The side of chili beans was an 8 oz container filled to the brim with steamy hot ground beef and kidney beans. Great flavor and texture. My daughter had the tri tip sandwich on a garlic buttered roll. The sandwich was jammed packed with thin sliced tri tip. She has the macaroni and cheese. She loved it. After entering, we stood waiting for approximately five minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. No one informed us that we needed to order using the kiosk until we asked. I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich, but when my order was prepared, it was missing the bacon. My husband calmly approached the manager to explain that we didn't feel like valued customers because of the lack of service. Rather than listening or trying to resolve the issue, the manager became confrontational. He compared my husband to his grandfather and stated that he "wouldn't even let his grandpa talk to him like that." His tone and behavior escalated the situation instead of helping to de-escalate it. He then told us we could leave, despite the fact that I had just spent nearly $20 on a sandwich that was made incorrectly. As we were leaving, the manager continued yelling at us and making upsetting comments. In a moment of frustration, I threw my sandwich back toward the counter, and it struck him. He immediately pulled out his phone, put the camera directly in my face, and repeatedly stated that I was "going to jail tonight." When the police arrived, they indicated they were familiar with this manager from previous incidents and even suggested that I contact corporate regarding the way the situation had been handled. I fully acknowledge that throwing the sandwich was not the right way to respond, and I regret that action. However, I believe the manager's conduct, lack of professionalism, and repeated escalation of the situation were completely unacceptable. A manager should be focused on resolving customer concerns, not provoking further conflict. I hope this incident is taken seriously so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

They finally bring out the big order and continue laughing and talking while telling me in front of the customer that they gave him all the beef ribs and have none left for me. He ended up asking if I tried the brisket(which I already ordered, great attention to your customers, again) and put it in my girlfriend's box instead of mine who doesn't eat pork! While this whole shit show was happening, there was a whole line of people waiting to be served who literally came and went because no one was there to take orders at the register as they were in the back the whole time. A patron inside saw my situation and said that at least the food is good so I was excited to try it. It was probably the most mid bbq I've ever tried in my life. The tri-tip and brisket were dry. The macaroni salad tasted like pure dill, the pickles were sweet and honestly tasted store bought. The pork ribs were just ok. The food at Wood Ranch is better. Long story short: Don't go through this bs service for mid food.
