian) and they wouldn't switch the lettuce out when it was slimy and brown. One of the workers was extremely rude and just yelled that she sliced it a hour ago when that was clearly not true. When they brought lettuce from the back it was even worse, they shouldn't be able to serve food that way, health hazard! Also three days in a row I went to this place three hours before close and they were out of bread. How?! I'm never coming here again. read more

Love jersey mikes. This particular location gets high marks for a staff thats genuinely engaging and efficient. I walked in and asked "what's the best sandwich" which is really just a test to see how the staff responds to an annoying question they hear a million times a day. Food is ok....the staff is less than stellar. Super slow, not customer friendly and have difficulty listening. The guys behind the counter should get 5 stars for friendliness and service but the sandwichs were only 'okay'. I absolutely Love this place and will never go back to Subway. I am a stickler on customer service and every time I go to this location they nail it! The service is fast, they are friendly and really want to make sure you are happy with your sandwich. They slice their meat and cheese to order and you can actually taste the difference of the meats (at the other place everything tastes the same). The mini is enough to fill you up and is cheaper than Subway, as well. Can't say enough good things about this location! read more

Quick lunch with bro and his wife after a war zone experience at Costco. We went in with bad moods. The staff quickly broke the ice with non canned interaction. Nice. They were engaging and friendly. I got a small club sub which was huge. It was also great. Bread, veggies, meat all good and fresh. Dude the small filled me up and it was really good.
